The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of PBL learning models in learning process of social studies class on the VII grade students’ of SMP Teuku Umar Semarang from the teacher skill of managing the learning process, students activity in the learning process, and students’ learning outcomes classically.This research uses quantitative method with pre-experimental design with one group pretest post-test design.
