Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out, 1) a negative relationship between juvenile delinquency and learning achievement, 2) a relationship between the social function of family and the learning achievement, and 3)  a relationship between juvenile delinquency and social function of family on learning achievement  in class XI student  Majoring in Vocational Culinary 4 Yogyakarta.  This research includes the study of ex post fact. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation testing instrument research. Technique of analysis data using descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing  using multiple regression test was preceded two predictor test requirements analysis is the normality test, linearity and zero level. The result showed that 1) there is no negative relationship between juvenile delinquency and learning achievement with relationship coefficient  of -0,098<0,18, 2)There is a positive relationship and the significant social function of family and learning achievement with relationship coefficient of 0,350>0,181. 3) there is a significant positive relationship juvenile delinquency and family social functions together with learning achievement with relationship coefficient of 0,649>0.181. and F count =11,693<F table =3,09. Determinant coefficient  between juvenile delinquency family social functioning and academic achievement of 0,220 means that juvenile delinquency and social function the family to contribute to learning achievement of 22 % delinquency relative contribution amounted to 39,94% on learning achievement  and function family social relative contribution of 60,06) on learning achievement. Juvenile delinquency give effective contribution of 8,78% on the learning achievement and social function of family give the effective contribution amount to 13,22% of the learning achievement with a total of 22%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) nutrient intake, (2) learning activities, and (3) nutritional intake relationship with learning activity Taman Muda (SD) Tamansiswa Sekota Yogyakarta. The research population is students and students in Taman Muda (SD) Tamansiswa Sekota Yogyakarta with 94 students. This study included sample research. Random sampling technique, ie sample taken 60% plus 10% for missing data. Thus, the sample of this study was 57 + 6 = 63. This study included the type of ex-post facto research. The data tested the validity, reliability and data analysis techniques Product Moment correlation. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables between nutritional intake with learning activities. The determinant coefficient (R2) is 0.310, meaning that the contribution contribution of nutritional variable to learning activity variable is 31%, while the rest 69% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this research. Keywords: nutritional intake, learning activity

Abstract

Globalization era in free competition of goods and service is a challenge which can change any aspects of social life. The condition stimulates over buying behavior (materialistic behavior) and becomes threat because it tends to be consumptive behavior causing many human life values loose. The phenomena can fall out good manner norms, time accuracy, trusteeship, empathy, respect to the different ideas to other people. It is predicted that consumerism behavior happens because of the lack of knowledge, attitude, and skills in managing finance or intelligent finance in consumption. It happens because they are not prepared as early as possible to face market in respecting the value of money, either by family or school so that the consciousness of consumer is weak because of the low education. The main step to do is empowering to the consumer through constructing and educating to society. Constructing society can done through family and school. It needs to build the consciousness of consume well in the position as consumer although it is the right of the consumer as a form of consumer protection. Construction society through educating consumer, in which there is values of life, is expected to direct to the cultivating which build good consumer character in social life. The values of educating consumer is a part of education which is necessary to cultivate step by step and continue to grow and develop the consumer consciousness to be a good personal character to avoid consumerism culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) the relationship of the utilization of the practice facility with the learning achievement of the fashion industry, (2) the utilization of the practice facility, and (3) the learning achievement of the industrial clothing making. This study includedex post facto research. The sampling technique used randomly with sample of 66 respondents. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation methods. Data is tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques and product moment correlation analysis techniques. The results is a positive and significant relationship between the utilization of practical facilities with learning achievements of industrial fashion making. The contribution of the utilization of practice facilities to the learning achievement of industrial fashion is 32.5%, while the remaining 67.5% is not discussed in this study. Keywords: utilization of practice facility, learning achievement of fashion industry

Abstract

This research is to know the factors influencing the choice of dress for mothers and daughters in KecamatanGondomanan, covering: 1) the choice of model, 2) the choice of cloth (material), 3) the comfortable of wearing. The questions are what factors influencing the choice of dress and what are the reasons. It is a descriptive research, conducted in KecamatanGondomanan Yogyakarta. The number of population is 100 rspondents, the sampel is 70 respondents taken by incidental technique. To explore the data, the quesionaire is used. The data is analyzed by descriptive analysis. From the research results, it is known that 58,6% select kuthubarudress model, 21,4% select moslem dress, and 20% select modification dress. The reason to thekuthubaru selection is that the dress is polite with simple materials and comfort to wear; those who select moslemdressare cause by the aprropraieness to the Islamic rules and it is alson comfortable; modification models are selected bacuse the model is up to date, it is not old fashion, it has some variation and glamour, and the users feel more self-confidence.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze theinfluence of learning outcomes of industrypractice on students' readiness. This type ofresearch is ex-post facto. Methods of datacollection using questionnaires anddocumentation. Data analysis technique usingdescriptive analysis and hypothesis test usingProduct Moment correlation precededprerequisite analysis test, that is the test ofnormality and linearity. The researchpopulation is all students of class XII ofDepartment of Clothing, Light VehicleTechnique and Motorcycle Technique whichhas conducted industrial practice at SMKNegeri 8 Purworejo. Sampling techniqueusing proportional random sampling were 93students. The results showed that there was apositive and significant effect on industrialpractice learning outcomes on job readiness,with a contribution of 28.9%. The contributionis relatively small because students have notbeen able to utilize the cognitive, affective,and psychomotor abilities gained in schools toprepare themselves in the real world of work.Most only follow the practice of industry asthe task of the school that must beimplemented without trying to improveknowledge and skill

Abstract

ass="Apple-interchange-newline"> The objectives of this research are toknow: (1) the information of the income of thesmall industry “kue cucur”, and (2) the growthof the “kue cucur” home industry in GiricahyoVillage. The research used the qualitative approach. The subjects of the research are theresidents of Giricahyo Village who run thesmall industry “kue cucur”. They are the producers, seller, neighbors of the “kue cucur”producers and public figure. The research wasconducted in January 2016 to March 2016. Thedata were collected through interviews, observations, and documentations. The data werevalidated using sources triangulation with 3supporting informants. The data analyses usedwere data collecting, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The results of theresearch are as follows: (1) the effects of theproduction of “kue cucur” in Giricahyo Villageis positive to the social and economy sectors. Inthe social sector, the production of “kue cucur” creates a new job vacancy and the societycan own new skills in the industrial field andcan socialize with the other societies, prioritizethe cooperation and do not cause the environmental pollution; (2) the growth of “kue cucur”small industry in Giricahyo village is thechanging of workers, production process, andquality of “kue cucur” and until now the industry is still run by almost all heads of the familyin Giricahyo Village.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to determine the knowledge of learners of food processing, skills of learners to process Indonesian food, the relationship of food processing knowledge with the skills of processing food Indonesia. This study includes ex post facto research. Instrument result data tested validity and reliability, data analysis technique using Product Moment correlation. The results showed that the knowledge of food processing in sufficient category, the skills of processing Indonesian food in the category enough, there is a positive relationship and significant knowledge of food processing with food processing skills of Indonesia. The determinant coefficient (R²) is 0.283, meaning that the contribution given by food processing knowledge to Indonesian food processing skill is 28.3%, while the remaining 71.7% is influenced by other factors.Keywords: food processing knowledge, Indonesian food processing skills

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to investigate(1) the use of practical method can improve the quality of learning and (2) the use of practical method can increase the activity of students of SMPN 5 Panggang  Gunungkidul Yogyakarta in following learning PKK.The type of the research is classroom action research. The subjects of the research grade IX students. There were 20 students. The object of the research is the teaching and learning process. The instruments of the research are observation sheet and test. The data were collected though descriptive quantitative technigue. The finding of the research shows that partical method can improve the quality of learning practice of PKK in SMPN 5 Panggang Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. The improvement of the PKK learning process can be seen from the result of the test in each cycle. In cycle I, there was on improvement of the average from 53,25 in the pre-liminary study into 58,25 with 10% improvement of classical mastery. In cycle II, the average was 69,25 with classical mastery increased 35% above the researchers target. In conclusion, practical method can be applied to improve the quality of PKK learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: Internal Factors and External Factors that affect the basic learning outcomes of sewing technology. The population of the study were the students of X class of fashion in SMK Negeri 1 Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta, which numbered 128 students from 4 classes. This study included is quantitative descriptive research. Technique of sampling usingproportional random sampling with amount of sample 74 student. The data collection technique used questionnaire and tested to 30 students outside the sample but still in one population. Data tested the validity, reliability and data analysis techniques product moment correlation. The results showed that the factors that influence the basic learning outcomes of technology sewing X class students in fashion majors most of the respondents in the category enough. Based on these data, the factors that influence the basic learning result of sewing technology are internal factor with 52,6%.Keywords: the factors that influence the learning outcomes.
