Abstract

SMAN 10 Padang is one of the leading schools in the city of Padang State School which has two majors, namely Science (Science Knowledge) and Social Sciences (Social Sciences). A distinctive feature of this school is one of the international standard pilot schools (RSBI) by implementing bilingual and accelerating classes. On average students lack understanding in the selection of majors according to their abilities. Many people fail in the way they have found. To facilitate the determination of majors, a Decision Making System (SPK) is needed to find criteria. In SPK there are several methods in searching criteria, which are usually used by SAW with MFED. Based on the research carried out, by comparing the two methods, the data are grouped into three criteria, namely the value of the Natural Sciences National Examination, Psychology tests, and Interests. The results of this study show about MFEP method take a high accuration between SAW. An accuration of SAW have 38.3 % and MFEP have 70.5%.

Abstract

Credit is one of the common practices that provide benefits for financial or non-financial institutions. However on the other hand, aid loans also have higher risks if the institutions give the wrong decision in giving a loan. Credit Scoring is one of techniques that can determine whether it is feasible to given a loan or not. The selection of a credit scoring model greatly determines the value in classifying credit that is feasible or not to giving a loan. Decision Support System (DSS) is one system that can be used to overcome this problem. The advantages of DSS are being able to overcome the problems that have semi-structured and unstructured data. In this study, DSS was supported by using Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation method and TOPSIS method to find the priority for seeking eligibility. Accuracy results obtained in this study reached 98,69% with the number of iteration is 300, the number of training data is 30, neuron hidden 12 and error tolerance is 0.001. TOPSIS method succeeded in ranking 185 data selected as recipients of credit. Keywords:Credit Scoring, Decision Support System (DSS), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Backpropagation, TOPSIS.

Abstract

Guitar is a popular musical instrument in the world and is a metronome for every use in various music events and its correlation. As a metronome, the guitar must be well standardized on the quality of each part so that sound that comes in line with the user's expectations in this case is the guitarist. Damage to the guitar is something normal because of its intense use so it needs proper handling in the repair process. The easiest thing is to bring a broken guitar to the experts, but when there are not many guitar service experts or a long enough distance to reach it, then guitar repairs need to be done immediately. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system that can act as a tutor in the maintenance and repair of guitars by utilizing artificial intelligence embedded in the system. With the help of artificial intelligence, it is expected that the system can assist in the decision making of guitar technicians in the process of making guitar repair decisions based on the symptoms that occur. Decision making used uses the certainty factor method based on certainty factors. After going through the equivalence partitioning testing process, in general this system produces a total percentage of 100% on the success of the item test by experts in the testing process of the 25 items tested. Thus the application meets the requirements for making the program, which is readable and valid.

Abstract

Image results from quality edge detection are not optimal. From these problems a method is needed to improve the image quality of edge detection. The method used is Dilation Morphology on the results of edge detection of batik patterns. The results of testing the improved image quality of edge detection 10 batik patterns using Dilation Morphology show that Canny operators are able to produce very high accuracy from operators Robert and Sobel, with the percentage of Canny operators is 80%. While Robert operators with a percentage of 40% and Sobel operators 60%. The application of Dilation Morphology to operators Robert, Sobel and Canny can improve image quality of edge detection and improve accuracy in batik patterns.

Abstract

Scholarships are one of the factors that can increase learning motivation for students. This scholarship is one of the school programs to help parents of students to ease the burden of education costs of the students. In determining the scholarship recipients who meet the requirements and eligibility at the MA Raudlatul Ulum a decision support system is using the Weighted Product method. Decision making in the Weighted Product method is done by multiplication to connect the rating of each attribute, where the rating of each attribute must be raised by the weight of the attribute in question. In this study there are several criteria used in decision making, namely Average Value, Behavior, Extracurricular, Parent Income, and Dependents of Parents. The research carried out begins with determining the weight of each criterion, then the ranking process is carried out which will produce the most optimal alternative. Based on the results of testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the system is able to provide accuracy of 90% if compared with the results of testing manually.

Abstract

Family Tracking is a mobile application that utilizes GPS technology to find out the location of each family member. There are several features such as the activity schedule, group chat, and the supervision area added by parents to the child's activity schedule. This application was developed with hybrid approach using Ionic 3 Framework development tools with support of Firebase backend. With the hybrid approach can produce multi-platform applications using the same source code. In this research the application was developed for the Android and iOS platforms. Based on functionality testing in accordance with ISO 9126-2 standards, that all features and functions contained in the application run well on both platforms. Then based on the application performance testing on each device that has the same benchmark value, the application can run stablen iOS devices but has the highest memory usage compared to Android devices with an average difference of 33.81mb. And then applications on iOS devices have lower CPU usage than Android devices, with differences in usage averaging 18.79%. Then based on the results of interviews to get user feedback, the results show that the application can running well and function as expected on Android and iOS devices.

Abstract

In the era of technological advancements, security systems are not only required to provide safe conditions but also provide easy access, monitors and remote control. Room insecurity such as theft or fire cases can occur especially in rooms that are not equipped with security systems and special safeguards. Based on this, it is necessary to develop a security system that can be accessed and monitored remotely and provides early warning of early indications of danger through a smartphone. System development is done through the stages of making software and hardware. The hardware consists of Arduino Mega 2560 to regulate the system, MySQL Server Database, CC3000 Wi-Fi Shield as a communication device between Arduino and the server, Limit Switch to detect forced push on the door, MQ-2 measures the presence of indoor gas leak, sensor DHT-11 to measure room temperature, the camera is VC0706 to capture images in the door area. Android application as a system interface to change key status and monitor the condition of the room. A warning notification of the gas leak danger indication is sent to the user's smartphone by displaying the gas content value. A warning message has a forced push on the door equipped with a feature to display the camera capture results. The final result of this research is that a room security system has been successfully established where door lock access and room monitoring can be done through an android application installed on a smartphone. The system can provide hazard warning messages properly.

Abstract

The application of information systems with various types of convenience offered can reflect the quality of service of an organization, the quality of service can be said to be very good if the service meets the needs and expectations of users. This kind of evaluation can be done by applying a tested model but problems arise when latent variables in the method used are not fully able to identify factors that influence user satisfaction. From the results of research using the end user satisfaction model, the R-Square value is 0.653, which means that 65.3% of user satisfaction can be found through latent variables found in the EUCS model while the remaining 34.7% can be explained through external variables. This study aims to analyze external factors outside the EUCS model, one of which is by using the information system quality variables contained in the Delone and Mclane information system success model. The way to do this is to add an external variable to the EUCS model and then analyze the outer model and analyze the structural model using the structural equation model. The results showed that the independent system quality variable has a t-statistic value of 3.445 or greater than t-table 1.96 which means that the external latent variables of the Delone and Mclean model can be used to explain the satisfaction factors (from the external variable side) of the user information system on the EUCS model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to make decisions using the Analytical Hierarchy Prosess (AHP) method in determining the best village. Criteria for determining the best village; namely Community Economy, Public Health, Education, Security and Order and Community Institutions. The results of the calculations using the AHP method in the paired criteria comparison matrix, calculate the eigenvalue until the consistency test. The results of the calculation criteria obtained are: Public Health (45%), Community Economy (24%), Education (16%), Security and Order (9%) and Community Institutions (6%). So that the highest criteria obtained are public health and the lowest, namely community institutions

Abstract

The availability of water in a building or building is still difficult to monitor, because the method used still relies on humans. Helps in detecting the volume of water effectively in water reservoirs using ultrasonic hc-sr04 sensors and fuzzy logic. The availability of water in a building or building is monitored when the water in the shelter has run out. This is not good because the availability of water is very necessary and must meet building needs continuously. During this time, monitoring the volume of water storage is done visually. the water is from the top only, so that the information obtained is not accurate. In addition, the container is generally not transparent. So it is difficult to monitor the volume of the water tank. In designing this tool the system is able to work accurately with high input water and the output of tap water using water flow sensors and testing on matlap can determine the fill level seen from the designed rules. The results of the detection of ultrasonic sensors are three led indicator signs, leds blue indicates that the volume of water in the water tank is full, the yellow led member knows that the water tank is partially filled and the red led tells that the volume of water in the water tank has run out and is immediately replenished. From the results of this test, conclusions can be drawn in determining the level status
