Abstract

This research aimed at increasing conflict resolution through role play to the students of group B1 in Sejahtera kindergarten, Sidondo I village, 2016. There were 15 children from the kindergarten participating in the research. This research was conducted from April to May, 2016. This research used classroom action research (CAR) design by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The design in this study consisted of two cycles, cycle 1 and cycle 2. Each cycle consisted of 12 meetings with four stages, namely the planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collections were obtained from interviews, observations, field notes, and action monitoring instruments. The data were analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative approach. The results of this research showed that there is an increase in the conflict resolution through role play to the students of group B1. The computation showed an increase in TCP average from 41.26 in pre cycle, 60.93 in cycle 1, and 83.2 in cycle 2 of TCPMax104.
