<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the system strengthening local knowledge bersinegi with supra- local knowledge systems in the development of organic agriculture. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation of NGOs, officials of farmer groups and farmers. The results found that, first, knowledge of organic farming systems are not purely local, it is determined by the quality of human resources and local  sociocultural  systems, but predominantly influenced by the strength of formal and informal networks, degrees of access to information and knowledge systems from the outside. Second, the social behavior of peasant agricultural economy together with the development of organic agriculture from the outside. Third, knowledge systems function well initially farmers in organic farming, and then decline as individual rational considerations. Fourth, supporting factor is the availability of so in the market, the availability of raw materials in the environment, farmers, farmers own volition, and support companion.
