Abstract

People with disabilities have physical limitations, and in many cases, social and economic limitations, so they are very vulnerable when disasters occur. Therefore, we need a system that can help the disabled when a disaster occurs. The purpose of this study is to make an application that can show location information and the shortest road access that can be passed by persons with disabilities or assisted by guardians. One algorithm that can show the shortest path is the Dijkstra algorithm, which will be implemented in the Disaster Evacuation application. Testing the system using the Black Box method shows that the disaster evacuation application is running well and under the system design. The user's location displayed on maps by utilizing GPS technology on a smartphone makes it easy for this application to detect the user's coordinates. This application is connected to the database server so that it can store and retrieve data.[Kaum difabel memiliki keterbatasan fisik, dan dalam banyak kasus keterbatasan sosial dan ekonomi, sehingga mereka sangat rentan ketika terjadi bencana. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu difabel ketika terjadi bencana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi yang mampu menunjukkan informasi lokasi dan akses jalan terpendek yang dapat dilalui difabel atau dibantu dengan wali. Salah satu algoritma yang dapat menunjukkan jalur terpendek adalah algoritma Dijkstra yang akan diimplementasikan pada aplikasi Evakuasi Bencana. Pengujian sistem dengan metode Black Box menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi evakuasi bencana sudah berjalan baik dan sesuai dengan perancangan sistem. Lokasi pengguna ditampilkan pada maps dengan memanfaatkan teknologi GPS pada smartphone sehingga mempermudah aplikasi untuk mendeteksi titik koordinat user. Aplikasi ini dihubungkan ke database server sehingga dapat melakukan penyimpanan maupun pengambilan data.]

Abstract

This study answers the question of how the politics of protection and fulfilment of the rights of persons with disabilities in the case of Regional Disability Regulations in Wonogiri Regency. With a mixed-method between normative legal research and empirical law, the research found that: 1) Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2013 concerning Disability and Empowerment of the Disabled in Wonogiri shows concern and attention to the fulfilment of disability rights along with social security; 2) The politics of disability law is the response of all factions in the DPRD who approve and support the fulfilment of the rights of persons with disabilities through accommodation in regional regulations; 3) Regional Regulations have been implemented largely in stages. Such as the implementation of inclusive education, health services, disability political participation, accessibility for people with disabilities in public facilities and infrastructure.[Penelitian ini menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana politik perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak penyandang disabilitas dalam kasus Peraturan Daerah Disabilitas di Kabupaten Wonogiri. Dengan metode campuran antara penelitian hukum normatif dan hukum empiris, penelitian menemukan bahwa: 1) Peraturan Daerah No. 8 Tahun 2013 tentang Kesetaraan dan Pemberdayaan Difabel di Wonogiri menunjukkan kepedulian dan perhatian terhadap pemenuhan hak-hak disabilitas beserta jaminan sosialnya; 2) Politik hukum disabilitas merupakan respon semua fraksi di DPRD yang menyetujui serta mendukung terpenuhinya hak-hak difabel melalui akomodasi peraturan daerah; 3) Peraturan Daerah ini telah diimplementasikan sebagian besar secara bertahap. Seperti implementasi pendidikan inklusif, pelayanan kesehatan, partisipasi politik difabel, aksesbilitas bagi difabel dalam sarana dan prasarana publik.]

Abstract

Auditory system is a very important part of human being. From the system men can receive and realize the sounds around them. As communication is an important part to adapt to the environment (let alone an academical environment), being deaf will certainly impede their communications. This research is conducted to see how social adaptation of the deaf students in an academic environment in higher education settings. This is a qualitative research based on a phenomenology approach. The research shows that the three subjects of the research have a good social adaptation in their academic environment. This success is particularly achieved by using their available personal and social resources. The biggest factors that influence their social adaptations are the acceptance and support from their family. To fully believe in the God’s will also makes them stronger to face the real life as an individual with hearing disability.[Pendengaran merupakan indera yang sangat penting bagi manusia. Melalui indera pendengaran manusia dapat menangkap dan menyadari suara-suara di sekelilingnya. Kehilangan pendengaran pada seseorang akan menghambat komunikasi terhadap lingkungan sekitar, sedangkan komunikasi sendiri merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam proses menyesuaikan diri di dalam lingkungan sekitar, termasuk lingkungan perkuliahan. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan melihat bagaimana penyesuaian sosial pada Tuli yang menempuh pendidikan di bangku perkuliahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga informan memiliki penyesuaian sosial yang cenderung baik di dalam perkuliahan dengan cara mendayagunakan potensi yang dimilikinya. Faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi penyesuaian sosial pada ketiga informan adalah penerimaan dan dukungan dari keluarga. Adanya kepercayaan terhadap kuasa Tuhan juga menjadi penguat untuk menjalani kehidupan sebagai individu dengan keterbatasan pendengaran.]

Abstract

Game is one of learning tools in early education for any children. My Costume is a game to stimule visual-spacial intellegence of children with autism. This tool is constructed from Research and Development (R&D) study which utilizes the theories of M. Alessi Stephen R. Stanley Trollip (development theory) and Howard Gardner (early education curricullum for children with autism). The stages of the research as follows: analysis, design and development. The development is conducted after obtaining validation from material/content expert, media specialist and limited experimental research. The research shows that the product of My Costume in general is appropriate to stimulate visual-spacial intellegence of children with autism in early education context. This is based on the of alpha tests from content expert is 4,6 (very good), alpha test from media specialist is 4,2 (good) whereas beta test obtains 4,27 (very good) and the final result is 4,06 (good). Pre-test visual-spacial intellegence assesment score is 2,18 (poor) and post-test is 3,45 (good). Nevertheless, we can conclude that the product of My Costume is very appopriate to be a visual-spacial learning tool for children with autism.
