Abstract

ABSTRAKObesitas sentral merupakan salah satu masalah gizi pada mahasiswa. Permasalahan status gizi ini akan memberikan dampak terhadap kondisi belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melakukan pemetaan profil status gizi mahasiswa di Program Studi Gizi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Tahun 2019. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode cross sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Gizi, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa angkatan pertama Program Studi Gizi, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa sebanyak 37 Mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian dengan melakukan pengukuran antropometri, antara lain penimbangan berat badan menggunakan timbangan digital, pengukuran tinggi badan menggunakan microtoice, dan pengukuran lingkar pinggang menggunakan pita ukur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 16,2% mahasiswa yang mengalami obesitas dimana sebanyak 83,3% diantaranya mengalami obesitas sentral. Berdasarkan lingkar pinggang dilaporkan bahwa sebesar 16,2% mengalami obesitas sentral. Prevalensi obesitas dan obesitas sentral pada Mahasiswa Gizi Untirta masih tergolong rendah. Kata kunci : Mahasiswa gizi, indeks massa tubuh, lingkar perut, obesitas sentral, status gizi ABSTRACT             Central obesity is one of the nutritional problems among students. This nutritional status problem will have an impact on student learning conditions. The research objective was to map the nutritional status profiles of students in the Nutrition Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in 2019. The research design used was a cross sectional method with purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted at the Nutrition Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The research subjects were 37 students of the first batch of Nutrition Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The research data collection technique used anthropometric measurements, including weighing using digital scales, measuring height using a microtoice, and measuring waist and hip circumference using a measuring tape. The results showed that there were 16.2% of students who were obese where 83.3% of them had central obesity. Based on the waist circumference it was reported that 16.2% had central obesity. The prevalence of obesity and central obesity among Nutrition Students in Untirta is still low. Keywords : Nutrition students, body mass index, abdominal circumference, central obesity, nutritional status
