Abstract

THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE STUDENTS’ STUDY RESULTS IN SOCIAL SCIENCE LEARNING BY USING COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL THINK PAIR SHARE TYPEYulia Angraini 1), Arwin 2), Farida. S 3)1)Student, State University of Padang, Indonesia2)Advisor 1, State University of Padang, Indonesia3)Advisor 2, State University of Padang, Indonesia1), 2), 3)yuliaangraini12@gmail.comAbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the planning, implementing, dan the study results of Social Science by using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share(TPS) type in Grade V in Public Elementary School 10 Ulakan Tapakis, Padang Pariaman. This research is a Class Action Reseach with qualitative and quantitative approach where the subjects are the teacher and Grade V students, in total, 22 people. The result of the research shows the improvement in Lesson Plan, the implemention and study results. Based on data analysis, it was obtained the result of planning in Cycle I is by 73% in average, improved in Cycle II to 93%. The teacher’s implementation in Cycle I gets average score by 73%, and improved to 95% in Cycle II. The Result of students implementation in Cycle I gets average score by 70%, and improved to 93% in Cycle II. The students’ study learning in Cycle I gets average score by74.4 and improved in Cycle II to 84.1.Keywords : Study Result, Social Science Learning, Cooperative type of Think Pair Share (TPS)
