This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the learning model TGT on learning outcomes civics and whether there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes civics experimental class and control . This research is a quasi experimental study with a quantitative approach . The subjects in this research is the entire fourth grade students of SDN Srepeng numbered 40 students , who comprise the class IV A and IV B. Data collection techniques in this study with tests and documentation . Data analysis techniques in this study using the t test , but the test pre-requisite previous analysis, including test distribution normality and homogeneity of variance test . Descriptive research results show that student learning outcomes are included in the category of experimental class was very high (mean 20.048 ) and control class in the high category (mean 18,000 ) . In the analysis using the t test , (t count = 3,014 > 1,895 t table 1 % and 5 % 2.365 ). The conclusion of this study there was a significant difference between the results learning outcomes civics the students of class experimental and control, and the refer learning model TGT that more equally effective compared with conventional learning model .Â
