Abstract

Internal communication has been the corner stone of any organization operations. Traditionally, paper based communication is the fundamental ways of doing things for many organizations and this is also true for University of Atma Jaya Makassar. With the increasingly competitive business environment, digital communication system proofs its importance to tackle ineffective and various problems arise from the traditionally paper based communication system. Employing prototype software development method, the prototype of digital communication system for University of Atma jaya Makassar is designed to handle internal communication, standardize communication method and reduce cost of communication. The resulting system is structured based on the ongoing paper based communication structure and integrated through the existing local area network as well as application platform

Abstract

Student’s assignment is one of component in the course assessment. The problem that can be found is a student copied the work of another student or can be called plagiarism. There are several ways to detect plagiarism based on similarity text, such as n-gram technique. In this research, Sorensen-Dice Coefficient is used to get the percentage of similarity text between the documents of student’s assignment and detection of plagiarism limited to text documents. N values that used in this research are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and obtained best N value is 7 based on the average of difference relevance

Abstract

One of the factors that affect services in supermarkets is the efficiency of the time. The efficiency of the time can be done by utilizing the technology of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The purpose of this research is to design a simulated point of sale system using Radio Frequency Identification to time efficiency in services at the supermarket. The results of this research is a Point of Sale system simulation by using RFID technology and has been declared eligible to use based on the results of the interviews and simulations directly involving 9 of 14 employees of the cashier at Gelael Signature Makassar.Keywords: Point of Sale System Simulation, RFID, Spiral , Supermarket.

Abstract

Library Information System that is used by the library of Atma Jaya Makassar University (UAJM) is currently used to assist library management in cataloging, book circulation, procurement and membership but there are problems in service to students who cannot be handled. Lack of services to students such as information on book content, services for access to theses, thesis examination services, library free services, book request services, and a slow service process. In this study, the author develops the UAJM library information system that is used today by synchronizing student data in the added services and the current system used with SIAMIK. Development is carried out by adding information services needed by students such as the problems that the author describes. System testing results are considered feasible as the development of the previous system and the resulting system can be used by students in obtaining the information needed so that the performance of services to students increases. Keywords: Library Information System, prototype, University, Web Programming.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Indonesian Air Force Hospital dr. Dody Sarjoto Makassar. Like government and private hospitals in general, the Air Force Hospital dr. Dody Sarjoto Makassar also implements a system of distribution of Health Personnel Services (JTK) or to the Government Hospital commonly known as Remuneration for Medical Services. The division of JTK is an important thing to consider, because it is related to the welfare of medical staff and paramedics. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based system that can manage patient service data and help the hospital in calculating the JTK division. The method used in designing this system is the SDLC Waterfall method. The result of this system is that it can assist the cashier and treasurer in managing the patient service data of the General Community and optimize the time in the process of making the JTK division.Keywords: Administration, Distribution of Health Services, JTK Distribution Hospital, Remuneration

Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to develop a mobile-based course monitoring system at Atma Jaya Makassar University Faculty of Information Technology, which focuses on feedback services for stakeholders. This research was carried out using waterfall methodology, which consists of a number of stages carried out systematically. Through this research, it is known that the mobile-based feedback service can improve the monitoring function in lecturing process through transparency and availability of information for stakeholders, as well as feedback to be evaluated in conducting lectures.

Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is to develop e-commerce services on FTI-UAJM as a means by which students become entrepreneurs. The study was conducted using a waterfall methodology, consisting of a number of stages performed systematically. Through this research, it is known that the system can assist the academic community in marketing their work and also the practice means for students who take the technopreneur course, where the system is integrated directly with the technopreneur course so that it can be monitored directly and evaluated by the lecturer.
