Abstract

Protein consumption for the community is very important and must be known, because improving nutritional status is the basis for the formation of quality, healthy, intelligent, productive, and independent human resources in an area. The level of public protein consumption, especially from beef products, is strongly influenced by the conditions of product supply and demand, because these indicators also affect prices and the level of inflation in general. For this reason, research needs to be done specifically to analyze the effect of price, inflation and per capita expenditure on the protein consumption pattern of the people in Jambi Province. The design of this research is a quantitative analysis of time series data for the period 2007-2018 which is further analyzed by Path Analysis. The results showed that there was no direct influence between the variable foodstuff inflation (IBM) and Beef Price (HDS) on Community Per Capita Expenditure (PBM), but PBM had an effect on Community Protein Consumption (KPM). The indirect effect between IBM on KPM through PPM and HDS on KPM through PPM has a significant effect. To maintain a healthy condition for protein consumption in Jambi Province, the government needs to take policies such as maintaining a stable condition of foodstuff inflation and beef prices in the market.

Abstract

The problem that is faced by Islamic boarding school-based MSMEs is capital constraints. This capital constraint is due to the lack of information on MSME actors about how to apply for credit and how to utilize financing funds. Financial inclusion can be realized, there is a need for parties who have direct contact with the community, especially the lower middle class in terms of distributing micro credit. Therefore, the role of sharia banking and sharia cooperatives needs to be increased to increase the growth of MSMEs in Malang City, especially Sharia-based MSMEs so that financial inclusion can be realized. Based on the results of a survey conducted through the Cooperatives and MSMEs Offices, there are about 25 Sharia cooperatives with several criteria, namely cooperatives in Malang City that are legal entities. The multiple regression was chosen to be carried out in this research activity. The results of the study show that the good performance of an MSMEs can be seen from its entrepreneurial orientation because the increasing spirit of entrepreneurial orientation will motivate MSMEs to make innovations and be ready to face all possible risks in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the determinants of profitability of the 10 largest banks in Indonesia over 10 years (2010 to 2019). These 10 banks were selected because they are the beacon of health to the national banking sector and the economy. The EAGLES framework was applied to the analysis. A multiple regression equation was formulated using SPSS software to analyze the strength of correlation of nine independent financial indicators to the dependent variable, return of assets (ROA). These financial indicators are listed as Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Non-Performing Loan Growth (NPLG), Loan Growth (LG), Deposit Growth (DG), Staff Cost Growth (SCG), Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Net Interest Margin / Net Operating Cost (NIM-NOC). The analysis found four independent financial indicators that are statistically significant as having a strong association with the ROA. The contribution of the finding is that the Indonesian banks can be guided to focus on these four indicators on their management dashboard to steer their profitable growth. Another contribution is that the central bank authorities can also be informed of these same indicators as a tool to manage the safety of the Indonesian banking sector.
