Abstract

The content of this article is about group guidance services to foster an honest attitude through conditioning. Honest attitude is a positive attitude that is owned by individuals, honesty can be formed through the environment in which the individual interacts. Group Guidance Service is one of the efforts of the counseling service program, which in the process of group guidance services utilizes group dynamics as a form of guidance effort by providing information about honesty material as an effort to habituate group guidance participants so that group guidance participants take advantage of their honest attitude to habituation in the environment where the individual is located. The method used refers to the type of qualitative-descriptive research using a library research approach, with the ultimate goal of obtaining a general and comprehensive picture of the efforts of group guidance services in forming honest attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to deal with schizophrenia patients using a spiritual approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation at the Rehabilitation Home for Pondok Tetirah Dzikir Kuton Tegaltirto Berbah Sleman Yogyakarta. In fostering schizophrenia patients, the Institution for Rehabilitation uses a therapeutic service program which is also an integrated service program, spiritually carried out by religious methods namely Tareqat Qadariyah al-Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) Suryalaya which is therapeutic: bathing repentance, prayer, dzikr, khataman, manaqiban, fasting, pilgrimage, religious studies and other practices. Then physically, it is carried out with routine medical examinations, exercise, and community service. All of that is done to train the physical and spiritual health of a patient with schizophrenia. From the results of the study, it can be seen that this approach is able to handle schizophrenia patients through planting values and spirituality into their souls, although it cannot be said to be fully healed, but this development can minimize the occurrence of undesirable things and when the soul is sick the treatment starts with his soul also.

Abstract

This article discusses the pattern of fostering deviant behavior that occurs among students. This research took place in Islamic boarding school to become one of the institutions of education that is fairly old in the Indonesian nation. In addition, Islamic boarding schools are also known as institutions to deepen knowledge and foster student morals. Therefore, each boarding school has a different pattern of coaching. This study uses field research (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The aim is to be able to describe the results of the analysis in detail. This problem attracts the attention of the writer to examine the pattern of guidance of students in controlling deviant behavior. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the factors causing deviant behavior of students are influenced by the family environment, boarding schools/schools and peers. As for the pattern of fostering santri in controlling deviant behavior in the boarding school of ar-Risalah, the village uses three coaching patterns, namely a preventive pattern, a repressive pattern and a curative pattern. Patterns of prevention are carried out to keep the delinquency from happening. Repressive patterns when students have deviant behavior so there must be consequences for the students. And curative control pattern is given if the pattern of preventive and repressive can not be a solution in controlling deviant behavior of students.

Abstract

Self Confidence is one of the attitudes that every student needs to have. Low self confidence possessed by students can hinder their development, including in the learning process. Various attempts have been made by guidance and counseling teachers to foster students self confidence, one of which is through content mastery services. But in fact the services that have been provided have not achieved maximum results, so the purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of content mastery services using talk card media to increase the confidence of grade VII students of SMP VIP PESAWAT Wates Kulon Progo. The method used in this research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative which is designed in the form of guidance and counseling action research. The subjects in this study were 29 grade VII students of SMP VIP PESAWAT Wates Kulon Progo who were determined with special characteristics, namely students with low self confidence. Based on the results of the analysis of this action research, it can be concluded that there is an increase in self confidence obtained from the results of implementing content mastery services with talk card media for class VII students of SMP VIP PESAWAT Wates Kulon Progo. Keywords: Content Mastery Services; Talking Cards; Self Confidence

Abstract

This paper talks about culture which has a role as a communication tool in education. The aim to be achieved in this study is that culture is an element that has influence in the process of education, and has a role as a tool to interact in education. Culture and education are two things that are interconnected. Because in education there is a cultural transmission. To understand the value of cultural activities as an educational tool, we must clarify understanding of basic concepts such as: Creativity is a process in which an individual, as a result of his personal abilities and opportunities and in his interactions with his environment, will look for new and / or original products that are adequate for the situation in question this product can be concrete or abstract. Interaction and communication, Interaction is reciprocal attention between two people (or more) to one another or to an object or third person. Partners in this interaction focus their attention on the same goal (one another or third person or a certain object). This mutual attention is often responded to by gestures, speeches or actions. Whereas Communication means first of all sharing. We share and exchange interests, feelings, thoughts, opinions or information with a series of media codes, which are formed as signals and symbols, which can be understood and used by all communication partners.

Abstract

This study aims to find the therapeutic strategies to the gay victims. The phenomenon of the rising of the gay community is increasingly worrying, of course that behavior is abnormal for Indonesians, especially for Muslims. This community actually began to grow in 1982 in Solo, 1985 in Yogyakarta, 1993 in Pekanbaru, 1999 in Surabaya, and still exists in cyberspace (social media). The research method applied is a qualitative approach with the type of composed hermeneutics research analysis, with the object study of therapeutic thought of Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyah and the examined subject in the RSC-M Malang (Ruqyah Syar'iyyah Center Malang). The study found four therapeutic strategies that can be applied to the gay victims. First, the main focus of intervention is in mind/belief intervention. Second, the target towards an ideal person is the transfer from a sinful person to a person who obeys God's commandments and avoids His prohibition. Third, analysis and diagnosis is efforts to identify and find the errors in the chain of perception, belief, sex drive, behavior, and habit of the gay victims. Fourth, the application of homosexual victim alleviation techniques consists of prevention and healing pathways, prevention pathways is in the form of 'self-training' subjecting themselves to the same things, while healing pathways is in the form of the application of intervention techniques of the mind, self-conversion and statements of repentance and istigfar, as well as the worship therapy. The recommendations of this study is to be applied by practitioners and counsellors in providing counselling services to the gay victims.

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the nature of religious attitudes, factors that affect the attitude of religious, characteristics and development, the components and forms and how to develop the attitude of religious learners. The method used is library research and analyzed by reflective thinking. Based on the findings can be seen that the attitude of religious learners basically an internal state that exists in the learners that formed through interaction with the environment. The characteristics and development of the religious attitudes of each learner vary according to the stages of development. These differences can be seen from the cognitive, affective and conative aspects. Establishment and development of a stance must begin early and be done according to their cognitive characteristics, emotions and level of consciousness. There are two ways that can be done to grow and develop the attitude of religious learners, namely: First, the internalization of Islamic values. Internalization of Islamic values can be done by giving exemplary, suggestive and correction and social impulse. Second, creating a religious environment in the family, school and community.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the "study business" program as a new idea in boosting the interest of young people who want to become more religious, wealthier, successful, on the pilgrimage, and enter heaven. This article uses descriptive qualitative research, data collection methods through observation and interviews, with analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the process of implementing the "study business" program in the Da’wa Terace was by telling stories about the actions of business by Gus Madkhan and Haji Thariq, giving material from bankruptcy, having a lot of debt, giving alms to rising and building businesses to become successful. With this program, young people are interested in trying to open a business or open business opportunities in order to achieve success, become rich so that they can give alms more, can go on pilgrimage, become pious people and then go to heaven.

Abstract

Parent's attention and the general public attention toward children development tend to be more directed to cognitive aspect and psychomotor aspect. It is also suspected to occur to the educators and managers of educational institutions especially in the formal school. School as a place to prepare children to live better in the future presents the materials/subjects that emphasizes on the children's cognitive development. In fact, to live does not merely depend on academic intelligence. Moreover, the emotional side of an individual can even hold a more dominant role than academic intelligence. In line with the school's objective to develop the student's competencies from various aspects, it needs to realize that there are some psychological sides that should also be developed in the classroom learning process, such as self-control, achievement needs and mastership, and self esteem. Talking about self-esteem, almost all psychologists believe that it affects someone's behavior which would also influence his presence in social environment. Self esteem is not formed solely from heredity, but is also influenced by the environment or the self system beyond. Generally, changing the behavior of students can be empowered by educational sectors, in which the guidance and counseling services are parts of the education. By providing guidance group service using the technique of suggestion can improve the students' self esteem. The importance of the techniques of suggestion in guidance services need to be accompanied by a monitoring counselor in the school, so that it is really programmed to be able to increase the students' self-esteem.

Abstract

This article illustrates how bullying behavior occurs in the world of education, especially schools. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis, by looking for things related to bullying that occur at school. Bullying is one of the problems in school and is difficult to eliminate. Bullying has become a widespread concern, but bullying has not shown a decline. There are many negative effects caused by bullying, both from people who suffer from bullying and victims of bullying. Guidance and counseling teachers as important actors in the world of education need to obtain information to overcome this problem. Because if the behavior of bullying has become a common thing to do, it will result in the education process not being good. Everyone is free to take action that will cause disruption of the education process at school. In conditions like this, guidance and counseling are very important in improving and eliminating the bullying behavior that exists in school. That way, the conditions that should be created in the school environment, namely mutual respect and respect.
