Abstract

Salah satu penyebab optimalisasi pengembangan lembaga pendidikan adalah strategic Planning. Proses ini mengawali seluruh rangkaian aksi pembentukan dan mengembagan organisasi. Cita-cita, tujuan dan garis-garis besar pengembangan organisasi menjadi produk utama dari perencanaan strategi. Proses ini dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran masa depan organisasi dengan memperhitungkan kondisi masa kini. Dalam diskursus manajemen strategi, proses ini istilahkan dengan formulasi strategi. Secara fungsional, formulasi strategi dapat menjadi branding institution yang pada saatnya akan menjadi daya tarik dan perangkat utama dalam memenangkan persaingan secara lebih terukur. Penggunaan strategic planning dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan masih cenderung sebatas fungsi administratif dan tidak menjadi pedoman implementasi organisasi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh paradigma bahwa secara teori, manajemen strategi jauh dari nilai-nilai yang di anut dalam lembaga pendidikan. Dimana, lembaga pendidikan merupakan organisasi yang memiliki falsafah yang berbeda dengan industri. Atas dasar inilah, konstruksi perencanaan strategi dalam lembaga pendidikan perlu diliputi dan di warnai nilai-nilai yang relevan dengan konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini secara spesifik dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana lembaga pendidikan dikelola dengan nilai dan prinsip-prinsip yang berbasis pada kearifan institusional. Dimana, penelitian dilakukan di dua universitas yang sama-sama memiliki basis nilai yang berbeda. Namun demikian, secara proses masih memiliki titik kesamaan. Titik kesamaan inilah yang diabstraksikan menjadik prinsip dan nilai-nilai yang dapat dianut oleh seluruh lembaga yang hendak mengembangkan pendidikan berbasis nilai. Dalam penelitian ini dihasilkan sebuah temuan bahwa, formulasi strategi atau perencanaan strategi memiliki tiga proses, yaitu Analisis eksternal-internal dan analisis sumber-sumber ideologi, Penetapan Visi-misi dan Kebijakan Strategi. Masing-masing proses dan tahapan tersebut memiliki tata nilai yang harus di atas dan menjadi pedoman pengembangan lembaga. Penelitian ini juga menemukan tata nilai yang secara filosofis menjadi dasar pengembangan, tetapi selain itu juga terdapat beberapa nilai terapan yang secara teknis dalam mengilhami proses perencanaan strategi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji asumsi usia guru senior dan tingkat pendidikan guru, dalam pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi siswa dilihat dari hasil Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia 2019. Dalam paper ini kami menguji asumsi-asumsi tersebut, dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (kemendikbud) dengan batasan yang dimaksud guru senior ada yang berusia lebih dari atau sama dengan 60 tahun (generasi baby boomer), sementara untuk variable tingkatan pendidikan guru digunakan guru dengan tingkat pendidikan lebih dari sarjana S1. Metode pengujian statistik menggunakan uji multi regresi. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah: Ada pengaruh positif dari jumlah guru senior dan jumlah guru berpendidikan lebih dari S1, terhadap hasil ujian nasional mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tahun 2019. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa semakin banyak jumlah guru senior dan jumlah guru berpendidikan lebih dari S1 di suatu propinsi, maka semakin baik nilai ujian nasionalnya (dilihat dari nilai UN bahasa Indonesia). Asumsi Terbukti. Semoga penelitian ini dapat memberi motivasi untuk guru menempuh pendidikan yang lebih tinggi dan bagi guru yang berusia senior untuk tetap semangat mengajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational, transactional, authentic and authoritarian leadership styles on teacher performance in a Madrasah Aliyah at Pati Central Java. The respondents of this study were 70 teachers and the method of data collection was by distributing electronic questionnaires to the teachers. Data analysis in this study uses SEM (Structural Equation Model) LISREL program version 8.70. The results of the analysis and processing of research data indicate that it shows that the leadership, transactional and authorian styles of Madrasah Aliyahdi Pati show a positive and significant effect on teacher performance while the transformational and authentic leadership styles do not significantly influence teacher performance. Abstract

In the world of education, many private schools have sprung up which will result in competition between schools in obtaining students. It can be seen that fostering new student interest in a school can be carried out by improving the academic services provided by the international standard madrasah, Amanatul Ummah, promotion by international standard madrasah community relations, Amanatul Ummah. Mojokerto, and which one has more influence on the quality of academic services and promotion on the interest of new students at MBI Amanatul ummah pacet Mojokerto. This study uses quantitative data analysis techniques. Types of data collection using a questionnaire, test instruments using validity and reliability tests. classical assumption test and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the results of data analysis using the F test and t test obtained significant simultaneous test data (F test) of 0.000 and an F coefficient value greater than the F value (F count = 47.863> F 0.1 = 2.37 ). This means that there is a significant positive effect on the quality of academic services and promotion on the interest of new students at MBI Pacet Mojokerto. The greatest relationship to variable Y (new student interest) is shown by variable X2 (promotion), namely 0.514 or 51.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the professional development of private madrasah teachers in Serang City focusing on aspects of implementation, problems, and strategic steps. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation which where then analyzed using models from Miles and Huberman through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, decision making, and verification. The results showed that: Private Madrasas in Serang City had implemented teacher professional development on a still limited scale through KKG, MGMP activities, training, supervision, and monitoring. The problem of teacher professional development can be seen from two factors, namely: supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include the availability of teachers with undergraduate qualifications and spiritual awareness that being a teacher is a calling of soul (religious awareness). While the inhibiting factors are a mismatch between the scientific field and the subjects being taught, limited funds, and access to self-development; Strategic steps in the development of the teaching profession in the form of human resource development plans, empowerment of teacher working groups and subject teacher deliberations, encourage teachers to carry out continuous professional development.

Abstract

Technological progress will have an impact on social changes in society. Along with these advances, the challenges of leadership has also changed in the face of these technological changes. This study tried to examine various literatures related to leadership, politics and technological challenges in an effort to find the problems of the study to be discussed. Then the findings were as follows; First, leadership from a sociological perspective is leadership that faces challenges in accordance with technological developments. To deal with it, then as a leader it is necessary to implement the AGIL system by holding principles in Islam. Second, leadership from a political perspective is a leader who has challenges with individuals, institutions, organizations, parties and other institutions so that in facing these challenges, all leaders need to prepare themselves to face the challenges of these requirements and compete in a healthy manner without expecting outside help or political money.

Abstract

One of the ways in which the teacher profession is developed is by conducting supervision. Supervision is all the efforts of school officials in leading teachers and other education personnel, to improve teaching, including stimulating, selecting the growth and development of teacher positions, selecting and revising educational goals, teaching materials, and teaching methods and teaching evaluation . Supervision in schools is carried out by the principal who acts as a supervisor, so he must be able to carry out a variety of supervision and control to improve teacher performance. The supervisor's role is to provide guidance, direction, and guidance for the teacher's teaching and learning process for improvement. These improvement steps are intended to make the teaching and learning process and the roles and tasks of the teacher more professional.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how well the management of students pursued by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri III Sleman in order to improve the spiritual intelligence of their students is. In accordance with said main problem, this study aims to describe efforts in improving the quality of spiritual intelligence of students through student management in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri III Sleman. The research method used is descriptive method through qualitative research approach. The results of the research are as follows (1) student management planning and spiritual intelligence in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri III Sleman; (2) placement of student management in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri III Sleman to realize spiritual intelligence (3) development activities in realizing spiritual intelligence. Abstract

Education management, including madrasas, is undergoing a fundamental change, especially in terms of paradigm it develops, i.e. applying bottom up management concepts with a primary focus on efforts to improve quality through autonomy, accountability, accreditation, and evaluation. This new paradigm is basically used to arouse motivation and to launch systems based on merit, transparency, and public accountability. Madrasa, as an Islamic educational institution, in addition to aligning themselves with changes in aspects of the management paradigm as mentioned above also still maintain its characteristics. This characteristic distinguishes between madrasas and general educational institutions. One such distinction is the application of management principles derived from the great sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Qur’an and Hadith. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive-analytical method, this study describes the application of the principles of Islamic education management by taking the locus of research at MI “Al-Mukminin” Kalangan Perak, Jombang Regency. This study tries to examine the extent to which this institution applies the principles of Islamic education management which includes such principles as shura, ikhlas, sidq, amanah, and taqwa. Based on data, which was explored in depth through interviews and observations, the study finds that MI “Al-Mukminin” has properly applied the principles of Islamic education management. In addition, the application of these principles is also in accordance with the vision, mission, and objectives of the madrasa.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the quality management developed at the madrasa diniyah is boarded in the muhammdiyah lamongan pesantren. In accordance with these problems, the objectives of this study are (1) how is the quality planning (2) how is the quality program implemented (3) How is quality monitoring and evaluation (4) how is the quality improvement action carried out by boarding muhammadyah lamongan boarding school. The research method uses qualitative methods, with the reason that the questions are open so that researchers can be flexible and can develop questions, because researchers want to describe and analyze the implementation of quality management in Islamic boarding schools in Muhammadiyah dilamongan, Madrasah diniyah Islamic boarding schools in Muhammadiyah Lamongan, the results of the study show that there are several diniyah muhammdiyah Islamic boarding school program in lamongan has developed quality management starting from planning, implementation of monitoring and evaluation as well as follow-up of quality improvement which is very synergic between madrasa and Islamic boarding school so that the existence of madrasa diniyah and pondok pesantren continues to develop. Recommendations, this study recommends that madrash diniyah and lamuh muhammadyah Islamic boarding schools should continue to be quality teamwork in improving quality with structured roles and responsibilities, and become models that can be used as alternative concepts for quality management of madrasa diniyah.
