Abstract

In Pekanbaru City, students' trips to and from school tend to use private vehicles, be it motorbikes or those delivered by parents, so the available urban transportation is less attractive. Almost 75% of students use motorbikes, this situation can certainly affect student safety. This can be seen from the number of accidents in 2017 which placed the student profession as a victim in the 2nd position. Therefore, it is necessary to plan safe, comfortable, precise and safe school transportation. This research was conducted at schools in the Lima Puluh District area. The analysis used the method of calculating potential demand, service routes, types and number of fleets. Based on the demand for school transportation, the school bus transportation service area is divided into 6 school transportation routes. The fleet used is medium buses. The operational plan for school transportation is divided into 3 shifts, namely morning, afternoon and evening

Abstract

Site class F is a profile of soil layers that are prone to failure or collapse due to earthquake loads such as liquefaction, highly sensitive clays, weak cemented soils, and highly organic clays that require specific geotechnical investigations and site-specific response analysis. One of the factors that influence design of earthquake-resistant the building structures is condition of the soil layer and and analysis structure. This study aims to evaluate the performance of reinforced concrete structures on site class F using the pushover analysis method. Pushover analysis is a non-linear static method in which a structure is subjected to gravitational loading and a lateral load pattern controlled by monotonic displacement which continues to increase through elastic and inelastic behavior until final conditions are reached. The results showed that the performance level of the pushover analysis structure based on the ATC-40 structure is included in the Damage Control category level.

Abstract

Padang City is a city that is the center of economic and educational movement in West Sumatra. Meanwhile, Padang Panjang City is one of the cities that is currently preparing the younger generation to become the part that will cultivate the city well. Unlike the city of Padang, Padang Panjang City is a city that is currently one of the cities with culinary attractions that are in demand by the people of West Sumatra. This is a major attraction for the city trip. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that will influence the choice of the community to use the land public transportation mode between Minibus and Travel Car from Padang Panjang to Padang, and to analyze the choice of modes to get the best travel mode of transportation. Travel attraction modeling is done using multiple linear regression equations with the help of the SPSS program. The characteristics of the community's journey to Padang Panjang City to Padang City were that the gender was male (58.5%), the age of the people who traveled 15-25 years (55.5%), high school education (52%), student community work (45 %), the total income is <IDR 1 million (50%), the most common mode to go to Padang city is both (49%), the reason for choosing the mode is cost (39.0%), and the most frequent departure is 2x a week (30 %). The factors that influence the travel attraction (y) are influenced by income (X1), travel time (X2), convenience (X3). with a value of R 2 = 0.516

Abstract

Drainage functions to drain water so that there is no puddle on the road surface which can disrupt community activities and damage to road construction. On Jalan Harapan, the Rumbai Pesisir sub-district already has a drainage channel on the right with a height of 1.3 m and a width of 1.3 m and a left channel with a height of 1.3 m and a width of 1.1 m. However, there are still frequent puddles of water on the road surface. The condition of the drainage channel on the hope road is hollow, causing waterlogging in the area. The purpose of this research is to do a re-planning to improve the condition of the existing drainage channel so that it can drain water. The method used is the Gumbel distribution method to calculate the frequency of rainfall, SNI 03-3424-1994 to calculate the intensity of rainfall and the manning method to calculate the flow velocity. From the planning results, the dimensions are 1.75 m high and 1.5 m wide with an upstream elevation of 99,013 and a downstream elevation of 98.8108 for the right channel and the left channel with a height of 1.45 m and a width of 1.2 m with an upstream elevation of 98.429 and an elevation of 98.429. downstream 98,227 for the left channel. In conclusion, the dimensions of the right channel are 1.75 m high and 1.5 m wide, the left channel is 1.45 m high and 1.2 m wide.

Abstract

The highway as one of the means of land transportation, its usefulness is felt to be increasingly important to increase the improvement of the national economy. One solution to build this road is to try the use of SMA (Stone Matrix Asphalt) asphalt pavement. Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) is asphalt concrete with a hot mix consisting of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler material and binder (asphalt). The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using Asbuton grain T.5/20 for asphalt pavement of the Asphalt Stone Matrix on Marshall characteristics. The materials used in the mixture are coarse aggregate from the base, fine aggregate, asphalt pen 60/70 and asbuton grain T.5/20 originating from Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi. Marshall test for asphalt matrix asphalt on aggregate mixture with asphalt content of 4.5%, 5%, 5.5% and 6% obtained the optimum asphalt content value of 5.75%. After obtaining the optimum asphalt content, modifications were made by adding asbuton grain T.5/20 to the aggregate mixture as much as 2%, 2.5%, and 3%. The more use as a grain in the mixture, the higher the value obtained. Stability is an indicator of pavement strength under traffic loads. Asphalt Stone Matrix which is designed to obtain a large void content, while the proportion of VMA cavities obtained is getting smaller and does not meet the specification requirements.__

Abstract

One of rivers on Rupat Island is Mesim River. The bridge crosses the river is a reinforced concrete bridge. Accordance with Bina Marga regulations for 40 – 200 m long obstacles, steel truss bridge is the most economical type. Therefore, in this planning the author redesigned upper structure of Mesim River Bridge using a steel truss. This design aims to obtain effective upper structur dimension, implementation steps and engineer of estimate. This plan refers to SNI 1725:2016 about bridge loading, RSNI T-03-2005 about steel structure planning for bridges, and SNI T-12-2004 about concrete structure planning. This bridge is planned with a length of 52 m. Based on planning results, the bridge slab thickness is 200 mm, stringer uses IWF 350.175.7.11, cross girder uses IWF 700.300.13.24, main truss uses IWF 400.400.13.21

Abstract

The increase in freight movement in Pekanbaru is not followed by the development of good freight transport facility, causing traffic creasing caused by mixtraffic, thus degrading the performance of road segments in Pekanbaru City. It demands the need for the preparation of more effective and efficient freight transport facilities. In an effort to improve the performance of the road segment, several handling scenarios are implemented by cross network arrangement and capacity building of road segments crossed by freight transport. To know the performance of the road segment, the burden of each handling scenario, including in plan year 2030. Based on the result of the loading analysis, it is found that the scenario of ring road construction and road network of freight transport shows the improvement of road performance, where the speed in the base year 33.43 km / hour increases to 40.02 km / h in 2025 and becomes 39.41 km / hr.

Abstract

Jalan Pasir Putih merupakan jalur lintas Sumatera yang berada di Kabupaten Kampar. Kepadatan lalu lintas pada ruas jalan ini sanggat tinggi, kehadiran kendaraan berat dapat menimbulkan banyak masalah seperti kemacetan, kecelakaan dan kerusakan pada lapisan perkerasan jalan. Kondisi Jalan Pasir Putih mengalami kerusakan seperti lubang, retak, bergelombang, agregat licin, alur bekas roda kendaraan dan pelepasan butiran. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan tidak lancarnya lalu lintas, keamanan dan kenyamanan pengedara menjadi terganggu, dan juga rawan terjadinya kecelakaan. Diperlukan pemeliharaan ruas jalan seperti perawatan dan perbaikan agar jalan dapat berfungsi melayani optimal sebagai mana mestinya. Pemilihan bentuk pemeliharaan jalan yang tepat dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan penilaian terhadap kondisi jalan dengan menggunakan metode Surface Distress Index (SDI). Tujuan penulisan ini adalah memperoleh nilai tingkat kerusakan jalan menggunakan metode surface Distress Index (SDI) serta dapat menentukan tipe penanganan nya berdasarkan tingkat kerusakannya. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu bahwa kondisi ruas jalan masih baik dan diperlukan pemeliharan rutin.

Abstract

Earthquakes that often occur in Indonesia are tectonic earthquakes. Indonesia is one of the countries in the earthquake area. Thus, the construction of structures built in earthquake-prone areas must meet applicable national standards and the structures can still function and be safe from earthquakes affected by the earthquake. Reinforced concrete shear walls are one of the structural elements that effectively resist earthquake forces. The application of reinforced concrete shear walls can effectively reduce the displacement and shear forces of the structure floor. This study aims to determine the effect of shear wall position on symmetrical high-rise buildings due to earthquake loads. In this research, the building that is analyzed is earthquake by considering two types of structural systems. Namely the frame system and the dual system. The first model is an open frame structure system, and the other three models are a double type structure system. The dual system with shear walls in the core and placed in the center of the building showed a significant reduction of more than 85% of lateral displacement at the top of the structure

Abstract

QTO (Quantity Take Off) is a measurement for calculating the volume of the entire building in detail. QTO calculation has 2 (two) methods, namely the manual calculation method using the SMPI (Standard Metode Pengukuran Indonesia) and the digital calculation method using BIM (Building Information Modeling). The BIM that used in the calculation of this research is Autodesk Revit. Both methods have their respective advantages, disadvantages, and have the potential to produce different volume calculation results. Therefore, both methods are used in this research and the results has been compared. The results of the total volume be written into a construction document called the BQ (Bill of Quantity). BQ generate calculations from both BIM (Revit) and manual calculations (SMPI). Difference in calculation results between manual calculation (SMPI) and BIM (Revit) calculation for rebar is 0,49%; concrete is 0,14%; while formwork is 0,07%. This indicates that the manual calculation method and the BIM calculation method (Revit) provide approximately same and accurate results. The largest difference in volume calculation results is found in the calculation of rebar due to inaccuracies of 3D modeling carried out by engineers. 3D modeling on Revit software requires special skill for precision, accuracy, and expertise, as the potential for 3D modeling errors is very high.
