<![CDATA[The availability of qualified, highly skilled and professional human resources engaged in service sector, especially in government agencies, is a requirement in order to improve quality of state administration. It also leads to gives satisfaction to quality and services produced by government to community. In addition to employee competence, infrastructure is one of the other important factors that greatly contribute to improving employee performance in an organization. This study aims to determine the impact of employee competence and infrastructure on employee performance at the Pesisir Barat District Health Office. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research methods within 48 research respondents. Based on data analysis, it has been found that the answers to the hypothesis are as follows. There is an influence of employee competence (X1) on employee performance (Y) with an influence level of 17.5%. There is an influence of infrastructure (X2) on employee performance (Y) with an influence level of 31%. There is an effect of employee competence (X1) and infrastructure (X2) together on employee performance (Y) with an influence level of 42.5%. This research brings any inputs for future research to consider the division of job descriptions according to the educational background and abilities of employees and providing work support facilities.]]>
