Asosiasi Protoreaster nodosus dengan lamun (seagrass) di perairan Pantai Tanjung Metiella Negeri Liang Kecamatan Salahutu, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hubungan dari Protoreaster nodosus dengan padang lamun di perairan pesisir Tanjung Metiella Pantai Liang, Kabupaten Salahutu Provinsi Maluku Tengah. Layout garis transek diletakkan berdasarkan kehadiran padang lamun. Pada setiap transek, parameter yang diukur meliputi suhu air, ph air, salinitas, dan oksigen terlarut. Pengambilan sampel Protoreaster nodosus dan lamun dilakukan pada transek yang sama , menggunakan metode transek kuadran 1 × 1 m . Dalam studi tersebut ditemukan 5 spesies yaitu Cymodocea rotundata, Cymodocea serrulata , Halodule uninervis, Enhalus acoroides dan Halophila minor. Hasil analisis asosiasi, jenis asosiasi dan derajat asosiasi menunjukkan bahwa Protoreaster nodosus berhubungan secara positif minimum dengan Halodule uninervis dan Enhalus acoroides.This study aimed to determine the association of Protoreaster nodosus with seagrass in the coastal waters of Metiella Cape Beach of Liang Village, districts of Salahutu Central Maluku Province. Layout of the transect line was put based on the presence of seagrass beds in each transect measured parameters include temperature, water ph, salinity, and DO. Protoreaster nodosus and seagrass sampling performed on the same transects, using transect quadrant method 1 × 1 m. In the study found 5 species which is Cymodocea rotundata, Cymodocea serrulata, Halodule uninervis, Enhalus acoroides, and Halophila minor. Results of analysis of an association, the association type, and degree of association showed that Protoreaster nodosus positively minimum associated with Halodule uninervis and Enhalus acoroides.
