Motivasi Berprestasi Siswa Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal dan Self-Efficacy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi interpersonal, self-efficacy, dan motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas 8 di SMP Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto dengan 227 orang responden yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik random sampling. Angket komunikasi interpersonal, skala psikologi self-efficacy, dan skala psikologi motivasi berprestasi digunakan untuk pengumpulan data. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (R = 0,476, P < 0,01), kemudian antara self-efficacy dengan motivasi berprestasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (R = 0,620, P < 0,01). Begitu pula antara kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dan self-efficacy dengan motivasi berprestasi menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan (R = 0,644, F = 46,691, P < 0,01). Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi pada guru Bimbingan dan Konseling untuk memberikan layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling guna meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi melalui pengembangan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dan self-efficacy siswa. Kata kunci : kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, self-efficacy, motivasi berprestasi ABSTRACT This research aims to know the relationship of interpersonal communication, self-efficacy,achievement motivation grade 8 studentsin junior high Teuku Umar Semarang. This research is an ex post facto research with 227 respondents obtained using random sampling. Now interpersonal communication, psychology of self-efficacy scale,and scale of motivational psychology overachievers are used in the collection of data. The data were analyzed using correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between interpersonal communication skills with motivation on student achievers (R = 0.476, P < 0.01), and self-efficacy with motivated achievers has a significant relationship (R = 0.620, P < 0.01). Similarly, between interpersonal communication and self-efficacy with achievement motivation have significant relationship (R = 0.644, F = 46.691, P < 0.01). The implications of this research on teachers ' guidance and Counselling to provide guidance and Counselling services in order to increase the motivation of achieving good results through the development of interpersonal communication skills and self-efficacy of students.
