This study aims to determine what factors affect the level of poverty in Jayawijaya Regency. The problem is only limited to the variables of population and economic growth. The data used is time series data for the period 2010 - 2014. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. Processed data is secondary data. From the results of the analysis, the adjusted R2 value of 0.85 means that 85% of the poverty level variable can be explained by independent variables (population and economic growth), while 15% is explained by other reasons outside the model. The population variable has a positive and significant effect on the poverty level in Jayawijaya Regency. Meanwhile, the economic growth variable has a negative and significant effect on the poverty level in Jayawijaya Regency.
