<![CDATA[Some verses of the Qurâan are positioned as the legality of practice of violence and abuse of men to women in their marriage. This paper focuses on the verse paragraph which reduces the rights of women in marriage, associated with a complete picture of womenâs rights in marriage which are expected to minimize the outbreak of violence in the house hold and can revive the spirit of the Qurâan for womenâs in dependence and the liberation of non-human bondage. Al- Zuhailiâs interpretation of these verses are divided into two parts, namely the interpretation of which is still gender bias and some interpretations which are quite friendly to women, such as appreciation for womenâs reproductive role
