Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between students' mathematics learning outcomes by type of cooperative learning think-pair-share and conventional learning on the subject of arithmetic operations in the algebra of class VII SMP Negeri 10 Samarinda. The study was conducted in SMP Negeri 10 Samarinda, the population of all students of class VII. This research is quasi-experimental. The sampling technique used in this research is the purpose cluster sampling. This research sample there are two classes, VIID as an experimental class (40 students), class of cooperative learning by think-pair-share and class VIIa as a control class (40 students), class by learning konvensional.Instrumen used in this study is a written test (initial test and final test). The conclusion that there are differences in mathematics between student learning outcomes by type of cooperative learning think-pair-share and conventional learning on the subject of arithmetic operations in the algebra of class VII SMP 10. The results of mathematical learning using cooperative learning model of think-pair- better share when compared with the results of mathematical learning using conventional learning models.Keywords: Learning Model, Think-Pair-Share, Conventional and learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the discipline of teachers' work. The study population was 56 teachers of SMP Negeri scattered at 2 schools. Given the limited population, this study is a population study where the sample is the entire population of the State school teachers in Muara Jawa.The research method using correlation and regression. The study found that the variables that affect the discipline of teachers 'work is variable Principal Leadership (X1) at a very strong level of closeness, namely 0.912, teachers' work motivation (X2) with variable at a strong level of closeness, that is equal to 0.865.It is concluded that the increase in labor discipline teachers of SMP Negeri Muara Jawa Se can be done by improving the leadership of the principal and teachers work motivation. Researchers suggested that the relevant parties can make efforts to promote the leadership of the principal and teachers work motivation in order to achieve a good working discipline at teachers of SMP Negeri In Muara Jawa.Keywords : Leadership Principal, Teacher Work Motivation, Discipline Work

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the state of the Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities of SMP Yapan Indonesia. (2) a state of spiritual intelligence in junior high school students of Yapan Indonesia (3) efforts in the development of spiritual intelligence Yapan Indonesian junior high school students through extracurricular activities spiritual Islam. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. In determining the sample, the researcher use purposive sampling, and the "snowball" technique. The main instrument in this study were researchers. Information about the research themes were explored by the investigators through participatory observation techniques, interviews, literature and documentation. The validity of the data tested credibility through the extension of participation, persistence observation, tringulasi, peer discussion and the adequacy of reference and transferability, dependability and confirmability The results of this study concluded the following matters that (1) Various activities in extracurricular activities Rohis, starting from the daily program, weekly program and annual program to support the development of spiritual intelligence of junior high school students in Yapan Indonesia. (2) Characteristics of junior high school students in Yapan Indonesia which has a spiritual intelligence is high, demonstrated by the following namely: the student is able to resolve this problem without emotion, the students were able to comply with the existing regulations, students are able to develop their creativity, the students are able to reflect on the problems faced and students are able to act positively oriented values of Godhead. (3) A number of efforts made by the extracurricular activities Rohis, in developing spiritual intelligence student, pursued through: (a) changing the personality of the students better, (b) foster students' creativity in developing potential, (c) foster social caring , (d) foster self-reflection on the problems faced, (e) raising the awareness level of students that have clear purpose in life with the mission and vision in life, and (f) foster the attitudes of students to act positively oriented values of Godhead.

Abstract

 The aim of this research is to describe the percentage of class IX students of SMPN at Yogyakarta City who get difficulties in terms of the types of difficulty based on solving problem steps in all math materials and based on each material such as arithmetics, algebra, statistics and geometry. This research is included in survey research with quantitative approaches. The research result suggests that at diagnostic test of all materials, the percentage of students who have reading difficulty is 47.4%, comprehension difficulty 51.5%, transformation difficulty 74.3%, process skill difficulty 80.4%, and encoding difficulty 80.4%. For arithmetics materials the reading difficulty is 52,.6%, comprehension difficulty 68.1%, transformation difficulty 94.8%, process skill difficulty 95.8%, and encoding difficulty 95.8%. As for algebra materials the reading difficulty is 61.8%, comprehension difficulty 65.9%, transformation difficulty 77.3%, process skill difficulty 80.4%, and encoding difficulty 80.4%. For the statistics materials the reading difficulty is 54.6%, comprehension difficulty 54.6%, transformation difficulty 83.5%, process skill difficulty 91.7%, and encoding difficulty 91.7%. For the geometry materials reading difficulty is 34.1%, comprehension difficulty 35.1%, transformation difficulty 51.5%, process skill difficulty 70.1%, and encoding difficulty 70.1%. Keywords: analysis of difficulties, difficulty of students, math problem solving

Abstract

National development in the field of education is an effort to educate the nation and build the Indonesian people to improve the quality of Indonesian human. National development in the field of education as well as the nation's efforts to create a generation of potential, competence, excellence and competitiveness in the world of work. In order to improve the teaching skills of teachers through training, we need a container for teachers in order to always be able to share knowledge, experience and information, whether it is through communication or consultation among fellow teachers. How does the teacher do a learning activity which requires several approaches and methods targeted, and can improve learning outcomes. This type of research used in this research is descriptive, after knowing the data for observations and the results of the activities MGMPs then the data were analyzed descriptively. Activities subject teachers Civics deliberations held on a monthly basis with a specific work program. The work program covers all the problems faced Civics teachers in the process of teaching and learning activities. In an effort to increase the quality of teaching and learning activities MGMPs Civics have contributed in terms of 1. Socialization preparation of the SBC. 2. Preparation of the syllabus SBC. 3. Preparation of instructional media. 4. Determine  SKL        KKM. 5. Develop the RPP. 6. Exploitation learning model Civics. 7. Analysis of the results of the evaluation. 8. Abstract

Al-Qur'an down in Arabic, it is highly recommended us to learning languages, so that we can read, interpret, understand and implement what is stated in the Qur'an. In this study using Ummi in reading the Qur'an. Ummi method focused on three things are concerned, namely: method quality, teacher quality, and systems that prioritize quality. In this study, researchers formulate problems, namely how Implementation Methods Ummi in enhancing the ability to read the Qur'an Grade SD III.B Ibnu Khaldun Al-Firdaus Samarinda Islamic School Year 2015/2016? The purpose of this study was to determine Impementasi Ummi method in elementary Islamic School Al-Firdaus Samarinda and know the increased ability to read the Qur'an class III.B Ibnu Khaldun in Al-Firdaus Islamic Elementary School Samarinda.This study is a qualitative descriptive aimed to describe that are taking place. In other words, a qualitative descriptive study aimed to obtain information about the existing situation. The present study examined children in elementary Islamic School Al- Firdaus Samarinda precisely graders III.B Ibnu Khaldun. The reason of choosing a place in the present study were researchers able to engage in a learning process directly and within a period that is long enough to do the research. So as to facilitate the research process.Based on the results of observations made by researchers that many children who have not been able remember short letters as well as readings and also its short length can not be read even if the letter hijaiyah but less well versed in reading the Qur'an. Meanwhile, after school using methods Ummi in reading the Qur'an post the results of tests conducted by researchers is seen the change between reading and memorizing is done by the students, seen from the analysis, because of the actions carried out by researchers really do ummi method implementation in accordance with what has been in written and explained by experts how to teach the method ummi ummi methods to students. Therefore it can be concluded that by using the method Ummi can improve the ability to read the Qur'an in class III.B Ibnu Khaldun in Al-Firdaus Islamic Elementary School Samarinda and implementation methods in primary Ummi Al-Firdaus Samarinda Islamic School has been running with good.

Abstract

Ilmu kimia dalam pembelajarannya membutuhkan metode yang bersifat eksperimental sehingga membutuhkan kegiatan praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi belajar siswa dengan penggunaan software virtual lab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari 23 siswa kelas XI keperawatan SMK Kesehatan Jamiatul Muttaqin Samarinda dan 1 guru mata pelajaran kimia. Variabel yang diukur adalah motivasi belajar siswa, data tersebut dikumpulkan dari hasil angket dan wawancara pada siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah motivasi belajar kimia siswa dengan penggunaan software virtual lab pada praktikum titrasi asam dan basa dapat dikategorikan Tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 73,28 %. Software Virtual lab dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan dapat menjadi alternatif bagi sekolah yang tidak memiliki laboratorium kimia.

Abstract

Eksistensi dan peranan pondok pesantren dalam bidang kehidupan sosial masyarakat, diperlukan perhatian yang serius. Manajemen yang tepat serta penyediaan dan peningkatan sumber daya manusia dalam bidang manajemen. Ketimpangan antara pesantren besar dan pesantren kecil begitu terlihat dengan jelas dalam hal pengelolaan pesantren.Manajemen menjadi kendala dalam melakukan aktivitas pesantren. Manajemen adalah suatu proses yang nyata dimulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan yang dilakukan untuk menentukan atau menyelesaikan sasaran yang telah ditetapkan dengan menggunakan orang dan sumber-sumber daya lainnya.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang informasi. Dengan model penelitian ini, peneliti dapat merumuskan masalah secara lebih rinci sehingga peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan suatu pengamatan wawancara secara mendalam.Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah manajemen program-program Pondok Pesantren Darul Ihsan Samarinda  berjalan dengan baik, tetapi ada beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan a) Perencanaan program pondok pesantren belum dilakukan oleh pimpinan pondok pesantren Darul Ihsan, hanya melibatkan kepala sekolah pada masing – masing level pendidikan.b)Kurangnya Kontrol dan koordinasi oleh pimpinan pondok, karena kesibukan- kesibukan pimpinan pondok diluar dari pondok.c)Pengawasan sangat  sulit, karena santri yang mondok kurang dari 30 % karena pondok ini adalah pondok yang semi modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah IPS SD yaitu melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran menggunakan Metode Kooperatif Model Jigsaw Ruang Kelas  A Semester I Jurusan PGSD  Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi keinginan peneliti untuk lebih meningkatkan kreativitas dan kualitas dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan IPS SD karena melihat dilapangan kretifitas dosen dalam pembelajaran masih konvensional dan monoton dan diikuti fenomena melemahnya kualitas peserta didik yang sangat terasa di tempat peneliti mengajar. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Ruang Kelas A Semester I Jurusan PGSD Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda yang berjumlah 50 orang mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes evaluasi, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan dari Miles dan Hubermen. Analisis data kualitatif adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang : 1) Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dengan Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif Model Jigsaw, 2) Aktivitas Belajar, 3) Respon mahasiswa, dan 4) Prestasi Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat melalui alat peraga mistar bilangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan alat peraga mistar bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya, yaitu siklus I dengan nilai rata – rata 55,3 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 32%, sedangkan pada siklus II dengan nilai rata – rata 70 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal 80%. Sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 48% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus III dengan nilai rata – rata 80,48 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal 100% sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20% dari siklus II ke siklus III. Dengan menggunakan alat peraga mistar bilangan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar, hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Persentase aktivitas pada siklus I sebesar 46%, sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 62%, sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 16% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Persentase aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus III sebesar 79,4%. Sehingga dapat diketahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar sebesar 17,4% dari siklus II ke siklus III. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan alat peraga mistar bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat kelas IV B SDN 005 Samarinda Ulu Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014
