Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out data/factors that cause lack of productivity; knowing the model of the relationship and the influence of accuracy, compensation, leadership, and the environment on emplooye productivity; and to find out the design/solution to increase the productivity of inspectors. The method used in completing this research is the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. From the result of the research that has been done it is known that Accuracy (X1); Leadership (X3); and Work Environment (X4) significantly influence Productivity (Y1) except Compensation (X2). And the most influential variable Productivity (Y1) is Leadership (X3) with percentage of 50,4% and the lowest is Accuracy(X1) with a percentage of 20,1%.

Abstract

Gerandong crackers are different types of crackers with other crackers, the main ingredients gerandong crackers derived from the ready-made crackers, gerandong crackers production process consists of several stages one of which is the dust filter stage. At this stage use the filter tool. In terms of use, this tool is working properly. However, this tool is still not effective, it needs to be redesigned on the tool to improve. The results of this study include: Improving the design of dust filters in the process of making gerandong crackers in terms of how to use reverse engineering methods. From design that can be expected can be repaired from dust filter tool. Recommendations to reduce air pollution are less effective. The Efforts to improve the design of dust filter equipment in this study using reverse engineering methods assisted by CAD (Computer Aided Design), in this case solidwork software and will be integrated with Root Cause Analisys. The result of this research is a new design of dust filter tool that is practical and effective, practically not doing a lot of arrangement and switching tool when will production, effective in reducing dust when production and output yielded cleaner than before

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal and external factors that influence development and provide proposals for competitive strategies which are the priority of developing CV Angkasa Jaya. This study uses Strength, Waekness, Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) methods to identify internal and external factors of the company as well as alternative strategic planning and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) for determining strategic priorities. The results showed that internal and external factors that affected were products, marketing, production processes, the existence of government support, fruit beverage trends, market potential, technology, competition, shifting market tastes, economy and substitute products. Alternative strategies that become priority development strategies that can be applied by CV Angkasa Jaya are to increase the use of production technology and the internet, improve and maintain product quality in order to be able to compete with other products, develop business potential by making product innovations, carry out continuous production processes, improve and maintain market share, increase production capacity and the last priority is to increase promotion.

Abstract

Pusat Pelatihan Mandiri Kelautan dan Perikanan (P2MKP) is a seaweed cultivation business field that located in Jalan Mulawarman Gang Anyer RT.13 No. 44 Manggar, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. The selling method they applied has no specific strategy in marketing, the selling method they applied only provide current needs of customers.Strategy formulation starts with the input stage to formulating the strategy; identify and analyze the factors of internal and external company’s environment. The next stage is the matching stage to result a proper strategy alternative with combining the internal and external factors. The result of IFE and EFE matrix included into IE matrix to detect company location. After the location of company was detected in the IE matrix, then SWOT analysis was required to formulate strategy alternative. The last stage, decision stage, it decides which one will be the priority with using Analysis Hierarchy Process as recommended strategy for the company. It results strategy is;(1) Maintain a relationship with the government to get patent product license, (2) To create an innovation of products with using technology and occur coordination with related instances to get BPOM RI and halal certification, (3) To maintain a cooperation to get government support in widening the marketing area, (4) Increasing production or stocks volume with using technology, (5) To reach the efficient production cost with maintaining the same product price, and the sixth strategy is build the partnerships to increasing the quality of product so the customer value is achieved.

Abstract

PT. FOCUS CIPTAMAKMUR BERSAMA, Blitar, East Java. is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry manufacture Hexabent (mixed fertilizer) with Bentonite raw materials (natural rock). In the process of operation PT. FOCUS TOGETHER CIPTAMAKMUR have problems at a distance of material handling systems. In this study using CRAFT algorithm and as aligning with ARC method. This method aims to determine the function of the relationship between the stations to each other and to minimize the cost of material displacement. Cost of material displacement is defined as the flow of products, the distance and cost of transport unit. Collecting data in this study through pengkuran distance between stations, material handling costs between stations (OMH per unit distance), and the number of stations that exist in the company. From the research results obtained by the method of saving CRAFT distance from the initial layout of 2,751 meters to 1,332 meters difference of 20.93 %. And earned comparisons to the costs of moving materials from Rp. 1.684.800 to Rp. 1.332.050 or occur savings of 20.93 %.

Abstract

For machine line 18, is intended to produce PVC pipe with a 5 ", 6" and 8 "with each contained item type AW and type D with a turn of the cycle a certain schedule. From the turn of this cycle, there are a couple of the impact is too long good finish duration of vacant stock in the Warehouse Production (GHP) pipe. The impact of the long duration of the good stock of empty finish unachieved impact on consumer demand (in this case the agent). By not reaching the consumer demand impact on service level SCM & Delivery. The purpose of this study to determine the optimal level of machine line 18 so that the products PVC size 5 ", 6" and 8 "are produced to meet the buffer stock storage. Thus, this research is expected to make a production schedule to meet the stock warehouse to the fullest, can meet the needs of consumers (agent) to the maximum but not over. From the data and data analysis using the First Come First Serve (FCFS), Earlier Due Date (EDD), Short Process Time (SPT), the SPT method is the most optimal method by having an average completion time of 4,10 days with 36,75% utility, then the average number of jobs 2,77 work, and delays the average occupation is 0,42 days.

Abstract

Environmental performance evaluation of IKM Batik KA is carried out by combining 3 methods: Integrated Environment Performance Measurement System (IEPMS), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Objective Matrix (OMAX). Of the 32 Key to Environment Performance Indicators (KEPI) submitted to IKM, 18 quantitative indicators and 14 qualitative indicators were selected to be assessed. All KEPI have almost the same importance in the range of 0 - 10%. The results of calculations with OMAX and the Traffic light system assessment show that there are 6 KEPI at the green level, 2 KEPI at the yellow level and 18 KEPI at the red level. There are only 2 KEPI, namely indicators I2 and D1 which have a high level of importance and are at the green level, which means that the desired targets and achievements are synchronized. The total achievement value of KEPI in the OMAX calculation is at 3.31, it is included in the red category, meaning that the environmental performance of the KA Batik IKM is still bad and must be corrected immediately.

Abstract

PT. ABC is one of the companies that consentration in steel construction. The company has an extensive warehouse perfectly adequate. But the problems faced by PT. ABC in warehouse goods product company has no arrangements regarding the layout of raw materials, so at this time to adjust the position of the storage and preparation of raw materials, made by placing the material in an irregular position and randomly depending on the position of the empty warehouse. As a result, the time period of materials so long and the production becomes inhibited. The method used in this research is by using methods dedicated storage. This method is used to minimize time and comparing the activity mileage outgoing or incoming raw materials. From the analysis results obtained value is 8258.77 meter distance. Abstract

Restaurant business is one of the types of businesses that continues to grow in Indonesia. With the potential of this type of business, restaurants are competing to provide the best service for consumers. Waroeng Special Sambal is one of the restaurants that located in Yogyakarta. Waroeng SS has been serving consumers for years, nevertheless there are things that are felt not to meet with consumer expectations. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of service in Waroeng SS restaurant, determine the priority of improvements, and determine the perceptions and expectations of consumers using the modified servqual method. The result of this study indicate that the tangible dimension for direct consumers has the lowest value and for consumers nearby, the dimensions that have the lowest performance is responsiveness. The attribute that has the lowest value is “the size of parking space” for direct consumers and “the parking space for vehicle onubstructive” for consumers nearby.

Abstract

PT. Maspion III is a company engaged in household appliances products, In carrying out its production process activities PT. Maspion III experiences various problems. Clarisa products are products that are found reject or defective. because it is caused by suboptimal quality control. This can be seen from the number of reject or defect products. This study aims to determine the type of waste that causes defects, determine the capability of the production process, and provide recommendations for improvement in the production process. The research methods are quantitative and qualitative approaches to lean six sigma and yang and FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis). lean six sigma is a systemic and systematic approach to identifying and eliminating waste. FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis) is used as a reference for companies to take corrective actions to identify product critical points in the production process. The results obtained are waste that affects product quality, namely waste defect, there are two highest defects, namely floi with a cumulative presentation of 51% and a breakage of 65%. In August the capability process is 1.5012, In September the capability process is 1.6818, In October the capability process is 1.3727, In November the capability process is 1.4275, In December the capability process is 1.4366
