Abstract

ABSTRACT Fish oil is a natural source of omega-3 (n-3) polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), especially eicosapentaenoic acid (C20: 5n-3; EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (C22: 6n-3; DHA) . Fish oil is beneficial for health Fish oil is generally made in the form of an emulsion, but the absorption is not good and creaming often occurs during the storage period, causing a decrease in dose. There is a need to modify the emulsion dosage form into nanoemulsion because it can increase absorption, and help dissolve lipophilic drugs, improve bioavailability. The aim of this research is to get the best surfactant and cosurfactant comparison to produce nanoemulsion. Formula Consists of a ratio of oil: surfactant: cosurfactant 9 tween80: PEG400 ratio and 9 tween80: propylenglycol ratio, from the results of stirring magnetic stirer with a rotation of 600rpm heating temperature 700C for 1 hour, and stored. and after 24 hours the% transmittance test was obtained, the six highest comparisons were selected, namely the Tween80: PEG400 G (7: 1) 94.02%, H (8: 1) 95.32%, I (9: 1) 96, 88%, and tween80: propyleneglycol O (6: 1) 96.20%, Q (8: 1) 96.14%, R (9: 1) 96.25%. input into the preparation formula into F1-F6. From the six dosage formulas the ratio of tween80: propylenglycol (8: 1) was obtained which produced nanoemulsion preparations with 88nm particle size, with% transmittance> 96%. ABSTRAK Minyak ikan merupakan sumber alami asam lemak tidak jenuh atau minyak polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) omega-3 (n-3), terutama eicosapentaenoic acid (C20: 5n-3; EPA) dan docosahexaenoic acid (C22: 6n-3; DHA). Minyak ikan bermanfaat bagi kesehatan Minyak ikan umumnya dibuat dalam bentuk sediaan emulsi, namun absorbsinya kurang bagus dan sering kali terjadi creaming selama masa penyimpanan sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan dosis. Perlu adanya modifikasi bentuk sediaan emulsi menjadi nanoemulsi karena dapat meningkatkan absorbsinya, dan membantu melarutkan obat yang lipofilik, meningkatkan bioavailabilitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan perbandingan surfaktan dan kosurfaktan yang paling baik untuk menghasilkan nanoemulsi. Formula Terdiri dari perbandingan minyak:surfaktan:kosurfaktan 9 perbandingan tween80:PEG400 dan 9 perbandingan tween80:propilenglikol, dari hasil pengadukan magnetik stirer dengan perputaran 600rpm suhu pemanasan 700C selama 1 jam, dan disimpan. dan setelah 24 jam dilakukan uji % transmitan yang didapatkan, dipilih enam perbandingan tertinggi yaitu perbandingan Tween80:PEG400 G (7:1) 94,02%, H (8:1) 95,32%, I (9:1) 96,88%, dan tween80:propilenglikol O (6:1) 96,20%, Q (8:1) 96,14%, R (9:1) 96,25%. dimasukan kedalam formula sediaan menjadi F1-F6. Dari ke-6 formula sediaan didapatkan perbandingan tween80:propilenglikol (8:1) yang menghasilkan sediaan nanoemulsi dengan ukuran partikel 88nm, dengan %transmitan >96%.
