Abstract

Decision support system (DSS) is a system that helps decision makers in this case the principal, so that the decisions produced are considered effective and appropriate to solve the problems faced. Specifically in determining the provision of assistance to poor students, the determination of the criteria is aimed at making the recipient of the assistance in accordance with the purpose of the assistance itself. In this study, the authors applied a combination of SAW and ROC methods in selecting beneficiaries. ROC (Rank Order Centroid) is a method that can produce weight values, while Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is a method used to rank poor prospective student assistance recipients as an alternative. The results of the study are expected to contribute to the development of science, especially the principal in the selection decision for recipients of poor student assistance

Abstract

Today, online shops are in great demand by the people of Indonesia. Lazada, Shopee, Buka Lapak are a number of online stores that are quite popular in Indonesia. Students of the Ganesha Polytechnic are a small part of Indonesian people who are interested in buying at online stores. There is an increase and discussion among the Polytechnic students of Ganesha, in this case the difference is comparing which shops are the best. This debate is the purpose of this study. SuperDecisions is a decision support system which is an important requirement in the process of selecting the best online store. In the process of selecting a store, researchers also dare to use the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method as a problem modeling for complex results. The results of applying the ANP method to Shopee's decision process are the best online stores according to 3.80 Ganesha Polytechnic students, followed by Buka Lapak weighing 3.73 and Lazada with a weight of 2.47

Abstract

The development of technology today has been growing rapidly and has an impact on the behavior patterns of people who feel it. The Ministry of Communication and Information (KOMINFO) released a data that of 265 million people of Indonesia, there are around 54% have used internet technology or about 143 million people. In one survey IDN Research Institute said that there are three Social Media that are widely used in Indonesia, namely Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. This study focuses on extracting data in the form of text produced from social media twitter that responds to the account of the RI presidential candidates in the 2019 elections. Sentiment analysis is obtained through tweet classification using sentiment analysis tools such as NRC Lexicon and Bing Lexicon so that information is obtained in the form of positive polarity and negative polarity from community tweets towards the Presidential candidates in the 2019 elections. Using March data before the 2019 election, for candidate 01 Joko Widodo, the NRC Lexicon analysis gave a value of 249 and bing lexicon of 267 with an average value of 0.11, while for candidate 02 Prabowo Subianto the NRC Lexicon analysis gave a value of 195 and bing lexicon of 204 with an average value of 0.085. Using april data after the 2019 election. Candidate 01 Joko Widodo still received a lot of responses from netizens but the sentiment value shifted more negatively compared to candidate 02 Prabowo Subianto. For candidate 01 Joko Widodo the NRC Lexicon analysis gave a value of 17 and bing lexicon of -273 with an average value of -0,246, while for candidate 02 Prabowo Subianto the NRC Lexicon analysis gave a value of 238 and bing lexicon of -73 with an average value of -0.02430939.

Abstract

The robot is a tool that is basically serves to make something easy in human’s work. Trash hauler robot can be utilized by people to assist in providing ease for the cleanlines of the environment. The robot uses program language C which is processed in application of CodeVision AVR. Completion of the steps in the application of this research is to design a program, create a program, do a test of the robot, refinement of program, and the last is the process of program improvement. The Program could be implemented by requiring there is hardware that will be output of the whole research result. The Program is inside of Microcontroller Application ATMega8535 on this intellegent robot of hauler (Box) Trash can be used as a guide for users of technology to increase knowledge  and continue the innovation of the useful new technology creation.

Abstract

STIKOM Tunas Bangsa is a world education institution located in the area of North Sumatra, where every semester for students who get PPA and BBP scholarships, from the number of students who come from it, not all students get scholarships, and at least get scholarships provided. Each student has the same criteria as the number of scholarships, with a minimum number of scholarship recipients. Therefore, to determine the number of participants who receive PPA scholarships in each country STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. In predicting the number of Kouta scholarship recipients using Backpropagation artificial nerves using data from 2015 to 2019 the data used from previous data has been received by the STIKOM Tunas Bangsa campus. With the existence of this artificial neural network to predict 2020 the number of PPA and BBP scholarship recipients at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa.

Abstract

Soil moisture and temperature are parameters needed by plants in terms of plant growth. In determining soil moisture and temperature according to plants, a control system is needed. This control system uses the Raspberry Pi as an input data processor to output. This control system is designed using fuzzy logic as a decision-making method to maintain soil moisture and temperature that is good for plants. Fuzzy logic is one of the decision support systems that is suitable to be applied to the control system. Fuzzy logic consists of fuzzyfication, formation of fuzzy rules and defuzification. This fuzzy logic uses two inputs and two outputs. The two inputs are soil moisture level and temperature degree. The desired output is the time needed to maintain soil moisture and temperature to keep it in accordance with the needs of the plant

Abstract

The stone that many people today know is Agate, agate has its own uniqueness and privileges, so many agates that many people want to have. Agate which is now commonly found by the wider community, it affects the desire of agate traders to increase their sales turnover. The main problem faced by sellers is that the system used is still manual, such as making reports, there are often errors in the sum of prices and stones sold, so the number of stones sold at the total price often does not match the actual results. With these main problems, a web-based sales application will be built using the waterfall model software development method with stages of analysis, design, coding and testing and data collection methods that include observation and study of literature. The application that will be built consists of a flow system that includes managing goods orders, stock items, payments, delivery of goods and sales reports. It is expected that with this system the operational activities of agate sales can be more effective and efficient so that it is expected to provide more financial benefits for business owners and facilitate customers in making purchases online without coming directly to the store.

Abstract

Tropical countries have a warm and humid climate are suitable habitat for the lives of reptile animals, especially snakes. Snakes are a type of reptile animal that is widely found in tropical countries, especially in Indonesia. The worst thing that happens when meeting a snake is the bite of snake. If the bite comes from a venomous snake it can cause a more serious problem than the bite from non-venomous snake is, which can cause paralysis, disability, and the worst is death. According to the WHO (World Health Organization) an estimated 5.4 million people are bitten by snakes each year with almost 2.7 million being bitten by venomous snakes and get affected symptoms. Around 81,000 to 138,000 people die every year. This research uses image processing technic to make the identification system of snake bites whether venomous or non-venomous. The method used in this system is Active Contour Model and Support Vector Machine. By using these methods, the highest accuracy is obtained in the best of SVM kernel, on RBF kernel and Polynomial kernel.

Abstract

Students rank requires several considerations and criteria. Determination of the criteria must be prepared as much as possible because it is related to the selection of outstanding students. However, this ranking is considered less than optimal and requires a long time because it is processed manually by the school. The right Decision Support System is needed to produce quick and accurate ranking decisions. This study uses the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) as a Decision Support System. This method will use multi-criteria as the main input in decision making. PROMETHEE will be used to analyze criteria based on alternatives compared to rank according to students' grades and abilities. Based on the research sample data, the highest value was 0.739 for alternative A16. This shows that alternative A16 is the best alternative compared to other alternatives based on consideration of all criteria. The development of PROMETHEE with application-based Decision Support Systems is much better because it produces fast and accurate calculations.

Abstract

Oil palm fruit theft at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V still occurs frequently, especially in one district, Tandun District which has 6 oil palm and rubber plantations. The high rate of theft of oil palm fruit causes a decrease in the production of oil palm fruit and palm kernel. This study discusses the use of the K-Means Clustering algorithm as one of the data mining algorithms in grouping data on palm oil theft in the oil palm plantation area of Tandun District. With a number of theft data, this study enables the discovery of the potential for theft of oil palm fruit in the location of oil palm plantations at low, medium and high levels. K-Means Clusering algorithm calculation uses 3 supporting parameters, namely the area of each afdeling, the number of fruits that have been saved, and the number of fruits that have been stolen. After knowing the locations that have the potential for theft of oil palm fruit, the company can implement a strategy to safeguard those potential locations.
