<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes terhadap olahraga pencak silat. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes tahun ajaran 2012 yang berjumlah pada SMA 01 135 siswa, SMA 02 134 siswa, SMA 03 120 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dengan proposional random sampling. Proposi ditentukan 25% sehingga didapatkan sejumlah 97 siswa dari tiap-tiap sekolah sebagai sampel penelitian. Variabel penelitian ini adalah Persepsi Terhadap Olahraga Pencak Silat Pada Siswa SMA Negeri Kabupaten Brebes 2012. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes Terhadap Olahraga Pencak Silat secara umum telah memiliki nilai skor rata-rata 63,01, nilai yang paling rendah dengan skor sebesar 30 dan nilai yang paling tinggi dengan skor sebesar 89. Dari 97 siswa terdapat 4 responden atau 4% dalam kategori sangat baik pada interval antara 81,26 - 100, ada 50 responden atau 52% dalam kategori baik pada interval antara 62,51 - 81,25, ada 39 responden atau 40% dalam kategori cukup pada interval antara 43,76 - 62,50, dan ada 4 siswa atau 4% yang mempunyai kategori kurang. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu pada siswa SMA N Kaupaten .Brebes secara umum telah memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap olahraga pencak silat baik (52%) sehingga dapat diajukan saran untuk menarik persepsi siswa seharusnya dengan melalui demo atraksi atau jurus-jurus dalam pencak silat harus diperkenalkan pada siswa di sekolah agar timbul rasa ingin tahu dan ingin bisa melakukan olahraga tersebut tentunya dengan hal-hal yang menarik pula agar siswa mudah tertarik olahraga tersebut. The purpose of the research to know perceptions of students state senior high schools in Brebes regency toward the martial arts sports. The population of this sudy is students in class X state senior high schools in brebes regency 2012 school year which amount to 135 student in 01 state senior high school, 134 student in 02 state senior high school , 120 student in 03 state senior high school. Of 97 students, there are 4 or 4% of respondents in the category very well in the interval between 81.26 to 100, there were 50 respondents or 52% in both categories in the interval between 62.51 to 81.25, there were 39 respondents or 40% in category enough in the interval between 43.76 to 62.50, and there are 4 or 4% of students who have less category. The conclusions of this study are the students of state senior high school in Brebes regency generaly have had a good perception of martial arts sports excellent (52%) that can be submitted suggestions to attract students' perceptions through the demo supposed to attractions or moves in martial arts should be introduced in students in the school that raised the curiosity and want to be able to do the exercise course with interesting things too easy for students interested in the sport.]]>
