Abstract

Kata Kunci:  Paritas, Berat Badan Bayi Lahir, Ruptur PerineumThe incidence of perineal rupture in maternity mothers in the world in 2020 was 2.7 million cases, where this figure is estimated to reach 6.3 million in 2050. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal parity and birth weight with perineal rupture in Mothers in Normal Maternity at PMB Hj. Rosdiana, S.SiT. Reseach design used is an analytical study with a cross-sectional approach, the sampling in this study was obtained by the Total Population technique with the number of respondents 35 mothers giving birth. Data collection through questionnaires. Univariate data analysis technique using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. Based on result showed that the number of mothers who experienced perineal rupture were mostly mothers who gave birth with primiparous parity as many as 9 respondents (47.4%), and the birth weight of most mothers who gave birth to babies weighing > 2500 grams was 19 (67.9 %). From the results of the chi-square test between parity and perineal rupture itself, it shows the p value (0.003) < (0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the chi-square test between birth weight and perineal rupture showed p value (0.002) < (0.05), then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. In conclusion, this research is expected to be an input or guideline for Bpm Hj. Rosdiana, S.SiT to pay more attention to and improve the prevention of perineal rupture in pregnant women. Keywords: Parity, Newborn Birth Weight, Perineal rupture
