Abstract

PT. ISS INDONESIA is a company that already has employees, which is very big. With seven branches spread across Indonesia, PT. ISS INDONESIA has more than 500 workers. Recruitment will continue as the opening of supermarkets or PT. ISS INDONESIA requires additional employees to develop or fill in empty formations. Subjects in this study are the application of decision support systems used to assist employee selection process in accordance with the criteria set by the management PT. ISS INDONESIA. System design with modified waterfall process model includes the definition of requirements required by the user in order to design the system for process modeling, data modeling, and user interface. In this research, it is expected to produce Decision Support Candidate Selection Software System With ARAS Method that can be used to manage employee candidate data and computerized criteria ranging from weighting, calculation of dominance value, arithmetic preference, calculation of index value and ARAS calculation.

Abstract

The speed at which information is transmitted is indispensable in current technological developments. Information is a message or a collection of messages or a data that has been processed so as to produce something needed by the party in need. Information can take the form of various data formats, including text, video or images. The problem of the speed of information delivery is often slightly inhibited due to the large file size of the information. In addition, the security factor is also very important, as many irresponsible parties will try to steal the information and may harm the stolen information when it is misused. The process undertaken in this study is to analyze the process of encryption and decryption algorithm El Gamal and compression algorithm Unary coding then designing security and compression applications using design tools such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 to simplify the making of applications. After completion of the design, then the file will be encrypted and compressed using applications that have been designed. Then, the result of the process is a text file that can not be understood and has a size smaller than the original.

Abstract

The higher activity of data exchange transactions both online and offline raises concerns for some parties, large data sizes result in a waste of memory and slow data transfer and delivery processes. For this reason, a technique is needed to change the size of the data to be smaller. This technique is called compression or better known as data compression. Data compression is a process of converting a set of data into a form of code to save data storage requirements. Fixed Length Binary Encoding Algorithm (FLBE) uses a lossless technique that does not eliminate information at all, only representing some of the same information. The results obtained from the application of Fixed Length Binary Encoding algorithm in the process of compression and decompression include compression capacity, compression ratio and compression and decompression time. In accordance with the results of the experiments carried out, it can be seen that the data originally having a larger size can be compressed well implemented in text files.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that has two seasons, rainy and summer. when the rainy season arrives, the majority of people feel anxious when drying their clothes. The anxiety will increase when drying clothes but is outside the house, and at home, there are no people. From this incident, people were reluctant to hang clothes in the open, because they were afraid that their clothes would get wet when they were left by their owners while doing activities outside the house. FLC (Fuzzy Logic Controller) method is a method that only knows 0 and 1 in operation. The vague operation, there is no gray only black or white. And this is something logical. From the description of the problems that occur, the authors find the idea to make clothesline pullers that can work automatically, even though there are already some people who have made the same mechanism using Arduino Mega 2560, with just a dark and bright condition, here the author wants to try to renew the way the mechanism of the device works by using Arduino Uno, and look for conditions when the heat is hot but rain, then this method answers what must be done by applying the logic of Fuzzy Logic Controller inside the Arduino Uno microcontroller.

Abstract

Edge detection is the first step to completing information in an image where the edges characterize object boundaries that are useful for the identification process. There are many methods of edge detection, but in this study, the methods taken are the Prewitt method, the CANNY method and the Sobel method to detect the edges of objects in digital images. This system applies all three methods to improve the appearance of the boundary line of an object. This study discusses how to apply the three methods in the application Matlab 7.1. The purpose and benefits of this application are to recognize the application of the results of edge detection and obtain initial information about the edge detection features for object recognition for future researchers.

Abstract

The edge of the image that is difficult to detect by the eye will reduce the beauty of the image, one of these problems occurs in the split underwater image, where the edge of the image is difficult to obtain directly by the eye because in taking the image is directly related to water, and to overcome problems It is necessary to do edge detection in the underwater split image. The Robert method can help to detect edges from split underwater imagery. The use of vb net 2008 will speed up the edge detection process to be carried out by applying the Robert method. Robert's method works by detecting the edges of the vertical part and detecting the edges of the horizontal part of the color image that has been converted into a grayscale image, then the results of edge detection from the two parts are summed up as the final result. -tit to form like lines from the edges of each object contained in an image. From these lines will be obtained the actual forms of each object contained in an image.
