Abstract

Wifi technology is a means to obtain information quickly, to strengthen the role of the signal, an antenna is needed because the antenna serves as a means for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves which are contained signal information. Mikrostrip antenna has a characteristic that is small, light, thin, easily fabricated, and can be used at a great distanceIn the use of wifi antenna require a relatively small shape and a cheaper prize. One of the antena on that specification is a microstrip antenna. By using 2 circular array method, the microstrip antenna can improve the wifi signal and wider on bandwidth. In this final project will be designed and created microstrip antenna with the 2 patches ccircular array methodwith slot that will be used as a wifi receiver. The results of the antenna microstrip rectangular 2 patches measurement indicating that it can work optimally on 2.406 GHz frequency, on a value of return loss ? 22.90 dB, a value of VSWR 1.160, a value of bandwidth 0. 1035 GHz, and a value of gain 14.95 dBi.

Abstract

Smart trash cans use a proximity sensor (ultrasonic) to detect the height of the trash, the PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor to detect human presence and Arduino as the data processing center. This trash can also has an LED that functions as an indicator and the buzzer functions as an alarm when the trash can is full. If the garbage reaches half of the trash, the LED will turn yellow, if the garbage reaches a height of 4cm from the trash lid, then the LED will turn red and so the trash can will be locked even though the PIR sensor detects humans. Buzzer will live to attract the attention of cleaning officers to dispose of trash. To dispose of garbage, the clerk needs to shift the open and close trash button so that the lid will open. The author hopes that this smart trash can can increase public awareness to dispose of garbage in its place. The results of study show that PIR sensors work by well in detecting the presence of humans and ultrasonic sensors in detecting the height of garbage are not accurate, so that if the trash if the trash can is empty, sometimes the garbage is minus, whereasif the garbage is < 3.5 cm, the sensor fails detect it.

Abstract

The Computer and Network Engineering Laboratory School is a means for teaching and learning that has problems with information technology. In this research, IT Risk Management Assessment will be carried out at the Computer and Network Engineering Laboratory of School. This research was conducted to determine what risks of what happened. In this study, the NIST SP 800-30r1 Framework method will be used to obtain risk scores. While for data collection techniques will use qualitative analysis. The stages of risk assessment carried out include Prepare for Assessment, Conduct Assessment, Communicate Result, and Maintain Assessment. From the assessment stage, the level of risk obtained is in a moderate position. This assessment was taken from the results of interviews with five respondents in the organization management of The Computer and Network Engineering Laboratory School. Emerging risks have a serious impact on assets, organization and activities in The Computer and Network Engineering Laboratory School.

Abstract

School institutions in Batam have problems in how the events they conduct can support the school's operational effectiveness. The solution model for these problems is to build web-based event systems using the dynamic systems development (DSDM) method. This system aims to solve problems that occur in event scheduling at activities carried out at school institutions in Batam. The school representative used is a school in Batam. The method is done by learning and the feasibility of case studies, model functionality, design, and implementation. This implementation produces a system that is very helpful in processing data and reports during the event. Starting from the registration of the event, the continuity of the event, until the completion of the event, all can be stored in detail. Besides users, there are also managers and administrators. Managers have a role to manage the data entered by registrants, while administrators give access to each user account and maintain system security. This system is divided into 2 roles with one as a user and one acting as an administrator. Registrants to participate in this event act as users. The results of this study are that school operational effectiveness increases after implementing this web-based event system.

Abstract

This research is design of an Attendance Information System titled ?Malang City Polytechnic Web Based Student Attendance Information System Telecommunications Engineering Study Program Using Fingerprint?. Students of Malang City Polytechnic are still using a manual attendance system. The attendance system that is still manual has many disadvantages such as data processing, report making and also difficult to monitor student attendance. Therefore, the existence of this system makes it easy to find out student attendance on that day, because it is timely or real time. This system also makes it easy to make monthly reports about student attendance and delay. The design of this system uses PHP Web and MySQL Database connection. The results of this system can create and display monthly reports that have been processed and can monitor student attendance every day.

Abstract

There is no legal dictionary application and to answer this, the mobile legal dictionary application is created. Indonesian law dictionary-based Android is an application that provides information about the law in Indonesia. This dictionary contains information such as Pancasila law, the Constitution of 1945, the terms of the law in Indonesia, the Book of Law - Criminal Code, and the Book of Civil Law Act. The application also comes with a memo that can be used to record. System development methodology in Indonesia this law dictionary application using RUP methodology (Rational Unified Process) which is a development system using a model of UML (Unified Model Language). This application is made by using a system that supports the application of the Eclipse ADT (Android Development Tools) which is an eclipse plugin that connects IDE and Android SDK. From testing the application, the application's performance can be used according to its functions and needs.

Abstract

Employees are one of the human resources that are very important in determining the success of the company's work. There fore the company must appoint employees into one of the positions according to the expertise desired by the company. There are still many managers to appoint their employees to only see how long they work without being supported by adequate expertise. So that the appointment of employees by managerial is subjective. For this reason, it is necessary to process employee assessment data that can help make it easier for a boss and the Payroll section to take a decision to recommend employees to take office. The method used to solve the problem of recommendation for promotion for employees by using the SMART method (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) is a multi-attribute decision-making method used to support decision making in choosing between several alternatives. The criteria used in calculating the assessment are professional criteria, cooperation, leadership, innovation and ethics at work. Judging from the managerial aspects, the assessment can be developed with other criteria according to the needs of the company

Abstract

The beam notations is officially used as the standard of international music notation, and is often found in scores for both musical instruments and vocals. In Indonesia, the use of numerical notation is more widely used and understood, because the learning process of notation beams is not easy, and takes time for the introduction of each symbol and its meaning. The pattern recognition technology makes it possible to recognize the pattern of the beam notations. The software used for system development is Matlab, utilizing artificial neural network using backpropagation method to recognize the pattern of beam notation. Backpropagation is a supervised learning method, where the system will be given the training first, and then the system can understand and identify patterns based on the knowledge gained. The final result shows that the system is able to recognize patterns from notations that have been previously studied with the highest percentage of 91.20%.

Abstract

Water is one of the natural resources that are needed by creatures on earth. And the need for clean water is increasing, so the price of water, both bottled water and the price of water from the PDAM. Therefore, it is necessary to have a design that can control water needs, such as the water level for filling the required containers, controlling the water level in the reservoir, etc. according to human needs so that no waste of water occurs. This research was conducted to design water level detection by combining hardware and software, namely ultrasonic sensors as detection, Arduino Uno microcontroller as a process, and fuzzy logic as an analysis of data delivered by ultrasonic sensors. So, this design can be utilized in various fields both industrial and home. This water level detection is designed using ultrasonic sensors as distance monitoring, servo motor, LED warning, and buzzer. Fuzzy logic is applied to the ability of a tool designed by determining the desired set point of water. Test results that have been carried out with Fuzzy Logic with 5 levels, are level 1 (0 ? 6 cm), level 2 (6.1 ? 12 cm), level 3 (12.1 cm ? 18 cm), level 4 (18.1 cm ? 24 cm), and level 5 (24.1 ? 30 cm).

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of perceived Usefulness, ease of use (Perceived Ease of Use), security and Privacy of student admissions (Acceptance Of SISFO) at Universitas Batam International through an approach using the Model Techonology acceptance model (TAM) using the analyzed variables are Perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived ease Of Use (PEU), Security and Privacy (SP). Respondents in this study involve active students of the International University of Batam, sampling conducted with purvosive sampling technique, related to the level of testing data obtained will be conducted by testing validity, realiability test, regression test against variable Perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived ease Of Use (PEU), Security and Privacy (SP). Data processing in the study will be conducted empirically using SPSS software, which results the above expected fromindependent variables is a significant test sample to determine the predicted acceptance rate to Academic information systems. The results of study show that testing of independent variable is significant and jointly has a positive influence on the dependent variable, there is the greatest influence on the Security and Privacy (SP) variable so the level of acceptance of academic information system is expected to provide security and maintain the confidentiality of user data.
