<![CDATA[Abstract: Exclusive breastfeeding is giving breastfeeding course in infants to the age of 6 months without more fluid or other food. Breastfeeding exclusive impact good for babies that is as food single to meet all needs, increase endurance, anti allergies, increase intelligence and interwoven love. There are significant differences between the baby growth given breastfeeding exclusive and will not be breastfeeding exclusive, where babies who are usually dont breastfeeding exclusive growth the weight faster than babies are breastfed. On central java breastfeeding exclusive scope of 61,59% This is still far from the national program target of 80%. This study aims to examine the relation of exclusive breastfeeding on infant weight at 6 months of age at Posyandu Village of Mulur, Bendosari, Sukoharjo. This study used an observational analytic design with a retrospective approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 43 baby samples. The result of the research was analyzed by using chi square test, the result of exclusive breastfeeding has significant or significant effect on infant weight of 6 months, this is indicated from the probability value (p value = 0.015) which means at the level of accuracy α = 0,05, got value X2 ⥠X2 table (6,467 ⥠5,991). There is relation of Exclusive breastfeeding to baby weight Age 6 months in Posyandu Village Mulur, Bendosari, Sukoharjo.Keywords: Exclusive breastfeeding, babyWeight  Abstrak: ASI eksklusif adalah pemberian ASI saja pada bayi sampai usia 6 bulan tanpa tambahan cairan atau makanan lain. ASI eksklusif  berdampak baik bagi bayi yaitu sebagai makanan tunggal untuk memenuhi semua kebutuhannya, meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, anti alergi, meningkatkan kecerdasan dan jalinan kasih. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pertumbuhan bayi yang diberikan ASI eksklusif dan yang tidak diberi ASI eksklusif, dimana bayi yang mendapat non ASI eksklusif biasanya mengalami pertumbuhan berat badan yang lebih cepat dibandingkan bayi yang mendapatkan ASI eksklusif. Pada provinsi Jawa Tengah cakupan ASI eksklusif sebesar 61,59%, hal ini masih jauh dari target program nasional sebesar 80%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan berat badan bayi usia 6 bulan di posyandu Desa Mulur, Bendosari, Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan 43 sampel bayi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi square didapatkan hasil pemberian ASI Eksklusif memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap berat badan bayi Usia 6 bulan, hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai probabilitas (p value= 0,015) yang berarti pada taraf ketelitian α = 0,05, didapatkan Nilai X2 ⥠X2 tabel (6,467 ⥠5,991).
