Abstract

Oka Rusmini is one of the Indonesian women writers from Bali. His figure and works are phenomenal and often controversial because they raise a number of issues of old-fashioned Balinese customs and traditions that are detrimental to women, especially in the griya environment, home of the Brahmins. This study aims to describe the form and meaning of myths about women in 'Akar Pule' by Oka Rusmini. The form of myth contained in 'Root Pule' by Oka Rusmini consists of two fields, namely the field of anthropology and sociology. Both fields of myth are closely related to women. the form of myth in the field of anthropology is closely related to the rituals that must be performed by women, while in the field of sociology the form of myths closely related to women is a curse, a jinxed bearer.

Abstract

Terdapat aspek-aspek keterampilan bahasa dalam proses pembalajaran. Aspek-aspek keterampilan bahasa itu harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik. Keterampilan berbahasa yang dimaksud yaitu, keterampilan menulis, keterampilan mendengarkan atau menyimak, keterampilan membaca, dan keterampilam berbicara. Aspek-aspek keterampilan berbahasa sebagai tolak ukur dalam pembelajaran. Keberhasilan proses pembelajaran bisa ditinjau pada hasil belajar siswa di sekolah. Hasil belajar diartikan sebagai capaian prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan kriteria. Kriteria merupakan patokan atau acuan untuk mencapai nilai di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis nilai siswa dalam menulis cerita pribadi kelas XII semester I SMA MA Bustanul Arifin Lukguluk Tramok kecamatan Kokop kabupaten Bangkalan sebelum menggunakan media audio visual hasilnya lebih banyak siswa yang mendapatkan nilai 0-70 adalah 23 siswa dengan kriteria kurang baik sedangkan yang mendapatkan nilai 71-100 berjumlah 3 orang dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah mengadakan tes tulis yang kedua menggunakan audio visual pada cerita peribadi siswa kelas XII semester I MA Bustanul Arifin Lukguluk Tramok kecamatan Kokop kabupaten Bangkalan yang mendapat nilai 70-80 berjumlah 4 siswa, nilai 81-90 sebanyak 14 orang dengan kriteria baik, dan siswa yang mendapat nilai 91-100 6 siswa.

Abstract

Setiap iklan pasti mempunyai makna yang tersembunyi, lewat hubungan antara tanda (sign), penanda (signifier), dan petanda (signified) akan menuntun kita ke arah makna yang tersembunyi di dalam sebuah iklan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merasa perlu untuk melakukan kajian mengenai semiotika iklan produk mi instan Indomie dari segi pemaknaan tanda, yaitu representamen. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, maka permasalahan yang muncul dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana representamen, dalam iklan Indomie. Berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskribsikan representamen iklan Indomie. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan didukung oleh teori dan referensi semiotika Charles Sanders Pears. Sumber datanya berupa iklan Indomie. Data penelitiannya adalah keseluruhan data baik kata atau kalimat yang terdapat dalam sumber data. Penelitian ini menghasilkan makna hubungan pemaknaan tanda dalam iklan produk mie instan Indomie, yaitu (1) representamen dalam iklan Indomie.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tiga hal yaitu, 1) tradisi kesusastraan pada generasi kedua sastrawan Bangkalan, 2) mendeskripsikan tokoh sastra pada generasi kedua dan kiprahnya dalam perkembangan sastra Bangkalan, dan 3) mendeskripsikan ide dan gagasan sastrawan generasi kedua yang tercermin dalam karya-karya mereka. Pendekatan yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini pendekatan penelitian kualitatif interpretif. Subjek penelitian adalah tokoh seniman sastra dan seniman lain di Bangkalan. Objek berupa data primer karya sastra dan hasil-hasil penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu wawancara dan studi dokumen. Analisis dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu deskriptif dan analisis isi. Dari proses diperoleh hasil penelitian yang meliputi tiga hal. Pertama, latar belakang tradisi yang melahirkan sastra generasi kedua yaitu tradisi bersastra yang dilatari kegiatan dalam komunitas seni terutama teater. Kedua, tokoh-tokoh generasi kedua dipelopori oleh Suro Wahono dengan Teater Mutiara kemudian dilanjutkan oleh M. Helmy Prasetya yang mendirikan Komunitas Masyarakat Lumpur dan R. Timur Budi Raja yang mendirikan Komunitas Bawah Arus. Ide sastrawan generasi kedua sebagaimana ditunjukkan karyanya menunjukkan bahwa generasi ini dominan menyampaikan ide mereka dengan menggunakan corak romantisme.

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan suplemen bagi peserta didik maupun mahasiswa di universitas atau perguruan tinggi dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar. Bahan ajar berkaitan dengan kurikulum karena penyusunannya harus berdasarkan standar proses yang tercantum dalam kurikulum. Kurikulum KKNI (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia) masih belum terealisasi pada setiap perguruan tinggi, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari minimnya buku ajar yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar .Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan pengembangan buku ajar mahasiswa/mahasiswi yang berisi ulasan materi dan tugas-tugas. Buku ajar yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini akan berupa buku ajar keterampilan membaca dengan materi, penyajian, kebahasaan dan kegrafikaan yang layak digunakan sehingga memudahkan mahasiswa atau mahasiswi dalam pembelajaran dan memenuhi kebutuhan bahan ajar terkait penerapan Kurikulum KKNI. Penelitian ini diorientasikan pada penelitian pengembangan buku ajar cetak dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D sebagai langkah penerapan kurikulum KKNI. Model 4-D (four D) ini terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate, atau diadaptasikan menjadi model 4-P yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Buku ajar yang disusun berisi materi-materi dan evaluasi-evaluasi mengacu standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasar Kurikulum KKNI. Kualitas dari segi isi/materi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikaan akan disesuaikan dengan standar penyusunan buku teks Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP). Buku ajar yang disusun diujicobakan sebelum dilakukan penyebarluasan dan diproduksi secara massal di lingkungan STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. Buku ajar dinyatakan layak jika kualitas dan keefektifan mendapatkan hasil positif.

Abstract

Madurese poets in quality and quantity have been recognized as one of the sources of wealth of Indonesian literary treasures. This is evidenced by some evidence of the achievements of Madurese poets who received many awards. Like Abdul Hadi WM, D Zawawi Imron, Jamal D Rahman. The poetry in the interests of this research was then used as a data source. Research on the works of their poets through the Humanistic Aesthetic concept Hans Georg Gadamer gave birth to findings that in poetry Madurese poets were found bildung, census communis, practical considerations, and different tastes. Aside from being a form of learning, another reason that encourages researchers to conduct a study of the poems of Madurese poets, namely the attempt to traditionalize the culture of poets who come from Madura. Especially the problem of poetry that leads to the character of each poet.

Abstract

Poetry is an expression of feeling from the experience of imagination, expressed in the form of kias in various types, according to the imagination of each poet. In this era, poetry is increasingly in demand by the public. In the past, poetry was probably only sought after by poets who had indeed been in literature for years. But nowadays, with the presence of Indonesian Language subjects in schools both at the Elementary School, First Level, Upper Level, to Higher Education and extracurricular activities in schools, so many students are interested in producing a work through writing poetry. By being embraced by a community or independent, they start working. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of poems contained in the Bangkalan Young Poet Collections of Poetry in accordance with the poetry classification. This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source of this research is the Collection of Poetry of the Bangkalan Poet Family, published by the Komunitas Masyarakat Lumpur, in 2017. The method of data collection and analysis used in this study is a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, while data analysis techniques use content analysis techniques. The findings of the data on the type of poetry of the young Bangkalan poet in the poetry collection of the Bangkalan Poet Family, the types of poetry used are new poetry and contemporary poetry. In the new poem, the type of poetry used is predominantly form-based poetry. Whereas in contemporary poetry, the type of poetry used is more dominant in word play, both repeated words and counter-words, besides typography is also used by young Bangkalan poets in an effort to strengthen poetry's meaning or sound through typography.

Abstract

This article is motivated by the conditions of Bangkalan poeters who after a long time did not produce female writers, in the fourth generation emerged through the work of five female poets. This presents a research problem question 1) What is the history of women's writing in Bangkalan? and 2) What are the dominant themes raised by the Bangkalan female poet in their poetry? The research method uses two methods, namely descriptive analysis method and content analysis method. From the results of the study, two discussions can be produced in accordance with the research problem. Historically it can be discussed that women's art activists have existed since the third generation. They did not produce enough writing to become a book. Based on the content of the theme, poetry with the theme of love dominates. In general, social themes are also dominant in their writing.

Abstract

This research is for study aims to test the problem-based learning model to improve the ability to write exposition and critical thinking skills. This research was conducted to find out the right model of learning to improve the ability to write expository text and critical thinking ability. The research method used in this research is quasi-experiment research method. The design of this research is quasi-experimental design. Based on the research findings it can be concluded that learning to write exposition text is considered difficult learning. In addition, students' interest in this text is low because writing expository texts is considered unpleasant. The structure and rules of exposition texts in this study include six aspects, namely (1) the title produced reflects the exposition text; (2) completeness of the text structure (thesis, argumentation, and reaffirmation); (3) the development of ideas is inductive and/or deductive; (4) the accuracy of the use of linguistic principles; (5) the presentation of arguments coherently in accordance with the theme; (6) conclusions in accordance with the arguments presented. After being treated in the form of application of problem-based learning model in the experimental class, learners have improved the ability to write expository texts and critical thinking skills when compared with control classes that are given learning in advance.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the vocabulary segments of the Kangean dialect of the Madurese language. The linguistic phenomenon in the islands is unique and is supported by historical, demographic, and sociocultural aspects of population heterogeneity (Madura, Java, Bali, Bajo, and Mandar). Cultural acculturation has given rise to linguistic aspects in Kepualau Kangean which has its own style, namely the Madura language of the Kangean dialect which is different from the three dialects in the relic areas such as Sumenep, Pamekasan, and Bangkalan. The Kangean dialect is also different from fourteen other dialects in East Java. The question in this study is how do the forms of vocabulary in the Madurese language of the Kangean dialect? Data collection uses the documentation method with recording and recording techniques. The data analysis method used is a descriptive comparative method with dialectometric techniques and isogloss files. The results showed that there were 13 vocoid segments, the whole could represent phonetics, but from these 13 phonetics only six could represent themselves as phonemists, namely /a/ /i/ /u/ /e/ /o/ dan /ǝ/ The phonetic 13th form is [a, ɐ, ã, i, ɪ, e, ɛ, έ, u, o, ɔ, ɔ̃, ǝ]
