Abstract

Employee relations is an activity that serves to build communication relations within the internal public of an organization in an effort to achieve the goals of the organization. Employees are an important asset for companies to manage besides the material assets. As one of hospitality industry, Best Western Premier Solo Baru also conducts employee relations activities to achieve its vision and mission. Since it was inaugurated on December 15, 2015, Best Western Premier Solo New held employee relations activities for its employees as a mean to develop relationships among employees related to the vision and mission of Best Western that has to be achieved. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data retrieval is done by interviewing informants and do direct observation. Through this research will answer questions about what employees' relations which are conducted by Best Western Premier Solo Baru, the meaning behind the vision and mission of Best Western, and the relation between employee relations activities as an effort to achieve vision and mission of Best Western. From this research, will be obtained the data that to achive vision and mission, employee relations is done by embedding the values of Best Western's organization culture, I-CARE and performing 12 work commitments at Best Western. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kecanduan game online terhadap penyesuaian sosial pada remaja. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 50 orang. Metode pengumpulan data pada variabel kecanduan game online menggunakan skala game addiction tedency yang dikembangkan oleh Chen dan Chang (2008) dan variabel penyesuaian sosial menggunakan skala social adjustment scale yang dikembangkan oleh Cooper, Osborn, Gath dan Feggetter (1982). Teknik analisa data menggunakan Pearson. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah r = - 0,432 dengan sig. 2-tailed = 0.01 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara kecanduan game online dota 2 terhadap penyesuaian sosial pada remaja.

Abstract

Pancasila is the idea and the ideology that absolutely must be owned and embedded in each of the in and out of activity The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Addresing the very complex issue of the nation, it is required the cooperation of various parties and also a product of legislation to guard the life of the nation. This article intends to explain the various approaches that must be considered in solving the nations problems mainly related to ideologies that could destroy the nation such as terrorism. Abstract

A leader in a multicultural society plays a very important role, especially in Indonesian context that already well known for their multicultural society. This article discuss about the ethical principles in the multicultural society and how it related with leadership quality. The aim of this discussion is to show the quality that could work as foundation for every leader in multicultural context. Ultimately this article suggests three qualities; openness and sense of acceptance, communicative, and ethical awerness for justice and solidarity. Abstract

Religion is a human life guidance. Religion is not God's creation. Religion is a human creation to be able to steer and control his life. Life associated with the Creator. So that religion is a tool in relations human relationship with God, which is a vertical relationship. At the moment in the life of religious fundamentalism used to relate to God, religion becomes a human privatization. But when religion is imposed uniformity fundamental in the understanding, the result can lead to differing views on religion that leads interference to peace among peoples, such as defamation, inter-religious conflicts, homelessness particular religion, terrorism, etc. On this context, fundamentalism and religious diversity is important to be studied and examined the truth. Religious fundamentalism creates open communication space between religious communities in religious equality. In contrast, fundamentalism closed and give communication barriers between religious communities because each considers the most true religion and other religions do not. Abstract

Leader is one of the most important key in moving the organizations life and promote life together. However the role of leaders is only 20% compared to the followers in the dynamics of the organization, but leaders become role models and inspiration ?igures. This article discusses about the role of leader in the context of the ecumenical movement. The author tries to extend the understanding of the ecumenical movement is not just an efforts towards the uni?ication of Christians, but to the understanding of the early ecumenical, the inhabited world, which refers to how the leader of the Christian being a role model and inspiration in an effort to bring together the various components of the community who inhabit the earth for unite to build the world. Some Christian leaders in Indonesia who are leaders in many ?ields, the author adopted as a spotlight in this discussion. Abstract

AbstraksiPersembahan berperan penting dalam gereja. Persembahan menjadi salah satu atau bahkan satu-satunya cara untuk membiayai kebutuhan gereja. Saat gereja membutuhkan dana, isu persembahan seorang koruptor menjadi persoalan yang dilematis. Dalam upaya untuk menjawab persoalan tersebut, tulisan ini mengkaji kisah pemberian dari seorang janda miskin dalam Lukas 21:1-4 melalui metode hermeneutik Perjanjian Baru. Tulisan ini mengemukakan bahwa persembahan tidak pernah hanya berorientasi pada uang, karena persembahan melibatkan seluruh eksistensi dari pihak yang memberi persembahan. Saat kebenaran tentang persembahan dari koruptor tidak bersifat tunggal, gereja harus hadir untuk menyatakan posisinya dengan tegas dan merangkul para koruptor.AbstractThe offering has an important role in the church. The offering is one or even the only way to support the needs of the church. When the church is in need of funds, the issue of an offering of a corruptor becomes a dilemmatic problem. In an effort to address the issue, this writing investigates the story of the poor widow's offering in Luke 21: 1-4 through the New Testament hermeneutic method. This writing explains that the offering is never merely money oriented because the offering involves the entire existence of the party who gives the offering. When the truth about the offering of corruptor is not a single, the church must present to declare its position firmly and embrace the corruptor.Keywords: Offering, Corruptor, Poor Widow, Luke 21:1-4, Church
