Abstract

Electricity has been proven from the activities carried out by everyday people. The use of electricity ranging from household appliances such as refrigerator, fan, iron, mixer, rice cooker to communication tools such as mobile phones, laptops and various other electronic devices desperately need electrical energy. The use of electricity today is the only thing that matters in people's lives. Batam is one of the major cities in Indonesia. The densely populated areas in Batam are the Batam Center area. Population density will also require electrical energy to be very high. Company as energy provider in Batam city is PT PLN Batam (b'right). If the population is not wise in using electricity, of course, will greatly affect the depletion of energy preparation lstrik in Batam City itself. Therefore, techniques are needed to make predictions in the use of household appliances for the purpose of the government in list listing program. Techniques in making predictions can use data mining techniques by classifying data using C4.5 algorithm. Results from calculation Algorithm C4.5 Formation of decision tree where variable number of family members, Building area and length of time at home. Testing done with Weka has produced the same rule from the result tree that formed.

Abstract

Batampos is the largest daily newspaper in riau islands spread from batam island, tanjung pinang, natuna even to singapore and malaysia. Along with the development of information technology and communications batampos also make a web site batampos newspaper to continue to provide convenience for its readers. The purpose of this research is to know how far the quality of Batampos website based on end user perception so that batampos site can increase the number of visitors and competition with similar website. This research method uses WebQual 4.0 that focuses on three main components namely usability, information quality and service interaction quality. Data collection method using primary data in the form of questionnaires distributed online amounted to 200 responden. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis with statistical calculations with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 22. Based on data processing can be seen that the user perception of Quality Usability, Information Quality, Service Interaction Quality independently have a positive and significant impact on user satisfaction

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of people's literature one of which is packed in the form of folklore. One of the folklore in Riau Province is Batu Belah Batu Betangkup. Many people who do not know how the story in detail and public interest to know the story of the people is still very lacking. Many people today especially the younger generation only know the stories and figures from films coming from abroad. To overcome the above problems, then made a folklore film that is packed in the form of 3D animation. Folklore taken is a folktale that comes from the province of Riau is the folklore of Batu Belah Batu Betangkup. 3D animation film has a duration of about 20 minutes. The technique used in this 3D animated film is Cinematographic Technique, where the technique is used to capture the image and combine the image into one so as if the image is moving. Based on the results of testing and analysis, this film managed to recapture the public interest to know the folklore, the level of public knowledge about this folklore has increased significantly. Truth stories and cinematography techniques in 3D animation has been verified by experts.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has led people more easily to connect with each other and provide value added in the form of efficiency and effectiveness that produce something for meeting purposes, record customer complaints, answer customer questions, convey information to customers, provide warranty, and seek profit by this utilization. The reason for the audit of SI in this study is PT. Boga Dimsum Indonesia where the company needs an audit on the inventory and accounting intregrated system because there is an error in the purchase application. In this research, the method used is qualitative research method that is research about descriptive research and tend to use analysis. The purpose of the audit is to know whether the information technology governance applied by PT. Boga Dimsum Indonesia has gone well. The research consists of 4 stages: planning, Field Work, Reporting, Follow Up. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the IT functions contained in PT. Boga Dimsum Indonesia is not yet optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to build a decision support system (DSS), that is used to recommend a place of Industrial Practice (in Indonesia known as PRAKERIN) for students who will plunge into the world of industrial world (DUDI). The reason why this research is raised is due to the frequent difficulties faced by students in determining which location suits their needs. In this research, location selection is calculated using weighted product (WP) method. WP method is one of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method that can solve one dimensional and multi dimensional problems. From the results of research conducted found that the WP method can help determine the location prakerin for students, so for students it is very helpful to them in determining prakerin location in accordance with the criteria specified.

Abstract

Internet merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dari masyarakat, terutama dikalangan dunia pendidikan dan akademisi seperti Perguruan Tinggi. Tingginya tingkat pengguna internet tidak sebanding dengan fasilitas yang dimiliki suatu instansi, hal ini membuat pengelola jaringan internet di Perguruan Tinggi merasa kesulitan. Penyebab dari permasalahan yang selalu menjadi masalah adalah kecepatan dan koneksi internet yang selalu terputus-putus, sehingga berdampak pada lambatnya proses loading data pada saat melakukan browsing, baik pada saat proses download maupun pada saat proses upload. Untuk pengaturan agar pengguna internet di wilayah kampus seimbang dan stabil maka perlu manajemen bandwidth berdasarkan traffic penggunaan jalur internet lebih baik. Manajemen bandwidth yang bisa menstabilkan lajur traffic dan pembagian bandwidth yang seimbang, maka dapat menggunakan manajemen bandwidth dengan metode Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB). Hasil perhitungan dalam pengujian metode HTB melalui download berkas, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh berdasarkan standar kategori TIPHON untuk indeks parameter throughtput bernilai 2 dengan kategori “Sedang”, indeks parameter delay bernilai 4 dengan kategori “Sangat Bagus”, indeks parameter jitter bernilai 3 dengan kategori “Bagus” dan indeks parameter packet loss bernilai 4 dengan kategori “Sangat Bagus”.

Abstract

Many pets can be played with, socialize and even live together with humans. Numbers of animal clinics have increased to provide care for pets. This study focuses on Dog as pet. Desease and improper treatment of dog will adversely affect the Dog. In dealing with the problem of Dog disease, Dog owners may experience difficulties due to limited number of clinics and veterinarians, especially in rural areas. As a solution, Artificial Intelligence is used by using expert systems that can help inexperienced medical personnel diagnose early symptoms of Dog disease. The search method used in this research is Forward Chaining and Bayes Theorem method to handle uncertainties that arised. Based on knowledge acquisition, 3 diseases were obtained with 38 simptoms and 60 cases. Based on the tests conducted then obtained the sensitivity value of 80%, the value of accuracy of 88.6% indicates that this expert system is able to diagnose dog diseasesKeywords: Dog, Expert System, Forward Chaining, Bayes Theorem.

Abstract

The organization of a political party is one organization that must have an organizational structure. Each cadre who sits in the structure must have skills that match his field. The goal is for the organization to grow better. For each cadre to occupy the appropriate structure, identification must be performed. The method used to identify is Profile Matching on the data of each prospective member. Based on the test results obtained cadre with a special aspect of 60% and the general aspect of 40% is the right one. Then this method is suiTabel to be used in identifying cadres who will occupy positions in organizational structure.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to predict the outcome of student's competency exam of the medical profession (UKMPPD) using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). Data obtained from the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Riau’s student database in 2015 which amounted to 170 data. Input variables were membership status, length of study, and grade point average. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using MATLAB software by setting the number of membership function 2 2 2 and Gbell membership function. The results showed that the method is able to predict the outcome of UKMPPD with Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE) 0.07%, minimum 0.00%, and maximum 0.44%.

Abstract

According to how soccer robot movement is controlled, approaches in soccer robot can be divided into two categories, namely centralized and decentralized. Centralized approach is an example of control over network concept where devices are controlled over the network. Each robot obtains information from a vision system outside the robot to detect the ball, and the central computer makes decision on which robot to approach and kick the ball. Wireless communication between robot and central computer must be reliable. One of the most important components in soccer robot is the ball kicking mechanism, which has to be able to kick the ball accurately. The wireless communication system is developed with a WeMos D1 microcontroller. Ball kicking mechanism is developed using solenoid circuit controlled by the microcontroller. Testing showed that wireless communication system has 100% reliability when operated in range up to 300cm. The ball kicking mechanism was able to respond accurately to ball kicking command when the robot is stationary and moving. When the robot is stationary, average kicking distance of the ball is 42.22cm and average tilt angle is 29.58°. When robot is moving, average kicking distance is 40.98cm and average tilt angle is 26.12°.
