AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas dan profitabilitas yang telah dicapai, melakukan evaluasi terhadap faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya produktivitas dan profitabilitas, serta mencari solusi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan profitabilitas KSU Brosem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode American Productivity Center (APC) untuk melihat hubungan antara tingkat produktivitas dan profitabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan dari April 2014 hingga Desember 2015 menunjukkan bahwa nilai ratarata produktivitas input total KSU Brosem sebesar 2,237 dan indeks produktivitasnya sebesar 100,190, sehingga dikatakan baik. Nilai indeks produktivitas terendah terdapat pada bulan Desember 2015 yaitu sebesar 84,101. Rendahnya produktivitas disebabkan pemborosan pemakaian input perusahaan. Nilai rata-rata tingkat profitabilitas input total KSU Brosem sebesar 1,999 dan indeks profitabilitasnya sebesar 89,524, sehingga dikatakan rugi. Rendahnya profitabilitas disebabkan harga bahan baku naik, jam lembur, dan Tarif Dasar Listrik (TDL) meningkat. Peningkatan produktivitas KSU Brosem dilakukan dengan cara inspeksi yang ketat dan meningkatkan kontrol terhadap bahan baku yang dikirim supplier, memberi peringatan dengan pemotongan gaji, meningkatkan kesadaran tenaga kerja untuk menghemat energi, dan investasi penggantian mesin. Peningkatan profitabilitas KSU Brosem dapat dilakukan dengan cara menjalin kerjasama yang baik dengan supplier, meningkatkan kecepatan operasi untuk mengurangi upah lembur, dan meningkatkan kesadaran tenaga kerja untuk hemat energi.Kata kunci: sari apel, pemasaran, strategi, SWOT, QSPM AbstractThe aim of this study is to find out, do evaluating of the causing low and find the solutions to increase both productivity and profitability KSU Brosem. This study uses American Productivity Center to see the correlation between the level of productivity and profitability. The result of data analysis from April 2014 to December 2015 showed that the productivity’s average of total input was 2.237 and index score was 100.190. The lowest productivity index found in December 2015 which amounted to 84.101. The low of productivity is caused by the waste of input. The profitability’s average of total input was 1.999 and index score was 89.524 which was considered as loss condition. The low of profitability is caused by the increase of raw materials cost, overtime hours, and electricity cost. The improvement on productivity is done by doing tight inspection and increasing the control toward raw materials, giving warnings and salary reduction, increasing the awareness in saving the energy, and the investment on new machine. The improvement on profitability is done by establishing good cooperation with the supplier, increasing the operation speed, and increasing the awareness to save the energy.Keywords: apple beverage, marketing, strategy, SWOT, QSPM

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh suhu fermentasi dan penambahan suplemen metal ion terhadap pertumbuhan Z.mobilis serta mengukur kemampuannya dalam menghasilkan etanol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan dua faktor, yaitu suhu fermentasi (30, 34, dan 38 °C) dan penambahan ion logam dari senyawa garam (Kalium dikromat, Magnesium klorida, dan Asam borat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu saat fermentasi dan penambahan suplemen ion logam memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan sel, total gula reduksi, dan kadar etanol. Pertumbuhan sel tertinggi sebesar 0,753 NTU dengan penambahan kalium dikromat pada suhu fermentasi 38 °C. Total gula reduksi terendah sebesar 789,97 mg/ml dengan penambahan Asam borat pada suhu fermentasi 34 °C. Kadar etanol tertinggi sebesar 2,234% dengan penambahan kalim dikromat pada suhu fermentasi 34 °C.Kata kunci: gula reduksi, ion logam, kadar etanol, tekanan suhu tinggi, Zymomonas mobilis AbstractThis study was aimed to find out the effect of fermentation temperature and metal ion supplement addition towards the growth of Z.mobilis as well as to measure its capability in producing ethanol. This research was conducted by using the randomized block design with two factors namely fermentation temperature (30,34,38 oC) and metal ion supplement addition of Potassium dichromate, Magnesium chloride and Boric acid. The result showed that temperature stress and metal ion supplement addition had significant influence on cell growth, total reducing sugar, and the amount of ethanol production. AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan menentukan konsentrasi fiksator jenis bahan fiksasi yang berbeda terhadap hasil kualitas kain mori primissima pewarna alami daun sirsak. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Tersarang dua faktor. Faktor utamanya adalah jenis bahan fiksasi kapur tohor dan tawas, sedangkan faktor yang tersarang adalah konsentrasi bahan fiksasi 10%, 15%, dan 20%. Dilakukan uji organoleptik (warna dan tingkat kehalusan) dan uji fisik (intensitas warna, uji ketahanan luntur warna). Data uji organoleptik menggunakan uji Friedman, data intensitas warna dengan ANOVA dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) dengan kepercayaan (α=0,05) jika terdapat beda tidak nyata, dan data ketahanan luntur warna dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan terbaik fiksator tawas pada konsentrasi 10% diperoleh nilai warna 3,93 (menyukai), tingkat kehalusan 3,83 (menyukai), nilai intensitas warna merah 14,47, nilai intensitas warna kuning 14,03, nilai kecerahan 55,4, gosokan kering dan gosokan basah 4 (baik), perubahan warna 3 (cukup baik), dan skala penodaan 4 (baik). Perlakuan terbaik fiksator kapur tohor pada konsentrasi 20% diperoleh nilai warna 3,97 (menyukai), tingkat kehalusan 4 (menyukai), nilai intensitas warna merah 18,8, nilai intensitas warna kuning 18,87, nilai kecerahan 51,1, gosokan kering 3 (cukup baik), dan gosokan basah 2 (agak baik), perubahan warna 2 (agak baik), skala penodaan 3-4 (cukup baik).Kata kunci: Daun sirsak, fiksasi, pewarna alami AbstractThis research aims to determine concentration of fixator from different material fixation types to quality primissima results soursop leaves natural dyes. Research using Random Design Nested by two factors. The first factor is type of material fixation unlike lime and alum, the nested factor is concentration of fixation 10%, 15% and 20%. The parameters to test is organoleptics test (color and smoothness) and physic test (color intensity and color fastness test). Organoleptics data results using Friedman test, intensity data with ANOVA and if there is no real difference continue with BNT (the smallest Real Difference) trust (α = 0.05), fastness color data with analyzed descriptively. The analysis showed best concentration of alum is 10% obtained value on color 3.93, smoothness 3.83, redness value 14.47, yellowness value 14.03, brightness value 55.4, dry rub and rub 4, color change 3 and scale desecration 4. The best concentration in unlike lime is 20% obtained value on color 3.97, smoothness 4, redness value 18.8, yellowness value 18.87, brightness value 51.1, dry rub 3, wet rub 2, color change 2 and scale desecration 3-4.Keywords: Fixation, natural dyes, soursop leaf

AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi gliserol dan ekstrak daun beluntas, serta mengetahui kombinasi konsentrasi gliserol dan ekstrak daun beluntas yang tepat untuk menghasilkan edible film antibakteri yang memiliki kualitas mekanik dan daya hambat yang tepat. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok 2 faktor dimana faktor 1 konsentrasi gliserol (8%, 10% dan 20%) dan faktor 2, ekstrak daun beluntas (20%, 25%, dan 30%) yang diulang 2 kali. Pengamatan kualitas mekanik (kuat tarik, elongasi, laju transmisi uap air, kecerahan, dan ketebalan) dan daya hambat. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan analisa ragam (ANOVA), jika ada beda nyata dilanjut uji BNT 5%. Edible film terbaik pada pelakuan kombinasi penambahan konsentrasi gliserol 8% dan penambahan konsentrasi ekstrak daun beluntas 20% dengan kuat tarik 9,35 N/cm2; elongasi 13,34 %; laju transmisi uap air 3.60x10-6 g/cm2/24 jam; kecerahan 65,15; ketebalan 0,045 mm dan daya hambat 5,92 mm. Pengujian pada fillet ikan nila menunjukkan bahwa edible film belum dapat melindungi fillet ikan nila yang telah ditentukan dalam SNI 7388:2009.Kata kunci: antibakteri, edible film, ekstrak daun beluntas, gliserol AbstractThe aim of this research is to know the effect of glycerol concentration and beluntas leaves extract and the combination of glycerol concentration and the right beluntas leaves extract to produce an antibacterial edible film having precise mechanical and inhibitory properties. The study used a Randomized Block Design of 2 factors, which the factor 1 concentration of glycerol (8%, 10% and 20%) and factor 2, beluntas leaves extract (20%, 25%, and 30%) were repeated 2 times. Mechanical quality observation (tensile strength, elongation, moisture transmission rate, brightness, and thickness) and inhibitory power. The data obtained were processed by analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there is real difference then continued BNT 5% test. Edible film is best in combination treatment of 8% glycerol concentration addition and addition of extract leaves extract of beluntas 20% with tensile strength 9.35 N / cm2; Elongation 13.34%; Water vapor transmission rate 3.60x10-6 g/cm2/24 hours; Brightness 65.15; Thickness of 0.045 mm and 5.92 mm inhibition. AbstrakRendemen tebu umumnya ditetapkan berdasarkan nilai rendemen sementara (RS) yang tidak akurat dan rumit bagi petani. Pendugaan rendemen tebu dengan metode biolistrik, berpeluang dikembangkan menjadi solusi yang mudah, praktis, dan cepat. Akan tetapi belum terstandarnya teknik persiapan sampel untuk pengukuran sifat biolistrik tebu masih menjadi kendala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan standar pengukuran sifat biolistrik dan memilih sifat biolistrik yang paling berkontribusi digunakan untuk prediksi rendemen tebu. Pengukuran biolistrik (impedansi, konstanta dielektrik, dan kapasitansi) dilakukan dengan variasi panjang sampel tebu, dan frekuensi pengukuran. Sebagai tambahan, pengaruh temperatur lingkungan juga dipertimbangkan sebagai faktor koreksi. Hasil pengukuran kemudian dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional pengukuran rendemen tebu. Dari hasil eksperimen direkomendasikan standar persiapan sampel tebu yakni dengan ukuran panjang 3 cm dan frekuensi pengukuran 1000 Hz untuk pengukuran sifat biolistrik tebu. Nilai kapasitansi berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai rendemen direkomendasikan sebagai variabel untuk mengembangkan pengukuran cepat rendemen tebu. Prediction of sugarcane yield with bioelectric method have a potential to be developed as an easy, handy, and quick solution. However, unstandardized sample preparation techniques to measure bioelectrical of sugarcane still become a problem. This research aim is to determine measurement standard for bioelectric properties and select the most important properties for sugarcane yield prediction. Bioelectric properties (impedance, dielectric constant, and capacitance) measurement was carried out with variation of sample length and measurement frequency. Additionally, the effect of ambient temperature also considered as a correction factor. The results then was compared with the conventional method. The result recommend a preparation standard of sugarcane sample length is 3 cm with measurement frequency of 1000 Hz to measure the bioelectrical properties of sugarcane. The capacitance value correlated significantly to the yield that is recommeded as variable to develop rapid measurement of sugarcane yield.Keywords: Sugarcane, bioelectrical properties, dielectric method, rapid measurement, yield

AbstrakPT Supa Surya Niaga adalah perusahaan pangan di Gedangan, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur dengan produk utama kacang mete olahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efisiensi pemasok Kediri, pemasok Madura, pemasok Nusa Tenggara Barat dan perusahaan pada rantai pasok kacang mete PT Supa Surya Niaga pada tahun 2014, menganalisis variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap nilai efisiensi, serta mengevaluasi nilai target hasil potential improvement yang harus dipertahankan masing-masing variabel input. Metode yang digunakan adalah Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model DEA-CCR (Charnes, Cooper & Rhodes) orientasi input dengan variabel input yaitu cash-to-cash cycle time, lead time, biaya rantai pasok, serta fleksibilitas. Variabel output yang digunakan adalah kesesuaian standar, pemenuhan pesanan, kinerja pengiriman, dan pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai efisiensi rantai pasok untuk pemasok Kediri 93,675%, pemasok Madura 91,842%, pemasok Nusa Tenggara Barat 96,875%, serta untuk perusahaan 94,708% sehingga nilai efisiensi untuk rantai pasok kacang mete di PT Supa Surya Niaga tahun 2014 secara keseluruhan yaitu 94,275%.Variabel input yang paling berpengaruh terhadap nilai efisiensi rantai pasok kacang mete untuk pemasok Kediri adalah cash-to-cash cycle time, pemasok Madura dan Nusa Tenggara Barat yaitu variabel input lead time, sedangkan untuk rantai pasok perusahaan adalah biaya. Nilai target hasil potential improvement variabel input cash-to-cash cycle time, lead time dan fleksibilitas secara berurutan untuk pemasok Kediri yaitu 5, 7 dan 3 hari; Pemasok Madura yaitu 5, 7 dan 3 hari; Pemasok Nusa Tenggara Barat yaitu 7, 14 dan 7 hari; Perusahaan 5, 6 dan 5 hari sedangkan variabel input biaya untuk rantai pasok perusahaan adalah Rp1.225.537.523,07. This study aimed to determine the efficiency of Kediri supplier, Madura Supplier, West Nusa Tenggara Supplier and the company itself in the cashew supply chain at PT Supa Surya Niaga in 2014, analyze the variables that most influence on the efficiency, and evaluate the target value from potential improvement that should be maintained by input variable. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)-CCR (Charnes, Cooper & Rhodes method with input oriented was used in this study. Input variables used in this study were cash-to-cash cycle time, lead time, supply chain cost and flexibility, meanwhile the output variables were standards conformance, order fulfillment, delivery performance and revenue. The result of study showed that the efficiency of Kediri supplier, Madura supplier, West Nusa Tenggara supplier, and the company itself were 93.675%, 91.842%, 96.875%, and 94.708% respectively. Overall, cashews supply chain efficiency at PT Supa Surya Niaga 2014 is 94.275%. The most influence Input variable on the efficiency were cash-to-cash cycle time for Kediri Supplier, lead time for Madura and West Nusa Tenggara supplier, and cost for the company. The target value from potential improvement of input variables cash-to-cash cycle time, lead time and flexibility in sequence for Kediri suppliers are 5, 7 and 3 days; Madura suppliers are 5, 7 and 3 days; West Nusa Tenggara Suppliers are 7, 14 and 7 days; The company supply chain is 5, 6 and 5 days while the input cost variable for the company is Rp1.225.537.523.07.Keywords: cashew, efficiency, supply chain

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi efektifitas dan efisiensi peralatan berbasis website di PT Kediri Matahari Corn Mills yang dapat memberikan informasi tentang nilai persentase efektivitas, efisiensi, dan six big losses peralatan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas peralatan dan menentukan persentase six big losses peralatan yang diukur. Metode Overall Input Efficiency (OIE) digunakan untuk mengukur efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya peralatan yang dilanjutkan dengan Total Equipment Efficiency (TEE) yang merupakan total keseluruhan efisiensi dari input dan output peralatan. Rancangan sistem informasi ini menggunakan Waterfall Model dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sistem informasi yang dapat memberikan informasi efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan peralatan dengan cepat dan akurat sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem ini menghasilkan informasi berupa daftar peralatan, data produksi, downtime peralatan, hasil OEE, hasil Six Big Losses dan informasi efisiensi peralatan. Sistem ini memudahkan pengguna dalam mengakses informasi efektivitas dan efisiensi peralatan di PT Kediri Matahari Corn Mills. Informasi dapat diakses dengan akurat dalam periode bulanan sehingga memudahkan pengguna dalam mengambil keputusan berkaitan dengan efektivitas dan efisiensi peralatan di PT Kediri Matahari Corn Mills.Kata kunci: efektivitas, efisiensi, sistem informasi, waterfall modelÂ AbstractThe purpose of this research is to design web-based equipment effectiveness and efficiency information system at PT Kediri Matahari Corn Mills which can give information about percentage value of effectiveness, efficiency, and six big losses of equipment. In this study, the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method is used to measure the effectiveness of equipment and determine the percentage of six big losses of measured equipment. The Overall Input Efficiency (OIE) method is used to measure the efficiency of resource usage of equipment and than followed by Total Equipment Efficiency (TEE) which is the total efficiency of input and output equipment. This information system design uses Waterfall Model with PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result obtained an information system that can provide information on the effectiveness and efficiency of the equipment quickly and accurately in accordance with user needs. The system produces information in the form of equipment lists, production data, equipment downtime, OEE results, Six Big Losses and equipment efficiency information.
