Abstract

Abstract: The study aims at developing active teaching instrument within the materials of human blood circulation using role play strategy. The development referred to 4-D (Thiagarajan) which are defining, designing, and developing. The product was implemented to thirty-fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Ketintang Surabaya. The data were analysed in the descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the textbook, students’ worksheet, lesson plan and triwulan assessment validation have been good and proper to be used. The result of implementation showed that: 1) the dominant activity of students (15.6%) simulated the role play, 2) Learning process was well implemented, 3) students mastery were 100%, 4) students motivation and interest toward active learning by using role play were categorized as good.Keywords: active teaching instrument, role play strategy, human blood circulation for primary school.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran aktif (buku ajar, LKS, RPP danTHB) materi peredaran darah manusia menggunakan metode bermain peran. Pengembangan mengacu model 4–D (Thiagarajan) yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Implementasi produk pada siswa kelas V SDN I Ketintang Surabaya berjumlah 31 orang.Analisis secara deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil validasi buku ajar, LKS, RPP dan THB menunjukkan kualitas yang sudah baik, dan layak digunakan. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan:(1) aktivitas belajar siswa yang dominan (15.6%) adalah mensimulasikan kegiatan bermain peran, (2) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori baik, (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 100%, (4) minat dan motivasi siswa terhadap pembelajaran aktif menggunakan metode bermain peran berkategori baik.Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran aktif, metode bermain peran, peredaran darah manusia SD.

Abstract

Abstract: The current study was intended to analyze the effect of teaching and learning strategies as well as the self-concept towards the motion creativity learning outcome of the third graders of elementary schools. The study utilized experimental method with 2 x 2 factorial design. By using random sampling technique, 32 students were chosen as the samples. The results of the study suggested that (1) there was score of motion creativity between the students who joined the inductive strategy from those who joined the deductive strategy, (2) students who had high self-concept performed better motion creativity when they joined inductive strategy, (3) students who had low self-concept performed better motion creativity when they joined deductive strategy, (4) there was an interaction effect of teaching and learning strategies as well as the self-concept towards the motion creativity learning outcome of the third graders of elementary schools.Keywords: motion creativity, teaching and learning strategy, self-concept, elementary schools.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh strategi pembelajaran dan konsep diri terhadap hasil belajar kreatvitas gerak siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian mengunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain factorial 2 x 2. Teknik sampling acak sederhana dengan sample 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian (1) terdapat skor dari kreativitas gerak antara siswa yang mengikuti dengan strategi induktif dengan strategi deduktif, (2) siswa yang memiliki konsep diri tinggi menunjukan hasil belajar kreatifitas gerak lebih baik dari pada strategi pembelajaran induktif, (3) siswa yang memiliki konsep diri rendah memiliki skor lebih tinggi dengan strategi deduktif, (4) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan konsep diri terhadap hasil belajar kreativitas gerak siswa kelas III SD.Kata kunci : kreativitas gerak, strategi pembelajaran, konsep diri, SD.

Abstract

Abstract: This study intends to explore the effectiveness of integrated learning design based on core content from the development of Elementary School 2013 Curriculum. This study employed quasi experiment design. The population of this study was a school which implements 2013 Curriculum in Bandar Lampung. The samples were teachers and students. The instruments for obtaining data are a test, interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis of this study used t-test. The results showed that the integrated learning design based on core content is effective in establishing a good condition of learning which generate an integrated knowledge and integrated social within experience and exercise integration. Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah sekolah yang sudah menggunakan kurikulum SD 2013 di Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitian adalah guru dan siswa. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis menggunakan t-test. Abstract

Abstract: The current study was intended to develop a set of picture word inductive model for vocabulary writing. The development processes included define, design, and develop. The subjects of the study were the second graders of the Inpres (presidential order) Elementary School 26 Batumerah. The data was collected by using observation, questionnaire, and achievement test. The results of the study were in the form of teaching and learning set including teaching and learning plans, students’ book, and students’ worksheet which could fulfill the criteria of valid, effective, and receiving positive response from the teachers.Keywords: inductive picture words, beginner writing, elementary schools.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat model induktif kata bergambar (Picture Word Inductive Model) pada materi menulis kosa kata. Proses pengembangan ditempuh melalui define, design, dan develop. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 2 SD Inpres 26 Batumerah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at describing the tendency of the type of organizational culture and its impact on leadership effectiveness in elementary school. The design of research was using the research development involving 300 teachers as a sample and was selected purposively and proportional in five districts in Malang. The results showed that some types of organizational culture prevailed school organization including bureaucratic, supportive, innovative, market, adhocratic, and clan types. The entire types deem to be significant influence on the behavior and effectiveness of school leadership including the efforts of the principal in (1) the development of vision, mission, and organizational goals, (2) human resources management, (3) implementation of functions as manager, (4) role of leader, (5) the improvement of professional teacher, and (6) the development of school organizational climate.Keywords: culture, organization, leadership, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kecenderungan tipe budaya organisasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan di sekolah dasar. Rancangan penelitiannya menggunakan penelitian pengembangan yang melibatkan 300 orang guru sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara purposive dan proportional dari lima kecamatan di Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menujukkan sejumlah tipe budaya organisasi mewarnai organisasi sekolah meliputi tipe birokratis, supportif, inovatif, market, adhokrasi, dan klan. Kesemua tipe memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku dan efektivitas kepemimpinan sekolah meliputi usaha-usaha kepala sekolah dalam (1) pengembangan visi, misi, dan tujuan organisasi, (2) pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, (3) pelaksanaan fungsi sebagai manajer, (4) pelaksanaan peranan sebagai leader, (5) peningkatan professional guru, dan (6) pengembangan iklim organisasi sekolah.Kata Kunci: budaya, organisasi, kepemimpinan, sekolah dasar

Abstract

Abstract: This study is designed to analyse the content of thematically integrated textbook for students at fourth-grade primary schools with character building and scientific approach. The study is descriptive qualitative study. The result of the study showed that generally, the materials within the book have been developed in accordance with character building and thematic approach. However, there was some discordance within the thematic textbook that were suggested by the government, especially in character building and scientific approach aspects. In summary, the textbook for students at fourth-grade primary school which is published by the Ministry of Education and Culture does not fully contain character building and scientific approach.Keywords: primary school, thematic textbook, character building, scientific approach, 2013 Curriculum.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis isi buku tematik siswa kelas IV SD dengan pendekatan pendidikan karakter dan scientific. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum materi dalam buku tersebut telah dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan aspek pendidikan karakter dan pendekatan scientific. Namun, di beberapa bagian terdapat sejumlah ketidaksesuaian buku tematik siswa yang telah diamanatkan Kurikulum 2013, khususnya dalam aspek pendidikan karakter dan pendekatan scientific. Kesimpulannya, buku siswa kelas IV SD yang diterbitkan Kemendikbud berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 belum seluruhnya benar dari pendidikan karakter dan pendekatan scientific.Kata kunci: buku tematik siswa SD, pendidikan karakter, scientific, Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Abstract: Verbal communication and its nonverbal elements were the base of the formation of the mindset and the positive behaviors of the first graders of elementary schools. One of the forms of the verbal communication and its nonverbal elements needed observing was the constative utterances. The constative utterances were those which were produced to say and to describe facts which the truth could be sought and their values could be seen after the teaching and learning was done. Therefore, the teachers’ skills in precisely producing the constative utterances were absolutely needed. The precision in producing the constative utterances and their nonverbal elements could improve the confidence and the learning enthusiasm of the students. Teachers should be able to produce constative utterances and their nonverbal elements effectively during the teaching and learning processes so that the goals of the teaching and learning could be achieved and the atmosphere could be conducive.Keywords: verbal communication, nonverbal elements, constative utterances, elementary schoolsAbstrak: Komunikasi verbal dan unsur nonverbalnya menjadi dasar pembentuk pola pikir dan perilaku positif siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. Salah satu bentuk komunikasi verbal dan unsur nonverbal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah tuturan konstatif. Tuturan konstatif merupakan tuturan yang pengutaraannya digunakan untuk mengatakan sesuatu, menggambarkan fakta-fakta yang bisa dicari kebenarannya, dan nilainya dapat dilihat setelah dilakukan proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu, kepiawaian guru dalam mengungkapkan tuturan konstatif dan unsur nonverbalnya secara tepat mutlak diperlukan. Ketepatan pengungkapan tuturan konstatif dan unsur nonverbalnya dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan antusiasme siswa dalam belajar. Guru hendaknya dapat mengungkapkan tuturan konstatif dan unsur nonverbalnya secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai dan suasananya menjadi kondusif.Kata kunci: komunikasi verbal, unsur nonverbal, tuturan konstatif, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at describing the problem and capacity of leadership, the role of excellent leadership, and its behaviors of Elementary School’s Principal in remote areas. This research used the qualitative approach with multi-sites study design. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation and it analyzed inductively using modified analytic. The results showed that; 1) Elementary schools in remote areas have similar relative leadership problems and capacity; 2) there is four dominant excellent leadership played by the principal in realizing an effective school, among others: spiritual leadership, transformational leadership, the leadership of learning, and leadership of enterprener.Keywords: superior leadership, elementary school, remote areaAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan problem dan daya dukung kepemimpinan, peran kepemimpinan unggul, dan perilaku kepemimpinan unggul Kepala SD daerah terpencil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekata kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multisitus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam; observasi berperan serta; studi dokumentasi dan dianalisis secara induktif analitik yang dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; 1) SD di daerah terpencil memiliki problem dan dukungan kepemimpinan yang relatif sama; 2) terdapat empat kepemimpinan unggul dominan yang diperankan kepala sekolah dalam mewujudkan sekolah efektif, antara lain: kepemimpinan spiritual, kepemimpinan transformasional, kepemimpinan pembelajaran, dan kepemimpinan enterprener.Kata kunci:, kepemimpinan unggul, sekolah dasar, terpencil

Abstract

Abstract: the aim of this study was to obtain implementation model of gender based character building in Indonesian lesson in elementary schools. The current study utilized developmental and experimental research design. The data was collected by using questionnaire and in-depth interview by analyzing the qualitative and quantitative data. The results of the study were the gender based policies of the schools of character, the policies of implementing the gender based character building, the blueprint of gender based character building implementation in Indonesian, and the implementation of the gender based character building.Keywords: implementation model, character building, gender, elementary schoolsAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan model pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter berbasis gender dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pengembangan dan eksperimental. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan wawancara mendalam dengan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to produce excellent learning models which are adaptable and examine its effectiveness. The learning model is directed to increase teachers’ performance in remote elementary schools. This research used two approaches which are; qualitative descriptive, and experiment with non-equivalent model control group design at four Elementary School within remote area in Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province. The research results showed that (1)the Excellent Learning Model (PTK based teaching) adjusted with the limited teachers’ academic qualification, learning infrastructure, the minimum training experience, low internal motivation, and (2) Adaptable Excellent learning model is more effective in increasing teachers’ performance in remote area Elementary School.Keywords: excellent learning model, adaptive, and teachers’ performanceAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan model belajar BERMUTU yang adaptif, dan (2) menguji keefektifan model belajar Bermutu yang adaptif dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru SD terpencil. Penelitian dilakukan pada 4 SD terpencil di Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan yaitu; deskriptif kualitatif, dan eksperimen dengan model noequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian: (1) Model belajar Bermutu (pembelajaran berbasis PTK) disesuaikan dengan keterbatasan kualifikasi akademik guru, sarana prasarana pembelajaran, minimnya pengalaman pelatihan, motivasi internal yang rendah, dan (2) Model pembelajaran Bermutu yang adaptif lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru SD terpencil.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran bermutu, adaptif, dan kinerja guru
