Abstract

Education is one of the efforts to develop the quality of human resources which in general must be carried out by every country. This study aims to determine the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a descriptive research to describe and analyze an object or an existing problem. Data collection in this study was through direct interviews with both teachers and students. Data analysis used in the form of data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of this study indicate that the 2013 Curriculum Implementation Analysis in Biology Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic At SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya that the learning process is going well but not optimal. This is because there are several factors inhibiting the implementation of learning from home in biology subjects, namely the internet network, the absence of students during online learning, the economic condition of students in buying internet packages, and ownership of gadgets or laptops. The conclusion in this research is the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in biology learning during the covid 19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya, that the implementation or implementation of the 2013 curriculum was carried out well but not optimally. The suggestions in this study are (1) For teachers: so that the learning process in the future will be even better, (2) For students: in order to increase interest in learning in participating in the learning process both offline and online, (3) For school principals: to keep monitoring teaching and learning activities both offline and online, (4) For the Education Office: so that this research becomes a material for consideration and evaluation in the implementation of the learning process both offline and online.
