<![CDATA[Nurses are health workers carrying out actions to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis. The nurses have an essential role as educators to provide education to patients undergoing hemodialysis that they must carry out. This aims to support patients to be able to carry out good self-management. Education about self-management is part of the management of patients undergoing hemodialysis. The role of nurses is necessary for improving the patient's ability to undertake their treatment and management of the disease. However, based on the observations, the role was conducted by nurses who have not been able to improve patient self-management. This community service activity tried to improve nurses' ability in conducting education to improve patient self-management. The activity was carried out by delivering material related to the role of nurses as educators to improve the self-management of patients undergoing hemodialysis. This activity increased the ability and capacity of nurses to carry out their role as educators to improve the self-management of patients undergoing hemodialysis.]]>
