<![CDATA[AbstrakPenggunaan gadget smartphone yang berlebihan akan berdampak buruk bagi perkembangan dan kesehatan anak, terutama di segi otak dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara durasi penggunaan gadget smartphone dengan kesehatan mental anak usia 4 - 5 tahun di desa Pablengan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan simpel random sampling di desa Pablengan pada usia 4 - 5 tahun, responden sebanyak 119. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah durasi penggunaan gadget smartphone dan variabel dependen adalah kesehatan mental anak di desa Pablengan, dengan menggunakan kuesioner SDQ. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kendall’s Tau (a0.05) hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa durasi penggunaan gadget berkolerasi signifikan dengan kesehatan mental anak dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0.836 (p=0,001). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara durasi penggunaan gadget smartphone dengan kesehatan mental anak usia 4- 5 tahun di desa Pablengan.Kata kunci: anak, gadget smartphone, kesehatan mental The Relationship between the Duration of Smartphone Usage with the Mental Healthof Children Aged 4 - 5 Years in the Pablengan Village AbstractThe use of a smartphone gadget which is excessive would be bad for the development and health of children, especially in terms of brain and psychological. This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of use of gadgets smartphones with the mental health of children aged 4 - 5 years in the village Pablengan; this study uses observational analytics with a cross-sectional design. The sample in the collection using simple random sampling in the village Pablengan at the age of 4 - 5 years, respondents 119.
