Abstract

The Register of Argo Merapi Community (AMC) 14.938 MHz in the village of Argomulyo Cangkringan Sleman, Yogyakarta. The Thesis of Indonesian Education and Literature Study Program. Faculty of Teachers Training and Education Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University Yogyakarta. 2015. This study aims to describe Register Argo Merapi Community (AMC) 14.938 MHz in the village of Argomulyo Cangkringan Sleman Yogyakarta which includes (1) to describe linguistic variation AMC (2) describe the factors that cause the AMC language variation and (3) describe the meaning and typical terms used in the AMC. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data were acquired intangible oral sentences spoken AMC. Source of this study was obtained from the use of the language spoken by the AMC. Data obtained using methods refer and methods capable. Techniques to consider methods such as tapping technique, the technique involved skilled free see, the technique involved consider ably, recording techniques and note techniques. Techniques in the form of a conversation methods and techniques of fishing techniques capable semuka. Presentation of the results of this study using formal and informal methods of presentation. Results of this study have concluded that (1) Variation marker linguistic registers in the community AMC (a) phonological variation, (b) morphological variation (c) variations in syntax. The phonological variation found in the AMC involves the removal of the nasal phonemes and their place names beginning with / b / and / d /. Morphological variation of language usage AMC there is a tendency that affixes calendar prefix {happened}. Syntactic variation AMC includes the use incomplete sentences; (2) factors that cause variation in the language of the AMC is (a) the time and place and situation, (b) participants, (c) objectives, (d) the form and content of speech, (e) manner or tone, (f ) different languages, (g) norms or rules interact, and (h) the type or form of delivery; (3) the meaning of the typical terms used in the AMC include: (a) the term natural conditions, (b) the terms of objects, (c) the terms of activities, and (d) the term designation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe ineffective sentences on the "Opinion" rubric of Pendapa Tamansiswa magazine. In the detail of purpose, this research is to describe (1) the ineffectiveness of words selection, (2) the ineffectiveness of sentences structure, and (3) the uncertainty of apply spelling words. Kind of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data of this research is the ineffectiveness sentences in the "Opinion" rubric of Pendapa Tamansiswa magazine. The source data of this research is “Opinion” rubric on  Pendapa Tamansiswa magazine. In this research the source data from magazines that were published from 2005 until 2015. From eight Pendapa Tamansiswa magazines, there are eleven rubric opinions. The method of providing data is listening. The technique of provision data uses listening technique and note technique. The method to the analysis of data is agih method, while the analysis technique of data use the base technique for direct element., with other techniques like replace technique, expansion technique, return technique, and disappeared technique. The result this research is a description of ineffectiveness sentences in the “Opinion” rubric of Pendapa Tamansiswa magazine. From 631 sentences that were analyzed, there are 263 sentences or several 41,68 % that not effective. There are ineffectiveness sentences. (1) The ineffectiveness of words selection as many as 59 sentences or 9,35 %, includes (a) the ineffectiveness of words selection and (b) the incompatibility words selection. (2) the ineffectiveness of sentence structure are 46 sentences or 7,29% includes (a) not the unity of ideas, (b) the blend sentence, (c) the waste of sentence, (d) not synchronous sentences, (e) not logically sentences. (3) Spelling inaccuracy several 132 sentences or 20,92% , includes (a) the improper use of letters, (b) the inaccurate of writing, (c) the imprecise use of punctuation, and (d) the inaccuracy of writing the absorption element. (4) The mixed effectiveness amount of 26 sentences or 4,12% , includes (a) the ineffectiveness of word choices and the ineffectiveness of sentence structure, (b) the ineffectiveness of word choices and inaccuracy of spelling  amount, (c) the ineffectiveness of sentences structure and inaccuracy of spelling, and (d) the ineffectiveness of word choices and the ineffectiveness of sentences structure and inaccuracy of spelling.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the assessment form of the knowledge aspects contained in the Indonesian High School Curriculum 2013 textbooks. The research data are phrases, words, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, and discourses that contain content about assessment forms of knowledge contained in the textbook. Data is obtained by documentation techniques then validated by expert judgment and FGD. Data is analyzed with interactive analysis techniques. The results of the research included assessment forms of knowledge aspects of class X and XI in Indonesian textbooks in  Curriculum 2013. Assessment Forms of knowledge aspects of class X textbooks include entries, descriptions, question, and answer, and assignments while in class XI include multiple choices, incorrect, fill, description, and assignment.

Abstract

This paper explains the knowledge, attitudes, enthusiasm, and ideology of female legislative candidates as stated in posters in public spaces. Using the theory of critical discourse analysis, this paper explains the characteristics of the contents of the slogans of women legislative candidates. It assumes verbal formulation on posters that are supported by the knowledge, attitudes, enthusiasm, and ideology of legislative candidates who are part of the posters posted in the public space.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe similarities and differences between Rongga language in East Manggarai with Bajawa language in Ngada terms of vocabulary. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study in the form vocabulary by Rongga language in East Manggarai and Bajawa language in Ngada based of 200 Swadesh Vocabulary plus 100 Prof. H. Kern vocabulary. Therefore, that used data in this research is the vocabulary in Rongga language and Bajawa language it has relation with thats 300 vocabularies. Source of data in this study is the user of the Rongga language in East Manggarai and Bajawa language in Ngada. Data collection methods used in this study can be replicated with te infoman interview about Rongga language vocabulary and Bajawa vocabulary language.  Results of this study can be a sign that based on the 200 Swadesh vocabulary plus 100 vocabularies by Prof Kern, that was find 277 vocabulary (92,3%) it has realisation by the vocabulary. By the 277 vocabulary, was find 116 vocabulary that same between the Rongga Language and Bajawa Language, and was find  that different 55 vocabulary  between Rongga language and Bajawa language. Finally, can be find the conclusion that is between Rongga language and  Ngada language it has the realisation.

Abstract

The aims of the research are to describe these subjects. (1) Facts story from the novel Pulang; (a) plot, (b) characters and characterization, (3) The sttinngs which used by the author to show socialogical probtem in the novel. (4) Civilians  pitcrures in  the  novel  “Pulang”. (5) Social protest in the novel  Pulang.  This rescarch  is  one  of the descriptiv ,qualitative  rescarch’s  kind . Data used in the from of senteces  and pragrahs.  These  data   are  obtained   from  the  second  colition   of  the  novel “Pulang”  by  Leila  S . Chundori.  The instruments of  this  research  is  the  researsher   herself   with  several  theories  of  intrinsic and  literature‘s  socialogical as  the  knife  of  analysis.  The  method and techniques of data collection used in this study are non-interactive and reading and note techniques.  The method and techniques of data analysis in this research is descriptive method and descriptive analysis. The results  of  this  research   are   as   follows. (1) Facts story from the novel “Pulang”; (a) showing  that  the author  applied  a flashback  plot, (b) characters  and   characterizations  from the novel  “Pulang”  are  composed of one main character and four additional character  with a simple gesture,  (c)  the  setting  in  this  novel  are  tateing  place  from  some  cities  of  different  countrry. by  using  time  interval  on  1998’s   social incident. (4)  Pictures  of  the  society  captured  in  this novel   are  from  exiled  families,  political  families,  their   limitness  from  some  access  in  the  country  and   their love to their  nation. (5) The kind of social protest shown in the novel “Pulang” is a social-politics protest for the ruler  and  social- politic  protest  for society.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are (1) to describe the respond of readers towards love verse novel (novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta), (2) to describe horizon expectation of readers towards love verse novel, and (3) to describe the factors influencing the different responds and horizon expectation of readers. The data of the research is paragraph unity covering the respond of readers towards love verse novel and the source of the data are articles and paper published in mass media and electronic media including internet. The instrument is the researcher supplied by a set of concept about readers, respond to readers, and horizon expectation. The data were collected by observation and data analysis technique is done by descriptive analysis technique. The results are (1) most of the readers (80-100%) give positive substance as the theme, plot, characters and characterization, setting, the point of view, language style, title, the technique of storytelling, spelling, solution, language and extrinsic novel of love verse. (2) before reading the novel most of reader expect that they expect that it will be appropriate with the twelve elements in the novel, so they can easily understand the novel with full commendation, (3) the factors that make the differences are caused by the different stressing to the material, the lack of knowledge about their literary understanding, their experience of life about literary works.

Abstract

The aims  of this  study  was  to  describe  (1)  the  structure  of  novel  that  include characters and characterization, background, and plot, (2) social aspects, (3) social change the main character in the novel Partikel of Dewi Lestari. Types of research is qualitative research. This study data in the form of units of paragraphs or discourse in the novel Partikel. Data source in this research novel Partikel of Dewi Lestari. This research use instrument equipped concept or theory characters and characterization, background, plot, social aspects, and social change. Method of collecting this research use formal methods, to read the whole novel. Data collection technique this research in a way to read the whole novel, observe, and notes data obtained from data card. Data analysis methods is qualitative methods. Data analysis technique use descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show novel Partikel related element. The results which is obtained. (1) The structure of novel that (a) include characters and characterization of novel Partikel is Zarah main character and additional figures is Firas, Aisyah, Koso, Paul, Storm and Simon Hardiman. Figure Zarah be told as a desperate man (b) background in novel Partikel is Batu Luhur, Kebun Raya Bogor, Bukit Jambul, and background times is morning, evening, night, social background is social on, social medium, and lower social, (3) and plot in novel Partikel groove mix (2) social aspects in novel Partikel aspect of love that include love of family, love of best friend, love of girl or boyfriend, cultural aspect is Sundanese culture and western culture (3) social change the main character in the novel Partikel of Dewi Lestari changes desired when Zarah decided to work on a Tanjung Puting, change is not desired when loss of harmony, fast change when Zarah receive the Nikon camera’s, slow changes when decide school, small change when Zarah decide formal school, and big change when Zarah join in The A-Team.

Abstract

The aims of this research are describing (1) the intransitive verb patterns in Rahong - Manggarai Dialect, (2) the intransitive verb types in Rahong - Manggarai Dialect, and (3) the intransitive verb meaning in Rahong - Manggarai Dialect.This research applied descriptive qualitative research. The Data were sentences containing verbs /the intransitive verb in Manggaraidialect. The data sources were Manggarai language used by The West Manggarai students‟ family association (Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Manggarai Barat). The data collection technique used observation method and its continual method: observation involves a free interview. The data analysis technique was pair-sort technique as a determiner, translational sorting another language as a determiner, and apportion method which using deletion technique. The result data presentation method used the informal method.The research results are (1) the intransitive verb patterns used by students were: (a) infinitive intransitive verbs, (b) affix intransitive verbs. (2) Types – the intransitive verb types: (a) the intransitive complement verbs, (b) the intransitive- obligatory complement verbs, (c) the optional intransitive verbs. (3)The intransitive verb meanings are (a) inherent action meaning, (b) inherent process meaning, (c) inherent situational meaning.
