HUBUNGAN TINGKAT ADIKSI GAME ONLINE DENGAN TINGKAT AKTIVITAS FISIK PADA PELAJAR SMA

Abstract

Statistik global menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 2 miliar orang yang memainkan game. Di Indonesia 10,15% kelompok usia remaja terindikasi mengalami adiksi terhadap game online, sementara 49% remaja dengan kelompok umur 15-19 masuk dalam kategori aktivitas fisik rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan tingkat adiksi game online dengan tingkat aktivitas fisik pada pelajar SMA. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasi dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran tingkat adiksi game online termasuk dalam kategori kecanduan ringan dan gambaran tingkat aktivitas fisik termasuk dalam kategori aktivitas fisik rendah. Hasil uji spearmen correlation menunjukan p value = 0,01 p<0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat adiksi game online dengan tingkat aktivitas fisik, dan nilar r = -0,230. yang artinya hubungan keduanya adalah rendah serta memiliki arah negatif. Rekomendasi bagi pelajar agar dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fisik 30 menit perhari atau 150 menit perminggu dengan melakukan gerak badan atau olahraga yang digemari secara aktif dan membagi waktu secara seimbang dalam bermain game agar tidak mengarah kepada adiksi. Serta rekomendasi bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian sehubungan dengan faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi baik adiksi game online maupun aktivitas fisik. Kata Kunci: Adiksi game online, aktivitas fisik, pelajar ABSTRACT Global statistics show that more than 2 billion people are playing the game. In Indonesia, 10.15% of the adolescent age group is indicated to be addicted to online games, while 49% of adolescents in the 15-19 age group are in the low physical activity category. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of online game addiction and the level of physical activity in students in Senior High School. The research design used is quantitative correlation using the convenience sampling technique. The results showed that the description of the level of online game addiction was in the category of mild addiction and the description of the level of physical activity was included in the category of low physical activity. The statistic shows p-value = 0.01 p <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between the level of online game addiction and the level of physical activity, r = -0.230. which means that the relationship between the two is low and has a negative direction. Recommendations for students to be able to increase physical activity by 30 minutes per day or 150 minutes per week by doing sports or sports that are actively liked and dividing time in a balanced way by playing games so as not to lead to addiction. As well as recommendations for further researchers to conduct research in relation to other factors that can affect both online game addiction and physical activity.
