Evaluasi Laju Infiltrasi pada Daerah Rawan Banjir di Kecamatan Lhoksukon Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Abstract

Abstrak. Infiltrasi tanah adalah proses masuknya air secara vertikal ke dalam tanah melalui permukaan tanah. Proses infiltrasi tanah dapat membantu memenuhi kebetuhan terhadap air dan mengurangi terjadinya erosi tanah dan banjir.  Infiltrasi tanah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa sifat tanah yaitu tekstur tanah, C-organik, porositas, bulk density, permeabilitas dan kemantapan agregat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Lhoksukon Kabupaten Aceh Utara pada penggunaan lahan pemukiman, sawah, kebun campuran dan perkebunan kelapa sawit  dengan mengukur nilai laju infiltrasi tanah di lapangan dan menilai sifat-sifat tanah yang mempengaruhi laju infiltasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai laju infiltasi tanah pada daerah rawan banjir di Kecamatan Lhoksukon mendapatkan klasifikasi sangat lambat, lambat dan agak lambat. Nilai laju infiltrasi sangat lambat terdapat pada titik TR4-Kelapa Sawit, R3-Kebun Campuran dan SR3-Pemukiman, nilai laju infiltasi lambat terdapat pada titik TR2-Sawah, R1- Pemukiman dan SR2-Sawah dan nilai laju infiltasi agak lambat terdapat pada titik TR1-Kebun Campuran, R3-Pemukiman, R2-Sawah, R4-Kelapa Sawit dan SR2-Kebun Campuran. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi laju infiltrasi pada daerah rawan banjir di Kecamatan Lhoksukon Kabupaten Aceh Utara adalah tekstur, C–organik dan porositas tanah.Evaluation of Infiltration Rates in Flood Prone Areas in Lhoksukon District, North Aceh RegencyAbstract. Soil infiltration is the process of vertical entry of water into the soil through the soil surface. The process of soil infiltration can help meet the need for water and reduce the occurrence of soil erosion and flooding. Soil infiltration is influenced by several soil properties, namely soil texture, organic C, porosity, bulk density, permeability, and aggregate stability. This research was conducted in Lhoksukon District, North Aceh Regency on residential land use, paddy, mixed gardens, and oil palm plantations by measuring the value of the soil infiltration rate in the field and assessing soil properties that affect the rate of infiltration. The results of this study indicate that the value of the soil infiltration rate in flood-prone areas in the Lhoksukon District is classified as very slow, slow, and rather slow. The value of very slow infiltration rate is at the points TR4-Oil Palm, R3-Mixed Gardens, and SR3-Settlements, the value of the slow infiltration rate is at points TR2-Paddy, R1- Settlements, and SR2-Paddy, and the value of the rate of infiltration is rather slow is at point TR1-Mixed Gardens, R3-Settlements, R2-Paddy, R4-Oil Palm and SR2-Mixed Gardens. The factors that affect the rate of infiltration in flood-prone areas in Lhoksukon District, North Aceh Regency are texture, C-organic, and soil porosity.
