Abstract

Abstrak Di era modern seperti ini, hiburan yang bersifat digital dengan basis teknologi sudah sangat populer. Hiburan yang bersifat tradisional seperti teater seakan-akan menjadi kurang diminati karena kalah bersaing dengan hiburan modern. Padahal, seni pertunjukan di Indonesia memiliki sejarah dan keunikan tersendiri karena variasi jenis pertunjukan yang berbeda-beda di beberapa daerah. Unsur hiburan dari teater tradisional Indonesia sendiri juga tidak kalah menarik dari hiburan modern, bahkan ada nilai lebih yang ditawarkan seperti moralitas dan nilai-nilai kehidupan. Walaupun hiburan teater seperti kalah bersaing dengan hiburan modern namun dengan memanfaatkan kelebihan hiburan yang berbasis teknologi, seni pertunjukan juga bisa berkembang.  Kata Kunci : game, teater, theatre jumper, gedung teater Abstract In this modern era, digital entertainment based on technology is very popular. Traditional entertainment such as theater seemed to be less desirable because it can’t compete with modern entertainment. In fact, the performing arts in Indonesia have a history and unique characteristics due to variation of performances in some region. Entertainment elements of traditional Indonesian theater itself is also not less interesting than modern entertainment, there are even more value to offer such as morality and values ​​of life. Although theater seems hard to compete with modern entertainment, but by using the advantages of technology-based entertainment, performing arts can flourish.
