Abstract

Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that overlay the computer generated image on real world object. AR has been implemented in various fields and one of the fields is edutainment-based game. Edutainment-based game is a game designed to make the learning process become more fun. Among the edutainment gameplay genre such as tile-matching, action puzzles, traditional puzzle games, and hidden object. However, there are still a lack of edutainment gameplay that utilizes AR technology for hidden object game genre. The hidden object game in the market today does not use 3D scene as their background. Therefore, the objective of this project is to develop an AR edutainment game in 3D scene view by using hidden object puzzle genre. This edutainment game can be used as an alternative edutainment teaching aids in kindergarten and primary school. Player’s enjoyment is measured based on the evaluation of user acceptance level towards the gameplay, functionality and performance level. Results of user testing shows that 67% of the total respondents strongly agreed that this game is enjoying to be played. In addition, there are 53% of the respondents agreed that the game is stable when being played in a mobile device. Next, there are 67% of the respondents agreed that the presentation of the information and instruction are clear.

Abstract

SQL injection happened in electronic records in database and it is still exist even after two decades since it first happened. Most of the web-based applications are still vulnerable to the SQL injection attacks. Although technology had improved a lot during these past years, but, hackers still can find holes to perform the SQL injection. There are many methods for this SQL injection to be performed by the hackers and there is also plenty of prevention for the SQL injection to be happened. The vulnerability to SQL injection is very big and this is definitely a huge threat to the web based application as the hackers can easily hacked their system and obtains any data and information that they wanted anytime and anywhere. This paper can conclude that several proposed techniques from existing journal papers used for preventing SQL injection. Then, it comes out with Blockchain concept to prevent SQL injection attacks on database management system (DBMS) via IP.

Abstract

Generally, the existing store management system does not provide any access control mechanism in order to manage resources. All levels of user have the same right to access the store and borrow the equipment. Therefore, the E-Store management system using Bell-LaPadula access control model was proposed. The prototyping methodology was used to develop the system because methodology model is quickly constructed to test or illustrate design features and ideas, in order to gather user feedback. Moreover, the system is built using hypertext processor (PHP) language. The E-Store system has three types of users, which are known as top management of Welding Department, lecturers and students. The user’s access control is divided by high-level privilege to lower-level privilege. Therefore, each user will have different login interface according to their role and access right to the system. Through the system, high-level user manages in and out equipment flow, manages authorization, view history log in activity and verify complaint report. Lower-level user can view list of equipment, report complaint and damage equipment and borrow equipment. The E-Store management system is expected to manage the store effectively and reduced redundancy issues of equipment requested. The user access right has been assigned based on their access level.

Abstract

Nowadays, social network plays a vital role in communication. Normally user used social networks in daily activities. However, this left all online users susceptible to misuse and abuse. Recently, there has been a remarkable growth in number of hacking as well. Once the computer is online, anyone can have access to the network. Therefore, we proposed a secure social network site called SocialBook where users can post status, photos and connect with friends. This system is developed using PHP programming language and Iterative and Incremental Development methodology.  The purpose of developing this system is to solve unsecured login accounts and lack of user authentication problem. This system applies the secret question procedure when the user wants to change their account password. Moreover, SocialBook use idle session timeout mechanism for additional security. When the user is idle for ten minutes, they will be logged out automatically. So, the user will be less worry about their account from being hacked and the identity impersonation by unauthorized user.

Abstract

Under some circumstances, hospitals and clinics need to know the preliminary patient’s disease categorization, such as H1N1, Dengue, HIV/AIDS and others. However, categorizing patients will be useful in the future if the hospitals  properly recorded their patient criteria and crucial details such as patient’s name, symptoms, temperature and others. There are many benefits by grouping the patients together such as the hospitals will know how to provide an appropriate medicine to the patient, which patient will get the highest priority and should be quarantined.  It is very important to know how to group the patients by using their symptoms detected. This study will focus on patients with cancer problems using Jaccard index and Venn diagram techniques. Their data will be collected from a hospital and the patients are selected randomly. Patients with lungs, brain and breast cancer will be selected in this study.

Abstract

Technologies are advancing at incredible speed with great purposes. Unfortunately, as technologies grow, some people have lost their motivation to keep up with their health by neglecting their physical activities like sports, outdoor games, etc. There are less people willing to step outside to do physical activities especially those which requires companions or members. We cannot deny the fact that there are still people who are willing to come out and do sports in a group. However, most of the time they do not have enough members to conduct the sport. This situation can lead to discouragement and stopping them from doing any more sports activity just because of insufficient team member. The Sports Team Finder is a mobile application that helps the students in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) to reach other people who has the same intention, i.e., to get team members. Students can use this application to find team members for team-oriented games such as basketball, football, netball, etc. The aim is to design an application where it motivate users to engage other people through sports and meeting new friends along the way. The application is able to function properly and successfully gather users with similar interest together. It has shown that the application has caused an improvement of sport involvement among students in UTHM.

Abstract

Login is one of the important security features in online banking. This research investigates the mechanism for an existing online banking in Malaysia including the design of the login mechanism, the encryption algorithm used for the password  and the security level of the login mechanism. This research provides a result of analyzing data between five online banking in terms of their security features. These analyzing data will be used for proposing secure password encryption in online banking. The mathematic is used to evaluate the security level for these secure login applications. Output from the mathematical analysis is the probability that the adversary may break the security of login application.

Abstract

Threats and viruses are particularly alarming for children with low immunization levels. Pneumococcal disease is the world's most important cause of child death and has claimed many lives. Since awareness of the dangers of Pneumococcal viruses among parents is low in Malaysia, preventive measures such as vaccine intake cannot be done comprehensively. Hence, in order to communicate information about Pneumococcal disease, a pneumococcal disease diagnosis system for children is developed. This system employs expert system method and apply forward chaining technique for its reasoning. Knowledge base of the system is stored in the database for data management. This alternative system allows access to information as well as early diagnosis of early symptoms can be detected. This system is expected to benefit users in terms of knowledge sharing, and self-checking on their body condition, especially parents, to prevent any possible diseases that may infect children's.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an interactive system that can visualize evidence collected from Android smartphone data. This project is developing to support forensic investigator in investigating the security incidents particularly involving Android smartphone forensic data. The used of smartphone in crime was widely recognized. Several types of personnel information are stored in their smartphones. When the investigator analyses the image data of the smartphone, the investigator can know the behaviour of the smartphone’s owner and his social relationship with other people. The analysis of smartphone forensic data is cover in mobile device forensic. Mobile device forensics is a branch of digital forensics relating to recovery of digital evidence from a mobile device under forensically sound condition. The digital investigation model used in this project is the model proposed by United States National Institute of Justice (NIJ) which consists four phases, which are collection phase, examination phase, analysis phase and presentation phase. This project related with analysis phase and presentation phase only. This paper introduces Visroid, a new tool that provides a suite of visualization for Android smartphone data.

Abstract

Kohonen Network is an unsupervised learning which forms clusters from patterns that share common features and group similar patterns together. This network are commonly uses grids of artificial neurons which connected to all the inputs. This paper presents an exploratory study of Kohonen Neural Network to classify human health state. Neural Connection tool is used to generate the result based on Kohonen learning algorithm. Procedural steps are provided to assist the implementation of the Kohonen Network. The result shows that side 2 is more appropriate for this problem with efficient learning rate 1.0. It gives good distribution for training and test patterns. Study to the variation of dataset’s size will be considered in the near future to evaluate the performance of the network.
