Abstract

ABSTRACTPitar Francisco. Role of Human Resource Farmers Group Gapoktan Toga Ornamental Plants in Sub Mahakeret West (under the guidance of Charles R. Ngangi as Chairman, Jenny Baroleh as Members).In the role of human resources in agricultural development itself get special attention to the holding of a wide range of specialized training on HR itself and run seminars that discuss HR agriculture. Areas where regional autonomy as the executor of agricultural development requires the number of agricultural institutions and adequate human resources. So far, the facts show less agricultural development a priority of development in the area, but now the role of HR agriculture began note if this continued and sustained it meets the needs of human resources capable of existing needs.These results indicate that the role of human resources in the toga gapoktan more active role than in the less active that 16 people were declared inactive by the number of above-average score of more than 10 and less active as many as four people with a total score of below average -rata less than 10, while the inactive otherwise no. From the results of this study revealed that the assessment of the role of Human Resources (HR) in the group of ornamental (Gapoktan Toga) in the Village of West Mahakeret expressed an active role in carrying out their respective roles.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDevelopment of local product is very important to improve the potency local product. Nutmeg is one of fruit from North Sulawesi. The highest of harvest rate is not balance than product from nutmeg fruit especially meat of fruit. Jelly candy is one of candy made from water or juice and gel agent, that have clear appearance and have jelly texture. Gelatin is a food additive that required in making of jelly candy, so was glucose. The aims of this research are to determine the correct concentration of gelatin and glucose syrup, to analyze the chemical components in jelly candy and to analyze the organoleptic test of jelly candy. This research has used RAL method with 2 factors, which A factor is gelatin concentration and B factor is glucose syrup. The result of this research is the 20% of gelatin and 60% of glucose syrup has 19,60% water content, 0,79% ash and 14,22% sucrose reduction which already match with the standards (SNI). The 20% of gelatin and 60% of glucose syrup has a neutral color, delight taste, neutral color and delight texture.Keywords: nutmeg, gelatin, glucose syrup, jelly candy.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose of this study is to describe the profile of the business of ? Bawang Goreng Garuda Jaya" CV. Duta Agro Lestari based on the aspect of management, availability of raw materials, production processes, marketing, and finance.Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the CV. Duta Agro Lestari as a fried onion processing industry are included in the category of the industry. The company has 28 workers which divided into 7 permanent workers and 21 casual workers. The main raw materials used by the CV. Duta Agro Lestari is Sumenep red onion obtained from farmers, and supervised directly by the company. The production processing done daily during 3 days for each period of activity. All Fried onions product is packaged in a variety of models and sizes of packaging. Product marketing reach of the CV. Duta Agro Lestari is quite extensive, not only in the city of Palu, but also on the island of Sulawesi and Java,and singapore, Malaysia, Korea, and Japan. The faculty has two models of marketing channels.For one month, CV. Duta Agro Lestari receive a profit of Rp. 9,520,201.67 and the Break Even Point (BEP) of the business achieved with production of 1,274 kg.

Abstract

ABSTRACTStudy aims to determine the symptoms and the intensity of aphids the strawberry (Chaetosiphon sp) were held in the Village Rurukan Tomohon. This study was conducted over four months from February to May 2014. Study uses survey and observations of aphids and deliberate sampling on strawberry plants were observed.Field research was conducted in the area of planting strawberries and laboratory observations carried out at the Laboratory of Entomology and Plant Pests Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sam Ratulangi. Subplot observation intensity of the attacks on strawberry crop land has a length of 2 m and a width of 1 m to 12 m long beds. In each of the beds made two subplots, each subplot were taken 20 plants.The results showed that the strawberry aphids (Chaetosiphon sp) affects plant growth both in the vegetative and generative phase of the insect in the vegetative phase of the plants become stunted, and attacks on the generative phase led to the formation of flowers and fruit inhibited. Average intensity of the attacks in of strawberry aphidsRurukan Tomohon increased every week with the highest intensity in the sixth week, namely 46.0% plants affected in the first observation and 55.0% plants affected in the second observation.Keywords: Symptoms, attack intensity, Chaetosiphon sp.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the use of agricultural land to food security. This study was conducted in North Minahasa Regency, and the data used was collected from various government agencies in North Minahasa Regency, including the Food Security Agency, Agriculture and Livestock Office, and Building Permits Office. The data was then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the use of agricultural land in North Minahasa decreased due to the increase in non-agricultural use, and could affect the food security. However, the current food security in North Minahasa was still in positive trend because due to the increase in productivity and the effect of growing season change.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTumpa Mountain area in North Sulawesi province was originally aprotected forest that isseton 28 April 1932 wide 215 ha, then based SK. 434/Menhut-II/2013 On June 17, 2013 the status of the switch into Forest Park (TAHURA) with extensive 296 ha. The purpose of this research to study the spread of Ficus groups in forest areas of Mount Tumpa, North Sulawesi. The method used in this research is the exploration method to divide the study area based on the direction of the wind, namely; aspecteast, west, north, and south. In every aspect of the slope was observed distribution of the types of groups Ficus. The data is then compiled and tabulated gotten based aspects of the slope and level/phasegrows. The results of the research that has been done there is 230 individuals Ficus spp. Spread in 9 types. Based on Ficus spp aspect, is the most dominant aspect of the West (85) followed aspect, further deployment based on the level of growth is the level of the tree(112) followed by the pole (53) individuals

Abstract

ABSTRAKThis study aimed to analyze the factors that affect the conversion of agriculturalland to non-agricultural in South Minahasa Regency. In particular, this study analyzed the effectof population, GRDP per capita, and number of industry to the change of the area of agriculturalland.This study was conducted using secondary data obtained from the office of BPS (CentralBureau of Statistics) South Minahasa. The data was then analyzed using multiple linearregression analysis.The results showed that only GRDP per capita which significantly affectedthe areaagricultural land in South Minahasa Regency. If GRDP per capita increased, the area ofagricultural land would decrease. This was an indication that when the people income increased,the land requirement for non-agricultural activities such as housing, offices, and otherinfrastructure would also increase. The required land tended to be converted from agriculturalland.

Abstract

ABSTRACTArther Manueke. Employment Absorption Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Non-Agribusiness Agribusiness (Case study: In the Village Kakaskasen Two North Tomohon sub district) under the guidance of Jen Tatuh as Chairman, Lorraine W.Th. Sondak and Agnes E. Loho as members.SMEs are an important factor in improving the economy of a region. The larger the business field increasingly strategic employment of the business and the development of businesses in an area that is growing is also the area. With the development of the business field will lead to employment and the increased employment will reduce unemployment in the region.The research was conducted in the Village Kakaskasen Two North Tomohon sub district from April to June of 2014 by using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with mengguanakan list of questions that had been prepared in advance and secondary data obtained from the relevant department of the Office of Village Kakaskasen Two North Tomohon sub district and the Department of Cooperatives Tomohon. Data processing method used in this research is descriptive method using labor coefficient analysis and presented in tabular form.In the last two years of SMEs in Sub Kakaskasen Two increasing number of business units. Data from the village Kakaskasen Two shows in 2012 recorded 82 business units and in 2013 recorded 209 business units. The results showed that the catering business is a business that is at least employment in agribusiness SMEs, but this business has a higher productivity in SMEs Agribusiness, while the restaurant business is a business that is the highest value of the coefficient of productivity of labor, but it is very small. In the non-agribusiness SMEs labor coefficient highest of soundystem rental business that has the highest coefficient is soundystem rental business however small this business productivity while business hotels, cottages, boarding coefficient value of labor productivity is small but great.Overall agribusiness SMEs have a higher absorption than the non-agribusiness SMEs but non-agribusiness SMEs productivity higher than agribusiness SMEs. Businesses that need attention are catering business and hotel business, cotage, boarding because with little manpower capable of generating significant revenue.
