PEMBERIAN VITAMIN C PADA LATIHAN FISIK MAKSIMAL DAN PERUBAHAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN DAN JUMLAH ERITROSIT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan kadar hemoglobin dan jumlah eritrosit setelah diberi vitamin C dan latihan fisik maksimal. Metode penelitian yaitu True eksperimen dengan mengadakan intervensi atau perlakuan. Populasi penelitian ini tikus stain wistar (Rattus norvegicus). Jumlah sampel 18 tikus jantan wistar berumur 2-2,5 bulan, berat 100-150 gram. Besar sampel berdasarkan WHO setiap kelompok minimal 5 ekor dengan cadangan 1 ekor. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan februari 2015, di Laboratorium Biologi FMIPA, Unnes. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode sahli dan hemositometer. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji pengaruh paired t-test dan uji perbandingan. Hasil penelitian ini, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemberian vitamin C sebelum latihan fisik maksimal terhadap jumlah eritrosit dengan nilai P=0,038 (p<0,05). Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemberian vitamin C sebelum latihan fisik maksimal terhadap kadar hemoglobin dengan nilai P=0,117 (p>0,05). Simpulan hasil penelitian yaitu pemberian vitamin C murni dosis 1,8 mg/200 grBB tikus per hari yang diberikan pada tikus wistar sebelum latihan fisik maksimal dapat meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit secara signifikan tetapi tidak meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin secara signifikan.This research aim to know change in hemoglobin levels and quantity of erythrocytes after being given a vitamin C and maximal physical exercise. True experimental research method is to held a intervention or treatment. The research population is stain wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). Number of samples 18 male wistar rats aged 2-2.5 months, weight 100-150 grams. The amount of sample based WHO every group minimum 5 tails with one tail reserves. This research was conducted in February 2015, in the Laboratory of Biology Science Faculty, Unnes. Data collection techniques using the method sahli and hemocytometer. The data analysis used paired t-test influence and comparative test. Result this research, there was significant influence between giving vitamin C before maximum physical exercise  on quantity of erythrocytes with a value of P=0.038 (p<0.05). There is no significant influence between giving vitamin C before maksimum physical exercise against hemoglobin levels with the  value of P=0.117 (p>0.05). In conclusion the results of the research is the provision of pure vitamin C dose of 1.8 mg/200 grBB mice per day given in wistar rats before maximal physical exercise could be significantly increase the quantity of erythrocytes, but did not significantly increase the levels of hemoglobin.
