Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the dance lessons Muli Siger using drill method in extracurricular activities of SMP N 8 Metro. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Techniques that used to collect the data were observation, interviews, documentation, and testing practices. Drill method was applied in learning Muli Siger dance from the first meeting until the last meeting. Result of this study, Muli Siger dance using drill method shows that the student was able to demonstrate Muli Siger dance well according to that have been taught.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran tari Muli Siger menggunakan metode drill pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP N 8 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi partisipasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta tes praktik. Metode drill diterapkan pada pembelajaran tari Muli Siger dari pertemuan awal hingga pertemuan akhir. Hasil pembelajaran tari Muli Siger menggunakan metode drill menunjukkan bahwa siswi sudah mampu memeragakan tari Muli Siger dengan cukup baik sesuai dengan yang diajarkan.Kata kunci : drill, pembelajaran, tari muli siger
