Abstract

In the modern era, patients become more aware of the importance of treatment and have their own perspective on the besttreatment in handling complaints. The patient has important role in the development of knowledge, skills and doctor-patientrelationships for clinical clerkship students. The research shows that Western patients have better acceptance than Asianpatients. In facing the AFTA (Asean Free Trade Area), medical students are expected to become more professional, skilled,competent, and have a positive personality and nice attitude. Quality of service is a form of service that shows the ability orperformance that is become the satisfying perception of patient. To determine the perception level of hospital outpatientstowards treatment of clinical clerkship students at RSUD Deli Serdang. This study is descriptive research and the samplingtechnique used was consecutive sampling with a population of 342 patients that distributed to 10 polyclinics.Based on research results reporting of 342 respondents, based on sociodemography shows that the majority of outpatientsare satisfied based on the satisfaction level. The service level dimension which has 5 dimensions shows that the dimensionsof reliability (53%), responsiveness (51.46%), and guarantee (48%) of outpatients shows the level of satisfaction in thesatisfied category. The dimensions of empathy (53.51%) and physical appearance (40.64%) showed a high level ofsatisfaction (very satisfied).
