Abstract

Familiarize yourself observing breast awareness is a part of a womans body. In this way, even the smallest defects which can be found and active measures for treatment can be started as early as possible. Method: The research design was pre eksperimental design. With the approach of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample are 100 student of SMKN 3 Blitar City, it was choosen using simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by questionnaire. Result : Based on statistical tests Paired T Test obtained sig = 0.000. This shows 0.000 <0.05 that the presence of the above found that the pvalue (0,000) <0.05, it can be concluded that there are significant health education on the attitudes of young women. Discussion : Young women more active to increase the knowledge by obtaining information about reproductive health care, especially on the breast it self.

Abstract

Abstract. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is mostly elderly. In the aging process, glucose tolerance decreases. The most common problem occurs in patients with DM is to maintain ideal body weight. Some elderly people have problems with excessive weight and some malnutrition. The condition of malnutrition in elderly with type 2 diabetes has an effect on physical and psychological function, both of these factors are important in the satisfaction of quality of life. The quality of life of DM patients is a feeling of satisfaction and happiness will live in general, especially with diabetes mellitus. The aims of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and functional capacity with the quality of life of elderly people with diabetes mellitus type 2. The design in this study is correlational with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique of accidental sampling. Identify elderly people with type 2 diabetes in accordance with the inclusion criteria, then Data collection is done by weighing weight and measuring the height of elderly, filling the quality of life questionnaire, and functional capacity. Data analysis using Spearman Rank. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and functional capacity with quality of life of elderly people with type 2 diabetes, the correlation of each with r = 0,000 and r = 0.003. Expected For health workers to provide motivation to patients to maintain a good lifestyle so as to minimize complications and quality of life of the elderly either. For families to support and facilitate healthy lifestyles in elderly people with type 2 diabetes to achieve the most nutritional status and functional status according to age and ability. Keywords: elderly people with type 2 DM, functional capacity, nutritional status, quality of life.

Abstract

Based on Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey in 2008, there were 80,000 newbornsdied. One possible cause was infection. Infections acquired from placenta transplant from mother tofetus can cause congenital abnormalities such as TORCH infections. This can be prevented by doingpremarital examination. This study investigated the relationship between childbearing women’s knowledgeabout premarital examination and attitude in premarital examination in Tanjungpinang in 2014.This was an analytic study with a cross-sectional research design. Location was selected in Tanjungpinangon June 12 to June 23, 2014. The sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The sample was47 people. Instrument used was a questionnaire and data collection was done by filling the questionnaire.The obtained data was analyzed with chi-square test. The results showed that, of the 47 respondents,87.2% had high knowledge with 68.1% having a positive attitude while 12.8% had low knowledgewith 31.9% having a negative attitude. The results of the chi-square statistical test obtained a pvalueof 0.009 (p <0.05), then H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a correlation between childbearingwomen’s knowledge about premarital examination and attitude in premarital examination inTanjungpinang in 2014. It was suggested that the childbearing women expected to undergo premaritalexamination before marriage. It was recommended to the Health Clinic Laboratory to improve thepremarital screening program with promotional efforts.

Abstract

Children sex abuse is an immoral act done to the children under age such as school children.Parents role in protecting school children from sex abuse are by supervising, giving advise, providingearly religious education, becoming a good role model, and creating a conducive atmosphere in family.The aim of the research was to describe parents role in protecting school children from sex abuse. Theresearch design was a descriptive approach. The population was 578 parents of students in SDNSanawetan 02 Blitar city. The sample was 58 parents taken by quota sampling. The data collection wasdone by door to door on July 6 – August 14, 2015. The result showed that 69% (40 parents) lessinvolved, 28% (26 parents) fair involved, and 3% (2 parents) actively involved. Factors affecting lessinvolved parents was culture, education, and job. The role of Less involved parents showed by lessinteraction with the school, didn’t give information on sex abuse, didn’t accustom child to be extrovert,and avoid fighting in front of children. Increasing parents concern to children could decrease sex abuseof school children case.

Abstract

Massage baby was done to smooth the surface of the skin performed by the hand which aims to produce effects of neurons, the muscles, respiratory systems and circulating blood and limpha.The aim of this research is to find out about babies health is the educational practices massage ain on an infant by the baby. Method: Research design was pretest-postest without control group designs. Research sample was 20 mother who have babies age 0-12 months in the BPS kirana, Jatinom Village, it choosed with purposive sampling. Analysis using wilcoxon, with significant level ≤0.05 Result: The results showed that health education of baby massage influence baby massage skill, with wilcoxon signed rank test obtained p-value 0,000. Discuss: With education about the expected health massage parents babies have knowledge and skills of massage infants it can massaging her baby independently and right.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has great case of natural disasters. One of disasters that recentlyoccurred are the volcanic eruptions. Based on the interview with volunteer of kelud anchor in December2015, there were communities that were less understand about disaster risk reduction efforts of thevolcano. The purpose of the research was the efforts of disaster risk reduction (Mitigation) eruption ofKelud Mountain by the society in the area of Disaster-prone Areas (KRB) III Blitar Regency. Thisresearch used descriptive research design. The population of the research was all members of thecommunity who live in area III KRB Kelud in Modangan. The sample was 60 people taken by quotasampling. The data collection was done by providing a closed-ended questionnaire multiple choicequestions. Time data retrieval performed on 15-20 March 2016. The results showed that the public hadthe ability to either IE of 50% (30 people), enogh ability as 15% (10 people) and had less abilities i.e.as 35% (20 people). It was affected by the dissemination of prevention and disaster risk reduction.Recomendation for stakeholder of Modangan and Karangrejo village was to do socialitation in everyor when there was sign of Kelud mountain activity.

Abstract

Caring can be seen through the attitude and action that are characteristic of the behavior. As the health care service, caring so important for patient. Patient satisfaction is indicator of quality insurance of hospital. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of caring behavior of nurse with patient satisfaction in VCT clinic Gambiran hospital with Watson theory approach. Methode: Research study was analytic corelational design. Research samples was 50 of patient at VCT clinic Gambiran hospital. Data collected at July to September 2014 by using questionnaire and proceeded by Spearman Rho test. The result of this study was that caring behavior nurse correlated with patient satisfaction with p-value=0,000. According the result of this study are expected to be the input for hospitals to improve quality of service by apply minimum standart service that are caring behavior.

Abstract

Age Marriage Maturation (PUP) is part of the National Planning Family program to increase the age of first marriage minimum 21 years old for women and 25 years old for men. Age Marriage Maturation Program (PUP) will have an impact on increasing the first age marriage, which it will turn lower the Total Fertility Rate (TFR). The purpose of research is to explore the knowledge of adolescents about the Age Marriage Maturation program (PUP) in SMKN 3 of Blitar. This research use descriptive design with 571 populations from SMKN 3 Blitar’s students and the sample is 235 students with proportional random sampling technique. The collection data by questionnaires. The results is 83% good knowledge, 15,3% sufficient knowledge, and 1,7% less knowledge. Knowledge of adolescents has been good, but needs to be improved in relating matters about influence of the health aspects to the Age Marriage Maturation (PUP). Suggestions for school is should be information about Age Marriage Maturation (PUP) presented attractively by picturial media.

Abstract

Healthy lifestyle is a lifestyle with attention to factors - certain factors that affect health, such as diet and exercise. The purpose of this research is to identify how the efforts of patients hypertension to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Methods this research uses descriptive design. The population in this research were all patients with hypertension in Poly UPTD Kesehatan Kecamatan Sukorejo Blitar total of 220 people, the number of samples in this study were 33 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by giving questionnaires. Time of data collection was conducted on 20 June 2013 to 02 July 2013. The results showed that for 57.6% (19 respondents) had a good effort, 39.4% (13 respondents) had enough attempts, and 3% (1 respondent) had less effort. Recommendations from this study are expected to continue to provide health services well and provide health education to the public about healthy lifestyle that should be done for patients with hypertension

Abstract

Post–Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is an individual response to event or a condition thatcan appear many symptom such as, re-experiencing, avoidance, hyperarousal. Survivors pschycologicalyoften suffering PTSD, if this disorders wasn’t detected and ignored without handling by experts, thecasualties were often psychologically stressfull pasca trauma. If this condition was undetected and beignored, it would cause medical and pshycological complication, so that PTSD will disturb socialaspect of the patients. The aim of this study was to describe Post-Ttraumatic Stress Disorder in KeludMountain’s suvivor based on Impact of Event Scale–Revised (IES-R) in Kali Bladak Nglegok districtBlitar regency. This research used descriptive design . The number of samples was 42 people whosuffered Kelud Mountain’s eruption. The result showed that respondents who suffers PTSD was 66,6%which with less until a lot of symptoms and most of the society experienced Kelud’s mountain eruption.The writer suggested that health institutions of Blitar regency could decrease Post Traumatic StressDisorders symptom from a Kelud’s survivor who had many symptoms become no symptoms trough debriefingteraphy in Kali Bladak Village Nglegok District Blitar Regency.
