Abstract

A good understanding of learning material is something that every student must have. Understanding is built through attention in listening to the material discussed in the learning process. Intense attention will produce good understanding so that later it will have a positive impact on learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of using quizizz as media games on students' attention and learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a posttest-only design. The research sample is 30 students as the control class and 30 students as the experimental class. The instruments used were observation sheets to measure student attention and essay tests to measure learning outcomes. The percentage of student attention in the control class was 56.63% in the good category while the experimental class was 65.52% in the good category. The learning outcomes on the prerequisite test show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. Test the hypothesis with an independent sample t-test, namely the sig value (0.01) <0.05 so that it is stated that there is an effect of using Quizizz on increasing student attention and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning is a learning model that will be used as an experiment in class and this model is expected to improve the quality of learning to be more effective and efficient. Through Problem Based Learning the learning that will be obtained is through the process towards understanding the resolution of a problem. Critical thinking is one of the assets that students must have in this century. Critical Thinking is the ability to create or find an idea and idea in solving a problem. The learning approach empowering the rules of connection will fully involve literacy and critical thinking of students to explore existing knowledge and information, in order to discuss and study the material being discussed. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the learning process and students' critical abilities. The research design is defined as a strategy to set the research background so that the researcher obtains valid data according to the variable characteristics and the researcher's objectives. This research is a true experiment type. This study took the Pre-test-Posttest control group design research design which aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on critical thinking in social studies subjects, by comparing one experimental group that was treated with the Problem Based Learning learning model and the other group was given the model learning Discovery Learning. The subjects of this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of two classes. From the results of research conducted with the ability to think critically and learning outcomes (Gain Score) proves that the experimental class is superior to the control class.

Abstract

The development of the modern era and today's technology certainly influences all aspects and various fields, especially in the field of education. Of course, many of us feel the developments in the field of education as well as in the learning process. One of them is learning media. Through this article, we try to study and examine learning media whose content is about the study of how to choose and how to implement this learning media for students at the elementary school (SD) level. With learning media, it will certainly make students more enthusiastic and motivated when in the learning process and with the use of learning media, competencies and learning objectives will be more easily achieved. And for students at the elementary school level (SD) they really need media aids/intermediaries because according to Piaget's learning theory, at this stage the child is only able to group the shape of an object but has not yet reached the stage of solving an abstract problem. Indicators of the success of learning media can be seen when students are able to answer questions posed by educators both orally and in written tests.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mutual cooperation attitude of class II student at SDN Sambirejo 02 Semarang. This is mostly due to technological advances so that students tend to be individualistic. So with the following activities : Class pikets, Group Assignments, Clean Fridays foster an attitude of mutual cooperation on Class II students at SDN Sambirejo 02 Semarang. In accordance with the objective of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and culture, gotong royong is one of the character education program in school. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were class II students at SDN Sambirejo 02 Semarang, titaling 26 students. Data collection in this study was carried out by interview techniques. Data analysis techniques use data reduction and data verification. The result of this study indicate that the attitide of mutual cooperation in class II students at SDN Sambirejo 02 Semarang has been implemented with various actibities such as : Class Pikets, Group Assignments and Clean Friday. In addition, the mutual cooperation attitude is also implemented in Civics, SBdP, and Indonesian subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengembangkan media menggunakan aplikasi Canva “Transformasi Energi” SD, (2) mengetahui kelayakan pada pengembangan aplikasi canva dalam pembelajaran tematik SD. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup lima Langkah antara lain: analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), Evaluation (Evaluasi). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah validator ahli media, ahli materi, dan siswa kelas IV SD. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Aplikasi Canva “Tranformasi Energi” Kelas IV SD “Sangat Layak” dengan rincian persentase kelayakan yang diberikan oleh ahli media pada tahap pertama menghasilkan 74,11 Kategori “Dapat Digunakan dengan Revisi”, kemudian Tahap 2 dengan skor 87,05 Kategori “Dapat digunakan Tanpa Revisi”. Ahli materi pada media Tahap 1 Skor 57,3% Kategori “Cukup dapat Digunakan” dan Tahap 2 Skor 96% Kategori Layak Digunakan tanpa Revisi“. Implementasi kepada siswa juga memperoleh hasil baik, dimana minat, motivasi, serta hasil belajar yang berjalan dengan baik. Maka dari itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Aplikasi Canva “Transfoemasi Energi” kelas IV SD 2 Sambirejo Semarang bisa digunakan dengan baik kepada siswa saat proses pembelajaran di kelas IV SD 2 Sambirejo Semarang.

Abstract

Culture is obtained from a learning process, not biologically inherited or inherited through genetic elements, so if the local community's wisdom values ​​do not disappear, they will gradually disappear. One way to learn is through research activities. This research, which carries the Kupang dance which is a traditional dance of the Sidoarjo people, aims to reveal and describe the wisdom values ​​of the local Sidoarjo community as a form of actualization of the activities/livelihoods of the Sidoajo people as fishermen in Kupang. As for the urgency and contribution of this research, apart from being an effort to realize and maintain the wisdom values ​​of the local Sidoarjo community, it also reveals the elements or messages contained in an effort to preserve local culture so that it can be better known by the wider community, especially the younger generation. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through literature studies on the Kupang dance in Sidoarjo Regency, interviews with the local community and the Sidoarjo Regency Arts Service. Data collection techniques using triangulation techniques by combining observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation in the form of texts. The data analysis technique was carried out using model analysis by Miles and Huberman, namely through the stages of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that based on the classification of cultural types, the values ​​of local wisdom in the Kupang dance are the transmission of the values ​​of hard work, mutual cooperation, ethical values ​​(wisdom), values ​​of love, gratitude, creativity, confidence and discipline

Abstract

Watching that is not appropriate for the age of the child can have a bad impact on the child. Parents are the closest figure as long as the child is at home. For this reason, parents need to filter the shows that are watched by children. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of parents in filtering viewing for young children. The method used is descriptive. The research subjects were 3 parents who had early childhood. The collection of data used is observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation. While data analysis uses the Miles & Huberman model with the stages of data collection, data presentation, reduction and drawing conclusions. The results show that parents have three ways to filter viewing for young children, namely direct supervision, observing program schedules and preparing applications that are appropriate for the child's age. The implication of this research is to contribute knowledge to parents who have young children to find out ways that can be used to filter children's viewing at home.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the significant effect of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by animation on class VII students of junior high school. The population of this study were all students of class VII SMP. The number of respondents is 30 students where the respondents are the population as well as the research sample. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest design. From the results of the analysis above: (1) Differences in learning outcomes in the cooperative learning model with the animation-assisted jigsaw strategy can be seen from the average pretest score (69.57), and posttest score (84.80) and individual completeness at pretest (43%) and posttest (80%), while classical learning completeness reaches more than 80% so that it reaches the Minimum Completeness Criteria, 2) Student responses to the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by animation obtained were 87% of students liked the classroom atmosphere, and 96% of students liked the way the teacher taught the material, and 88% of students considered themselves helped and got more opportunities and 89% of students feel that they have had a good opportunity in expressing ideas, responding to questions, asking questions, and presenting work results so as to foster self-confidence, being able to think critically, being open, self-motivated, cooperative, and responsible, 3) there is the effectiveness of implementing the type cooperative learning model jigsaw in social studies learning as evidenced by the percentage of agreement obtained from two observers of 97%.
