Abstract

This objectives of this research are to analyze (1) the compilation of lesson plan fo English lesson in narrative writing using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, (2) the implementation of English lesson in narrative writing with CTL approach, (3) evaluation of English lesson in narrative writing with CTL approach, and (4) the improving of narrative writing ability of XI grade SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung through CTL approach.The research method used was classrom action research. The object of the research is the students of class XI A3 and XI A4 2011-2012 school year. This action research lasted in 3 cycles.Kata kunci: menulis teks narrative, CTL
