Abstract

Traffic accident are the third killer in the world after HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis. Factors that cause accidents classified by elements of the transportation system itself are the road user, vehicle, road and environment. In this research apply fuzzy logic to control the vehicle speed limits by using Mamdani inference method. This research was carried out to control the driver so that not to accelerate the vehicle exceeds a predetermined speed limit based on surrounding circumstances. Circumstances which are used as variables: class, weather and distance between vehicles. The results of this research have been successfully made speed control vehicle simulation with fuzzy logic in matlab r2012a

Abstract

Today, Collection of image data on the Internet is growing rapidly in terms of quantity. In parallel with this a method of content -based image retrieval (Content -based image retrieval) is needed in the process of identifying and accessing visual information. Content -based image retrieval basically simulates the human perception of an image so that an error occurred in the text -based retrieval methods can be overcome. In this research, the image retrieval system is implemented with the extraction of low level features of the image. Low-level information used in this study is the color information contained in the image. Composition of color pixels in an image can be represented in a color histogram. The degree of similarity between the image color is determined based on the distance between the histogram using Laplace distance and Euclidean distance. The smaller the distance between the histogram, the higher the percentage of similarity of an image. Results of image retrieval through the database will be displayed according to the query by example method performed by a user, based on the sequence of images that have a higher percentage of similarity.

Abstract

Student’s assignment is one of component in the course assessment. The problem that can be found is a student copied the work of another student or can be called plagiarism. There are several ways to detect plagiarism based on similarity text, such as n-gram technique. In this research, Sorensen-Dice Coefficient is used to get the percentage of similarity text between the documents of student’s assignment and detection of plagiarism limited to text documents. N values that used in this research are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and obtained best N value is 7 based on the average of difference relevance

Abstract

This paper focuses on the design of accounting information systems making in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar. Where the current system is currently experiencing a lot of problems due to limited human resources, especially in managing partial phase still use the recording in the books and another part that is still simple to use application. This study uses structured design, program PHP, and MySQL as data storage and DB Designer as an analytical tool. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of designing a system that can help the processing of accounting data cooperative savings and loan information Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar and generate accounting reports on the management of savings and loans cooperatives Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar

Abstract

Course scheduling problem belongs to the category of NP - hard (Non - deterministic polynomial - time complex). The complexity of solving course scheduling problems give an indication to the limits of the constraints to the problem. The application of evolutionary algorithms with Generation Replacement Methods on Course scheduling problem (Case Study of the University of Atma Jaya Makassar) can give an indication on the problem of scheduling constraints that limit each faklutas at Atma Jaya University, Makassar. Simulation results showed that scheduling constraints limit in any faculty at the University of Atma jaya Makassar depends on the size of the population space and the number of genes that are raised to fill the space where the population or chromosome problem complexity increases with introduction of restrictions on the scheduling of such sessions , space , semester and faculty and computational complexity of the problem requires greater resources in line with the increasing restrictions being introduced
