Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a critical thinking assessment instrument on thematic learning of fourth-grade students of the elementary school in Tumijajar. The research method used is research and development by Borg Gall. The data collection tool uses tests and questionnaires. The population of the study is the fourth-grade of 172 students in Tumijajar. The sample was taken by using random sampling technique as many as 30 students of grade IV of SD Negeri 01 Daya Sakti, 62 students of grade IV of SD Negeri 01 Daya Asri, and 22 students of class VI SD Negeri 01 Daya Murni. The result of the research is the realization of critical thinking assessment instrument on thematic learning and there is a difference between students who use instruments with those who do not use critical thinking assessment instrumentsTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen asesmen berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Tumijajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development oleh Borg Gall. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 172 siswa di Kecamatan Tumijajar. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling sebanyak 30 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Daya Sakti, 62 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Daya Asri, dan 22 siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 01 Daya Murni. Hasil penelitian diperoleh adalah terwujudnya instrumen asesmen berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran tematik dan ada perbedaan antara siswa yang menggunakan instrumen dengan yang tidak menggunakan instrumen asesmen berpikir kritis.Kata kunci: instrumen asesmen, berpikir kritis, pembelajaran tematik
